Pages InDesign 5.5 gel tab

Hello

I work with a 32-bit version of InDesign 5.5; Recently, I upgraded my Dell Studio 15 to 10 Windows. I have a processor Intel i5 with 6 GB of RAM.

While working on a portfolio of about 70 pages, I noticed a decrease in performance and response within the program. In particular, thumbnails page tab locked pages and refused to update. This, of course, makes the extremely difficult document to navigate. I thought that the file may be making too big so I split it into two and recorded as two smaller files. This does not solve the problem. Since then, I discovered a way to force the error to occur. All I have to do is enter in the view, leave a few gaps to load, then exit at the interface of work as well as the tab pages is frozen. I can still work on the document, slowly, but have found that the best work around is to save the file, close the program and restart the application. This returns the program return to normal activities... for a while. Is this a known issue? A that someone finds a permanent solution? I tried to look online, but all discussions I've found focuses on the latest version of InDesign on the cloud...

Update directly from Windows 7 to Windows 10 is a bit of a roll of the dice. Microsoft has done a great job and my 8.1 to 10 upgrade was seamless, but 7, you will need to wait for questions. I was totally ready to do a clean install after the upgrade.

My advice is to do a clean install of win 10 before do you anything else, and to be aware that CS5.5 is not supported under him. The i5 isn't all that horrible but the 6 GB is quite low. I guess you have a 64-bit version of Windows, but CS5.5 is only 32 bits if you have this limitation as well.

Even to go to CS6 would be an improvement and your license CS5.5 qualifies you for an upgrade.

  • Questions on a page 2 PDF fillable form tab

I created a two page PDF form. When TAB in the last field on page 1, it goes up to the second element in a group of option buttons 3 on 1 page, instead of on page 2. Radio buttons are not even the first fields on page 1. My tabs are all in the right order, so I don't know why it does this. Any ideas?

You can get the checkboxes to behave similar to the buttons on the radio by creating an exclusion group. You do this by naming all the checkboxes in the Group of the same name, and then set the value to export for each widget or individual box to a unique value. This will allow only a checkbox be selected and your users can uncheck a box ticked if none of the check boxes are selected. This is not possible with radio buttons.

We can use JavaScript to go to a form field specific using the setFocus method in the exit on blur action or a field.

  • I created a 22 page Indesign document and I am wanting to place it in muse as a book. How can I do this

I created a 22 page Indesign document and I am wanting to place it in muse as a book. How can I do to do that.

Its a simple 22-page document. Back to Earth with a yellow area single text on each page, such as a previous/next button on the bottom. I'm hoping to put it in muse on one page, instead of having to do an absurdly long page in muse. I want the next/previous buttons to work as well.

Inside of InDesign, I have already selected "Digital Publishing", but am stuck now on what to do.

I use Creative Cloud 2015 for Muse and InDesign.

Any help will be appreciated. Once the Adobe online chat is open again, I will discuss with them, but by then, I expect to get help on the forum.

You can try to use the composition for this where containers will include content and the triggers can include thumbnail images.

    Thank you

menu button and click on Preferences

    3. In the Preferences window, click on general
    4. Click the use current Pages button

  • Some Web pages displays the text as tabs, and vertical separators

I have this problem with Firefox where for some reason when I go to some random Web sites or even in my e-mails posted on the Web site is replaced by vertical and tab delimiters

    http://S29.postimg.org/r59ug5r1z/Firefox_Messed_Display.jpg

But if I highlight the truncated text and then make a copy, I'll stick with success the original/propper text.

I thought immediately that a plugin/addon to the culprit. So I reset Firefox (Firefox coming stock) and tried the same webpage (plain Firefox here) and got the same result!

So I tried to run in Mode safe and all of a sudden, everything seemed ok. Then I tried standard mode (still plain vanilla) and yet again got the problem. So I guess that something is wrong with the default configurations in Firefox. Since then, I reinstalled a few plugins while Googling for a solution. No idea how to fix this?

Try disabling Direct2D by setting the pref gfx.direct2d.disabled true on the subject: config page and leave hardware acceleration enabled otherwise.

You can try to create a new Boolean pref on the topic: config page and set its value to true

This way you still have the advantage of hardware acceleration, but can not suffer rendering problems.

If this doesn't help then you can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox (you will need to close and restart Firefox).

    • Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.

  • How can I configure the 9 pages 'home' on the 'new tab '.

There are 9 boxes 'home' to pin 9 sites on the 'new tab', for easy access to favorite sites.
How I can pin to stay up, when I can't even bring up the empty spot?
I know how to "attach" the tabs at the top and I know how to "pin" a page on the 'new' tab when it appears, but I can't force a page is displayed in the test at white spot.

Here's how you can pin a website for the new rectangles of tab:

    1. Open a new tab.
    2. Go to your Favorites and find the Web site you want to pin.
    3. Drag the bookmark on the space you want to pin.
    4. Repeat steps.

Thumbnails may not appear immediately. Open websites with missing images, just the pages they link to (do not go to the subpages), and then restart firefox. The thumbnails must be created now.
If there is still some lacking, they are probably from a secure website (https).

  • "Use current Page" to save the Home/tab pages is gray, even though I have a new install of ver 22 without adding plugins or extensions. How can I fix it?

When I try to save my pages / tabs, I can not, because this option is grayed out. I even uninstalled FF with Revo Uninstaller completely reinstalled without new plugins or extensions, and it remains greyed out. The only thing I can do is pin the tabs, but I wish to use this option. If I can't, I don't know whether its Firefox or malware or? Thanks in advance for any help. Windows 7 family Premium SP1, Firefox ver. 22

Thank you very much for your time and effort. It was not the solution, but I couldn't find a place to close the ticket/request. I discovered that I had pinned tabs, in doing so, it grayed out this option. Once I have this marking tabs, I was able to use the option ' use current Page/s. Thanks again for responding so quickly.

  • An external source, changing the page displayed when a new tab is opened.

I recently downloaded some freeware and without permission, he installed some malicious programs under the name of My start by Incredibar who hijacked the home page, the new tab page, default search and other functions of Firefox engine.

The removal of the program itself was a simple task, as it has been disabling and uninstalling the addon that he had installed in Firefox. I thought that everything was back to normal, but when I went to open a new tab start my site appeared rather than the default blank page.

Will be a relocation without deleting user data to fix this? I prefer not having to pull a full clean reinstall because I have a lot of addons with custom settings and connections.

Firefox must be closed when you remove the element from the Windows Control Panel. Have you removed items as well ?

After resetting the subject: config "mystart" elements, Firefox must be restarted for the items to disappear in about: config.

If you change the items user_pref prefs.js while Firefox is open and there is "mystart" or "incredibar" preferences in about: config, your changes in the prefs.js file will be overwritten.

Have you tried the add-on I suggested above? https://addons.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/addon/SearchReset/

You will have to perhaps restore the Firefox default state and start over with a new profile. Read the following and all the links in the following carefully to understand Firefox reset. See - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/reset-firefox-easily-fix-most-problems
