  If the mysterious "somebody" has not deleted the hidden restore partition (assuming that your Acer model had a), you can restore the computer to its factory costs.  Otherwise, you can get an Acer recovery media.

  In two cases, Yes, restore Windows XP will erase everything that is currently on your hard drive, so if you have all the data (documents, e-mail, images, music, etc.), you must copy it to the external media before the restore operation.  Applications that were not preloaded by Acer must be reinstalled from original installation (CD/DVD or downloaded installation package) media saved.

• No digital cable in Media Center?

  I am currently under a bridge GT5694 with Vista 64 bit.  I swapped the internal for a Hauppauge WinTV-HVR 1250 tv tuner card wireless card so that I could use the Media Center as a DVR.

  I am currently unable to get Media Center to listen to digital channels and can't seem to find any options under setting (or the tuner configuration) to make sweeping digital signals.

  The WinTV software is quite capable of tuning in quite a few digital channels unencrypted, but without channel guide or function DVR that I'm dying to WMC.

  I searched for the corrections online, but none seems not to work.

  Any suggestions?

  Apart from the suggestion of Santosh to ensure that Windows is completely up to date on updates ('important' and 'optional', as there have been several updates to Media Center that fell in both categories), I also recommend that you install the driver package Media Center specific 'good' for this tuner from Hauppauge rather than the drivers updated or CD provided by Windows.
  Go to http://www.hauppauge.com/site/support/support_hvr1250.html, then click on the "Install Windows Media Center" tab on this page.  The package you want isMCEKit_setup - it includes the specific drivers for Media Center (as an encoder software for the analog tuner on the card) which are not included in the package 'standard', or provided through WU.

  Once you have installed the drivers of such (and rebooted), restart the installation of TV in Media Center.  If MC now gives you the option to set up two tuners (should be), go with it. If not, try selecting "no, I would like to manually configure my signal" - OK now?
  When you configure sources Guide tuners, you'll select for the analog tuner and for the digital tuner.

  A couple of useful things, too, to put in place a Clear QAM tuner in Media Center (once you get to recognize the tuner, of course):

  If you are still unable to put in place the two tuners in Media Center, I recommend doing a reset database (sometimes, ah, stuck...):
  Open an elevated command prompt.  Run the following command: C:\Windows\eHome\mcupdate.exe - MediaCenterRecoveryTask
  (Note the space between the .exe and the dashboard).  Let it run for a few minutes (I don't remember if it will give you a "I'm done" - type confirmation), restart and run the Media Center Setup again (that MC should encourage them to you on his own - he must perform installation of first broadcast.)

  Hi Guy,

  I followed the quick guide to installation completely. However, when I'm about to package content in Flash Access Manager, I press the button 'Package Media' and are getting out and newspapers such as AdobeFlashAccess.log, it does not show any window on the Panel either warning dialog. I should be configured correctly according to the guide, I'm not sure that it's correct because I installed on the VPN servers.

  Is someone can you please tell me what step I was missing?

  The error message in AdobeFlashAccess.log can be ignored unless HSM is used in your Management Server package. It is a known problem, and it does not block the Management Server package contents package.

  The real problem here is that there is an extra space in the path of Tomcat (for example, C:\Program Files\Java\Tomcat). I think that it is a bug in Java. We are woking on workaround to the present. Please make sure that there is no space in the path of your Tomcat folder for now. Thank you.

• Cannot find controller drivers USB HP Pavillion M6-1040eo

  I had to do a clean install for reasons I will not go in and my arrogance is a judge not a necessary backup.

  After what I went through a painstaking quest to reinstall all the drivers, but I can't find the missing drivers for USB controllers. They are not found on the page of support/drivers for the product, or windows may find them.

  Call me a tree because I am confused.

  Help, please.

  PS According to the Microsoft Fix It tool, there are two USB controllers with missing drivers, I guess it is for USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 controllers.

  It seems that you run a license for a particular channel. Yes, you might have a holographic disc perfectly to research, but this does not mean that the license is legitimate since its easy these days to make records of the hologram. The people who work at the factory can secretly create discs of hologram they resell on the black market or buy press machines to do the job.
