  To be more precise, we do no claim themselves or generic PDF creators who have settings on a page-by-page basis to force the conversion of color to grayscale during the PDF creation process itself. This includes all Adobe applications and the functionality provided by Acrobat.

  The easiest way to achieve this would be to create a PDF file of the first page in color, then create a separate PDF file of the remaining pages using parameters to force grayscale for this file. (Such an arrangement is easily achievable in Adobe InDesign, for example, but not in other applications, including printing to the instance of Adobe PDF PostScript Windows printer driver). Then, combine the two files in Acrobat and save the result.

  Alternatively, you can create two files of color and then after creating the file, use Acrobat Preflight for the second file to grayscale and then combine them as above.

• How to get the text level in the long document

  Is there an easy way to put text level (IE on the same horizontal line) when looking across columns, spreads and even throughout a document of long style book?

  Depends on wheter you have paragraphs that use different key values mixed together. If the principal is the same everywhere, the text should align itself automatically.

  If this isn't the case, you probably want to set up a baseline grid. You do this in the preferences. Set the spacing to the value of the line spacing for your body text and add snap to grid for the definition of the style. You probably don't want to use snap to grid with other styles, which the leader is different because the grid willovveride the value of line spacing and you will gradually upward with a wider than expected line spacing. Adding space to something like a cap can help mitigate an extra space between the title and the following text.

  If you are referring to the history in Internet Explorer, you can delete the history.

  Step 1: If you use Internet Explorer, you can check the following settings:

  a. open Internet Explorer

  b. click on Tools , then click Internet Options

  c. under browsing history, click settings tab and then click on the history tab and look for number of days History to be saved in Internet Explorer. You can change the settings according to your requirement.

  d. click OK if/after changes

  Step 2: You can also delete the history of the site, that you have already visited by these steps and check.

  b. click on Tools , then click Internet Options

  c. under browsing history, click delete tab

  d. Click to select history - list of visited Web sites , and then click Remove

  e. close and restart Internet Explorer and check

  Return to the numbering and section options and tick the box "start numbering at" and change the number 1:

  

  You will get a warning that it is alread another page with this number, so you have to go back and choose another style of number for the cover.

  Adobe muse is not exactly a modular design tool, so the answer is no, it will not automatically do what you ask, how to manage what you want, unfortunately, is at the stage of planning the Web site. Which means it's probably the best to design your Web page so you don't have to worry about overlap. Recommended for web designers is to try to use as few elements as possible. For example try using a single text field and continue to the bottom of the page using spacing of paragraphs, left/right justify etc etc. You can paste images "inline" with the text that moves with the text, see here: text on an image

  This will make what I think you want, but it requires you to think differently about the design of your Web page.

  I hope this makes sense? In addition, in the future, it helps a lot to take screenshots and add them to your message as a picture paints a thousand words!

  This is the STRANGEST thing... I have a document in InDesign created by someone else. I intend to use it as 'art of seeds' for another pamphlet, but the text is behaving strangely that I try to move or copy and paste in a new default value of the document.

  The text changes when I simply drag (or copy) the text off the page on the pasteboard box. Still pallets character and paragraph, text frame options, etc. report the same settings for all the copies text. I have an image on the screen what happens when I copy and place it off-page. The original text is on the right, paste on the pasteboard on the left. (The vertical black line is on the left page). It seems that paragraph space before/after changed, but according to the pallets, he does not.

  

  IF ANY PART OF THE TEXT BOX IS IN CONTACT WITH THE SAME PAGE PER MILLIMETER, IT SEEMS OK. But if the text box is COMPLETELY on the pasteboard, it changes.

  InDesign CS5 Mac OS 10.6.8. Suitcase Fusion 14.0.6 Video Software using, who reported no problems when documents have been opened and on what appear to be the correct fonts.   I think you will find that the text is printed to snap to grid. Which is defined, what (and in the case of the first illustration, space or space before after) are the minimum distances between the lines. Each line will be pushed downwards following the next line of the grid.

• page numbering prob cant get inside to be 1 without other travel cover

  Im making a book and I want to inside coverage on page 1.  I do want the right pages to get the displayed number.  For this reason, the first issue of the visible page will be 2.  I have this game in master pages and everything works fine.  The only problem is that his account of the cover page to technically be page 1, making it the first page visible number to be 3 on page 3.

  I go to the numbering options and set page 2 to page 1.  When I do that, it converts this page for a right instead of left page which is to put the numbers on the wrong page.  How do I prevent this?

  Before starting on how to do what you want, I will tell you that it is a bad idea. The readers expect books with left to right the text so that the odd and even of left ribs right pages. This is why ID does what he does.

• Pages BSD system calls and functions in the C library is missing

  Commands like socket man 2 or 3 man printf say there is no such page manual. How do we install the corresponding manual pages?

  I'm on Mac OS Sierra and XCode 8.0 is installed.

  I use zsh if the shell is important somehow.

  You need your environment variable MANPATH set to.: / usr/share/man: in zsh, if it is not. I have 8 of Xcode and the command line tools installed and no problems with the man pages, including those that you mentioned. I use Bash, zsh not.

  You can optionally extend the MANPATH search by adding/usr/local/share/man order: and let you check out these pages added to this place by non-Apple software.

  I understand your message that you are not able to save your document Pages. I know how it is important to be able to save your Pages documents for later use. In the following discussion, a user named Kreklo suggests activating/deactivating the feature Documents & data in the iCloud settings. To do this, go to system preferences > iCloud > Documents and data. Then remove the check mark, and then check it in again. Then go towards Pages close it and reopen it.

  5 pages is located in your Applications folder.

  Pages ' 08 is located in your Applications/iWork ' 08 folder.

  If you open your old documents Pages ' 08 with 5 Pages it will convert and if not damage, remove a large number of useful features.

  You will probably regret upgrading to 5 Pages which Apple has made extremely inconsistent and keeps changing its file format.
