• Cannot open Photoshop editor 13.

  Hello

  I've recently updated since Photoshop 12 to 13. Since I did it, I had zero luck open a Photoshop Editor.

  I am using 8.1 Windows 64 bit. Any other information I can provide, please let me know. I have limited computer knowledge, especially when it comes to technical stuff like that.

  Recently, I uninstalled all instances of Photoshop, I had on my computer. Restarted. Downloaded and reinstalled Photoshop 13. Restarted. When I opened Adobe Photoshop elements 13, the icon that has been installed on my computer, the Organizer opened and let me choose the editor and whatever the other option was, I don't remember, or care - I wanted to only run the editor. When I chose the editor, I was invited to enter my serial number, I did. Immediately after that, I had an unknown Windows error that caused the program to crash. I tried again, but as soon as I chose the editor, I had the same error of Windows. I restarted my computer once again, and now when I try to open the Adode Photoshop elements 13 icon, absolutely nothing happens. The circular "Hourglass" appears next to the pointer of the mouse for a few seconds, then disappears and nothing opens. I tried the chat with support, and just told me to come here. Help, please! I tried to look here for a solution and it seems there are a few solutions to a problem that looks like that, but nothing did. Also if I need to provide other important information to this problem that I've left out, please let me know. Thank you!!

  Tried a few more things. When I tried to open the editor via the program file itself (c:\Program Adobe Photoshop Elements 13\PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe), he tried to open, but I got an error message saying:

  "The program can't start because MSVCR110.dll is missing on your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. »

  I knew that reinstall Photoshop wouldn't fix this, so I did a google search on "Missing MSVCR110.dll" to see if it was something that could be put back on my computer. I found this site which provided this link to download and install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2012, that contains the missing MSVCR110.dll file. Some people said that a Windows Update Remove the missing MSVCR file. I downloaded and installed and then tried to restart the editor via the executable elements in Photoshop elements 13 and SUCCESS record. The program opens, and I am able to change my files. Also tried opening via the desktop icon which did not work before, and that works as well!

  It seems that I answered my own question... ? Reinstallation of Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2012 has also installed the missing MSVCR110.dll file, which prevented the Photoshop Elements from loading. I hope this will help others!

  Moreover, I also learned that Photoshop API is not thread-safe, so that a "thread of the creation" of a plugin in Photoshop causes unpridictable breaks down, and you can't do this in a separate thread.

• Photoshop editor 13 gel, what happens if I use 8 editor with organizer 13?

  Seeing no resolution, then what happens if I use Photoshop 8 Editor (that works) and 13 Organizer (which works)?  Organizer 8 has an error and stops, but editor 13 freezes.  So can I use Publisher 8 with 13 Organizer?

  Hello

  Each version of the editor is only designed to integrate completely with the corresponding version of Organizer - so the simple answer is probably not.

  However, I'm not sure where the Organizer fits into your current workflow. If you were to work like this, you should be able to make it work.

  (1) the scan in the documents using your external application and place the EDUSAT's images in a folder, told WIP-(do not import in the Organizer again).

  (2) use the editor version 8 to manipulate the images you want and save to a folder, say WIP-Out - make sure you clear the option to include it in the organizer of items he will try to add pictures to the catalog version 8

  (3) using the 13 organizer version, import the pictures in the WIP-Out folder. You can then move the images to any other folder, as required, using the Organizer 13 version.

  This workflow assumes that you don't need to keep the scanned image of the moose.

  As far as I understand that responsible Actions are stored in a file of preferences, so moving the atn-original files should have no consequence for Photoshop.

  For the crash, could you please try to rename the following two files and then re-launch of the editor.

  C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\12.0\ThumbDatabase.db3

  C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\12.0\Locale\en_us\MediaDatabase.db3

  You can share your Photoshop resources on your network and load them into any version of Photoshop, as long as you know where you keep you own assets of Photoshop. I have a link versions of Photoshop to my trees of Plug-ins and my Script tree.  All Photoshop versions share these only one copy of these assets must be maintained.

  However something else like brushes, patterns, actions etc need to be loaded in each version of Photoshop, Adobes of synchronization is not a good solution unless you keep all your modules loaded in all versions of Photoshop in the synchronizations of Adobe files. Keeping any charge is not practical. Menu and pallets as the palette of action become big and unusable.  If I had to load each action game I created and expand their range of action Photoshop can not yet contain any list.  Feature of Photoshop have limits.  Layers palette can handle 8000 layers.  However with other features of limit can be surprisingly low.  For example Photoshop only supports up to 53 alpha channels.

  Adobe does not synchronize or even migrate third-party plug-ins.  It is best to know where are your Photoshop modules and maintained outside any Adobe folder.

  Solution: Clean up damaged files and reinstall your app

  You open the image directly from iPhoto? Right-click and choose Edit in > Photoshop elements Editor

  This link is old, but gives information on the tray upward. Respect to the PSE11, but the principle remains the same. In iPhoto prefs you access at the request of the editor in the support files folder. Start from the Finder by holding the Alt (Optn key) key and choosing the library.

  Hello, perhaps one of the steps of the action is to create a copy of the image. This is a very good tactic if you want to avoid affecting your original image.
