• VI works in IDE, not not having been built

  This is going to be a bit long, but I don't know that I have the choice. I use Mark Yedinak SNMP v1 in LV2014 32-bit driver to talk to a Dell G756N rack mounted power distribution unit (think fancy power strip). My code works fine in the IDE, but causes the freeze after that I have built in an executable file of the program. I don't know what the problem is. I built a more simple example VI that intends to have a simple project example (chic Talker.vi in the SNMP talk project) where the VI breaks down, but it seems to work even after having been built in a .exe. I built the InitializePDU.vi (that works) in the project SNMP talk by dragging the bowels of the problem vi (InitializeEquipment.vi in the project of Dell Power Supply test, does not having been built), so they should be identical.

  To follow up, Drew Pierce of NOR is down to examine the issue. In the morning, before his arrival I have expanded my use of log files and finally had a working executable build.
