  I want to go to 1 GB of RAM IE extra 512 MB on my laptop P4 Satellite 1900-603, I checked the (additive) manual and it says ' onboard two 200 pins + 2.5V DDR SO-DIMM sockets supporting RAM DDR memory modules. Upgrade 1 GB by two max modules of 512 MB memory.

  I couldn't find the part number on the Toshiba site, so I checked the website of Kingston, which gave me KTT3311/512 or KTT3614/512, I bought KTT3311/512 of this notice.

  I ve downloaded the manual for Satellite 1900-603 PS192E series and he says the basic soecifications of the memory being used are:
  module SO-DIMM 144-pin
  SDRAM 3,3 volts
  PS-133 (PC - 100 is unusable)
  Capacity of 128 MB, 256 MB, or 512 MB.

  But according to this page:

  Toshiba graphics drivers are extra designed for these laptops due to overheating problems. Toshiba drivers include because overheating protection if the laptop produce a lot of heat if running at high performance. The original graphic driver doesn t supports this feature because there are designed only for desktop PC. In this case, Toshiba developed the graphic drivers for the newer models.

  You can try to check that the graphics drivers from other units with are delivered with the same graphics card. Maybe you can sole your question on this track

  Sorry I had to say that it is impossible to update a graphics card in a Toshiba laptop.

  A laptop is a very complex machine and there is no space for construction in the slots scalable i.e. I have desktop computers!

  My brother and I bought my father (at age 81) a Satellite Pro 6000 model PS600E-20EE1-EN on E - Bay for Christmas. There is unfortunately no manual with the laptop. I'm in Australia and my father's in the United Kingdom and he asked me to help to get your hands on a paper manual.

  As I don't know anything about Toshiba laptops or point of sale UK, I was wondering if someone could help. I tried for an hour on the net but could not find a manual to download, which seems to correspond to the above specifications. I guess I could make a phone call international to support the customer in the United Kingdom, but thought I'd try here everything first. My dad would really like a paper, in order to download manual is second best option.
