  Four things are needed for the transparent icon backgrounds:

  (1) Control Panel > system properties > advanced > Performance settings > VisualEffects - check "use shadows for icon labels.
  (2) make a right click on desktop-> rearrange icons by > lock Web items must be deleted.
  (3) If you have any web content on your desktop, transparency won't work. To search for web content: display properties > Desktop > Customize Desktop > Web - make sure that all check boxes are clear.
  (4) wallpaper must be an image file, not html. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  I searched on Google, Adobe and the universe, and after more than 10 hours of research I'm still where I was. Please help me.
  
  Here's the deal. I want to do what should be a simple task of kinderarten. Import a video and drop it on a web page for display.
  That I can do, no problem.
  
  What I can't do after hours and hours is to get the video to be the game pause and only when the visitor presses 'Play '.
  
  I use Flash 8 Pro.
  
  I import the video and publish it. I check the option "Pause Start", which assumes that any sane person will do what I want, but alas it is not.
  
  If you want more details, I import the video as:
  Progressive download from the server
  Average quality of Flash 8
  Use MojaveExternalPlaySeekMute.swf as the skin

  I bought a computer hp laptop pavilion g6 with i3 4 GB of ram and 1 GB graphics. It is only 9 months old and I've used it about 50 ~ 70 times alone. And now, it is very slow. I installed only 26 programs and no any program is larger than 1.5 GB but now it is running very slow and am very lag. So please help me what should I do?

• My displaced images look VERY bad, still have history of dev!

  I used Lr under WinXP.  I backed up all my data Lr, formatted the drive and installed Win7.  I have installed Lr 2.7, moved all my presets, catalogs, images, etc. and relinked, so my catalog and such look just as they did.  All my processed images always have the complete list of changes, which I can not forward and backward at all as you can imagine.

  The problem is THAT ALL my processed images look VERY far out of how they used to be seen in Lr but isn't when exporting!  Here is an example of an image that has been processed before the move:

  I tried to remove and re-rendered previews, which seems to have no effect.  To my surprise, export the image works PERFECTLY and looks exactly as it should!  It is only to the INTERIOR of Lr that image looks like crap.

  My guess is the calibration of the screen. Likely you have a bad monitor on the old or the new operating system profile, or perhaps even on the two. The screen calibration is essential. If you do not have one (an essential tool for digital photographers) calibrator you should delete the profile indicated in the color management tab in the properties of the display pane and then run out and buy a calibrator.

• All of the help files in ACR don't look VERY bad

  The best way I can explain it is look like a GIF file of my RAW file. Mostly in tones more dark/shodows of files. I ran a few tests of "process of elimination" to try to isolate source of challenge.

  1 raw files are stll good, I run it on another computer, and the picture is large.

  2 Moniter and graphics card are beautiful, I open the RAW file in Picasa 3.0 and images appear fin on my P.C.

  I am currently trying to ruin Vista 64

  I use

  Lightroom 2.5

  ACR 5.5

  I can't mine look bad like yours.  With the default settings, except recovery = 100 and contrast = 100, I still don't see the Posterization, nor the Greens you see, even though the colors are a bit strong with the contrast parameter.  If you have changed more things than recovery and perhaps contrast, maybe post these parameters.

  Is it allowed in ACR and then just bad in Photoshop or it's bad in the same way ACR?

  I wonder if you have a monitor profile only bad Photoshop is fully using and problems with?  If you are on a balanced system, you could temporarily set your monitor profile sRGB (or maybe AdobeRGB if on a Mac) and see if the changes of the Photoshop image.

  I have attached a yours/mine of screen showing what I see when I max on recovery and contrast in an attempt to replicate what yours looks like.  I used LR to better document conversion settings, but I also tried in ACR 5.5 and Photoshop and really don't see much of a difference if it... where the two should be using the ACR 5.5 engine.

  Unfortunately Ive had some problems with dota 2 reborn only. It breaks down random r.
  during the games, the screen freezes, scratches appear which get more with time, his stutters or immediately off that then requires me to reboot the system. It happened in the main menu where the screen turned black. on rare occasions, the game crashed on the desktop. These patches, which included memory leak fixes made a bit more playable. I can play games anymore with accident (ca 2 in a row, and then again after a reboot)
  Ive tried the obvious things such as checking game files, update steam, reinstalling the drivers, playing with the settings driver/ingame, different launch options (dx11, autoconfig,...) reinstall directx/vcredist included in the record of dota etc. until the recording of disc and file system errors corrupt.

  other questions:
  -launch option - gl is not working properly. the game is loading, but the main menu is just a black screen with the steam overlay notification flashes in the upper left corner. It actually works with vista or windows in general?
  -J' have had a beta folder in version of dota 2 called "dota" with old files cfg, game files. pourrait this cause issues?
  -My fps in main menu almost changes each time I launch my game. It ranges from 22 to 40 fps ca. the fps rate durin, the game is good

  the equipment works fine otherwise. I have no problem with other games of hunger for resources such as the insurgency or ghost recon ghosts. mayb theres a problem with the allocation of RAM, directx optimization, a steam bad driver detection or detection system/video card (video.cfg). could u please take a look at the mdmps, the newspapers, the dxdiag etc to help me understand what these random crash due r?
