P6 64 - bit version, the 8.3 - can be deployed on Oracle 11 g client & 11.2.0.3.0 DB?

Hello

This statement in the sizing guide threw me off the coast. We seek to deploy 8.3 dev with client 11g and 11.2.0.30 64-bit database server.

11.1.0.7.0 customer database is supported for Oracle 10 g 2, databases Oracle 11 GR 1 material and 11.2.0.2.0 for Oracle 11 GR 2 (required only for Oracle databases and supports only the 32-bit version).

Any comment is appreciated.

Best,

Bob

It depends on P6 web or client P6...

In any case one thing you should know is customer P6 technology old enough to connect to Oracle database are supported only by the 32-bit Oracle client. This means in the db server, is not of importance by using 32-bit or 64-bit, but in the side (PC) client that must be 32-bit installed Oracle client to connect to Oracle database.

But if you want to use only P6 on the web, it should not be a problem.

I hope this will help

    Hi Paul,.

No, you can not install the 32-bit version of Windows to the sides of the 64-bit version. However, you can have a configuration dual boot (32-bit on a partition and 64-bit on another). In this case you will need two licenses, a license being dedicated to a facility only.

Windows 7 32 bit version product key - where can I get this (UK)?

Product keys are not sold separately, "retail" versions of Windows are products in box with installation support 32 and 64 Bit and plastic a card inside the box that contains the key. Anyone who sells the right key is most like a crook.

Since Microsoft stopped selling Windows 7 about 2 years ago, it is very unlikely, you can find media "Retail".

OEM versions (which are related to the 1st computer they are installed / activated on and can not be moved / used on another computer) but may still be available.

  • A JDeveloper 10.1.3 application can be deployed in Oracle AS 10.1.2.3?

    Hello

We have currently a 10.1.2.0.2 application server installed and a stand-alone application 10.1.3 Server version 3 which contains an application written in JDeveloper 10.1.3. I intend to upgrade our 10.1.2.0.2 application server to 10.1.2.3 and I wonder if this will allow me to deploy the JDeveloper OC4J application in it and blow the R3 stand-alone application server? It would be good if it was possible because our R3 application server is a bit crumbly and I'd love to get rid of it. Can someone advise me on this?

    Thank you

    Hi Adam,.

1 Please note that the Patch Sets are not released new version. They have a significant difference between them. Upgrade patches game brings no new features or functionality. They fix problems with the old version and solve problems.
So if your application, which is currently deployed to 10.1.3 AS, is not deployable on OC4J - 10.1.2.0.2, then it will be not deployable to ACE - 10.1.2.3 either.
    2. the question of whether an application is deployable on the OC4J from an AS Rel 2 can be verified by seeing which version of J2EE/JRE, it uses, and which one is taken in charge by 10.1.2.0.2 OC4Js.
    3. you can fill your love; blow 10.1.3 AS and then reinstall to try to iron out the debris.

  • Right click and menus of Firefox have a 3-4 sec lag only on the 64-bit version

Firefox on several versions (at least the tests 21 and 26) has a mismatch when using menus and clicks.
When you use a 32-bit version, this difference does not exist. Only when you use the 64-bit version the symptom appears.

the problem disappeared after a reboot!
I agree completely with your analysis of a problem located in the X system. Without doubt, there can be many causes.
So to summarize my case, I assumed that something was corrupted in the X Server and forced to use some features of relief, but this ability has caused the problem of delay in right click. When I rebooted, the server restarted correctly and fresh, and the problem does not appear.
Let me know if it seems too stupid as explanation.
I'm sorry to hear other people have the same problem. We can continue the analysis for them on this thread.

  • Is it necessary to install the 32-bit and the 64-bit version of Ps Cs6?

You can, but you will lose some functionality.

  • version 64 bit or 32 bit of the installation package?

No matter, it is crucial, if I install the 32-bit version or the 64-bit version of the software and drivers for my HP OfficeJet Pro 8500 has? I know that common sense would indicate 64 bit since my home prem of windows 7 64-bit office. But both of my programs run as 32-bit only, and they are all grouped together. I'm not technically proficient, I have no idea if there are reasons to use 32-bit software of the printer or, instead, if it's important I download and install the 64-bit version specifically. Thanks in advance,-W

Thank you, Yes. During the reinstallation of the 64-bit version, the process has failed to find the proper drivers, probably the result of my using the HP cleaning brush. so I used the HP diagnostic printer install utility which seems to have successfully completed the installation. Now, it seems that everything is fine. Thanks a lot for your quick and helpful answer!  W

  • Can I install Windows vista 64-bit for free if I have the 32-bit version preinstalled (OEM)?

I have Windows Vista 32 bit pre-installed on my computer and now I'm ready to add more memory to my machine.

I've already paid for Windows Vista, when I bought my Dell computer a few years (I "réinstallation DVD Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit").

I guess I can legally get and install the 64 bit version of the same operating system (I mean for free, of course)?   I don't want to pay for Windows 7.

Whether or not it is an option would be between you and Dell.  Copies of the retail Windows come with two discs, but OEM copies that are sold with computers come with one or the other, the one that you ordered when you ordered the computer.  If Dell doesn't want to or can't provide you with a copy, then no one else is able to.

    Hi George P Boutwell,.

Thank you for using answers Forum.

I think that VMware has a 64-bit/function version. You will need to contact them to verify this.
64-bit to 32-bit is not supported by Windows Easy Transfer, as far as I know.

    I hope this helps.

  • Where can I download the 64 bit version of windows 7 OS?

    Hello.

My warranty on my dell latitude e6500 laptop just recently expired, and of course that means I now have problems

My hard drive crashed, I'm trying to replace it with an SSD.

I intend to reinstall everything on my laptop from scratch, and while im at it I intend to do some updates.

I have windows 7 pro 32 bit Dell DVD re-setup and reinstalling windows XP pro 32-bit DVD, the two discs were supplied with my laptop.

I prefer to use windows 7 64 bit instead of 32 bit, so that I can put more memory in this laptop.

So my question is this: is there a way by which I can download a 64-bit version of the re-installation of windows 7 Dell DVD (an iso file would be nice).

I remember a few years with another computer (non-dell), I was able to go to the website microsoft and request a download free 64-bit to replace my 32-bit installation, is something microsoft still offers, and applies to dell as well? or can I just download a 64-bit version of dell?

I found a dell Backup Recovery Manager in the category downloads available in 32 and 64 bit, for my service tag, is that something that will generate a .iso or windows install package that I can use.

I appreciate any guidance that you guys can give, because my warranty is out and I can't get on the phone or chat online with dell.

You cannot download Dell installation media (or any what Dell media), but you can download Retail media, then activate by phone from Microsoft (NOT Dell) with the key on your COA (keys are interchangeable between the 32-bit/64-bit).

    www.mydigitallife.info/Download-Windows-7-ISO-Official-32-bit-and-64-bit-Direct-Download-Links

You can also use any installation media Dell 64-bit from another machine, borrowed from a friend, or bought on ebay.  In the United States, Dell will send you filter replacement, although ONLY for the bit-level and the version you bought.
