• for separating RGB color filters?

  I would like to separate color in an image to create false color - start with a single photo UV, combined with a picture of RGB, then separate the B & G of the RGB so I can map the UV to B, B to G and G to R as insects see things. The film images are not digital bullies.

  You can do without photo filters when you start with a picture (if analogue or digital) color. To get the equivalent of a photo taken with a red filter, use the dialog levels (Ctrl-L) and the less than 0 for the other two channels, G and B output cursor. You get a red monochrome image which you can Desaturate. (If you want to get the color, add a red solid color fill layer). Ditto for other chained up in their own layers. Once you have your three channels desaturated in their diapers, you can add a color to the back and mix the layers mode multiply. If you want to assign a different color to one of these layers, just use a solid color fill adjustment layer bundled with desaturated channel layer.

  Hi everyone, I m going to write a labview program for a test bench that requires to control external devices via the outputs of the NOR-DAQ modules in a chassis usb DAQ and also various measures of tasks via DAQ modules in the same chassis. The output should work for a long time, lets say for about a hour and shouldn´t be interrupted by (i.e. errors in labview code). Measures will be done sometimes but require the variation of some parameters of output. For this type of installation, rather would you recommend to separate the control - and parts of the measure in two screws and allow them to communicate through global variables or rather put in a VI with refined error handling to avoid failure of the output? Or, of course, are there other, better tailored approaches for this friendly task? Thank you for your ideas!

  You should consider master - slave with 1 master architecture and 2 slaves.  A slave can perform control and other measures.

  Intercommunication between the loops: you can use globals or queues. Queues are recommended that globals (freedom of race )

  There are a few good reasons to code compiled separately to screw

  Now, the option is also available for custom orders/type definitions. I wonder if there is any benefit whether for the separation of updating the code of these? None of the reasons for separation will apply to *.ctl files, after all. In fact, it might even be disruptive - in some quick experiments, separation of compiled code has increased the size of the files *.ctl!

  Hi JKSH,

  Good question!  After searching for a bit, the first reason mentioned in the KB, you are connected (to simplify the source code control) looks like it could apply to the .ctl file.

  I guess that similarly to how changes in 1 VI cause unsaved changes in any screws that call it, changes with a .ctl file can do the same thing.  However, it seems that separation of compiled code make it possible only to make changes to a file at a time, without the domino effect.

• What are the best solutions for data warehouse configuration in 10 gr 2

  I need help on solutions to provide my client for the upgrade of the data warehouse.
  
  Current configuration: database Oracle 9.2.0.8. This database contains the data warehouse and a LOBs more on the same host. The sizes are respectively 6 terabyte (3 years retention policy + current year) and 1 terabyte. The ETL tool and BO Reporting tools are also hosted on the same host. The current configuration is really poor.
  
  Customer cannot go for a major architectural or configuration to its environment changes existing now due to some constraints.
  
  However, they agreed to separate the databases on separate hosts of ETL tools and objects BO. We also plan to upgrade the database to 10 g 2 to achieve stability, better performance and overcome the current headache.
  We cannot upgrade the database 11g as the BO is a 6.5 version that is not compatible with Oracle 11 g. And the customer cannot afford to spend anything else than the database.
  
  So, my role is very essential in providing a perfect solution for better performance and take a migration successful Oracle from a host database to another (same platform and OS) in addition to the upgrade.
  
  I got to thinking now of the following:
  
  Move the database and Oracle mart for separating the host.
  The host will be the same platform, i.e. HP Superdome with 32-bit HP - UX operating system (we are unable to change to 64-bit as ETL tool does not support)
  Install the new Oracle 10 g on the new host database and move the data to it.
  Discover all the new features of 10gr 2 in order to data warehouse, i.e., introduction of Clause SQL TYPE, Parallel processing, partitioning, Data Pump, SPA to study the pre and post migration.
  Also at RAC to provide more better solution than our main motivation is to show an extraordinary performance improvement.
  I need your help to prepare a good roadmap for my assignment. Please suggest.

  Two major changes since the 9i to 10g which will impact performance are
  a. changes in the default values when executing GATHER_ % _STATS
  b. change in the behavior of the optimizer

  Oracle has published several white papers on them.

  Since 10g is no longer in the Premier Support, you'll have some trouble connecting SRs with Oracle Support - they will continue to ask you to use 11 g.

  The host will be the same platform, i.e. HP Superdome

  Why do you need export if you do not change the platforms? You could install 9.2.0.8 on the new server, the database clone and then level to 10 gr 2 / 11 GR 2.

• BT Broadband Huawei Modem 3G with Tecra M5 or XP problem

  Please can you help me?

  I have a USB of Huawei E180 key for mobile broadband access that has been issued by British Telecom (BT). I want to use it with my Toshiba Tecra M5 (model PTM 50F - 013013EN) laptop running XP Professional (SP3).

  When inserted is recognized by XP as a Huawei device, but its software pre-installed driver does not load automatically.

  When I manually install the downloaded drivers for separately via BT connection manager software, I get a warning from Windows hardware conflict specific generic/no and the device will unfortunately not complete install and function.

  I spoke at length with the support of BT, but despite sending me a replacement unit and USB power control problem, and they were unable to help solve the problem and left the problem with me to try to resolve simply say that I have a problem with my laptop!

  As far as I know my Toshiba laptop and the XP operating system has the latest updates published and other devices such as flash storage and Tuner WinTV USB all works perfectly when it is installed, so please can you advise what I can try or what other information I can provide to you help me?

  I put t know this modem but if there s a USB device, and then she runs as a plug & play device.
  This means that you need to install first the software/driver of modem before you would connect it to the laptop.

  Therefore, install the driver/software of modem.
  Then restart the laptop and after new reboot connect the modem to the USB port.
  After that you should see something on the screen and more often that the modem should be detected also in Device Manager.

  If you will not notice anything then I would recommend going to the Device Manager and remove (mark and uninstall) USB host controllers and hubs USB in the list of devices. Reboot the laptop (the modem must be disconnected!).
  After the laptop has rebooted again, wait that the USB ports were resettled.
  Then connect the modem to the USB port.

• Office is not on my computer after reinstall

  I reinstalled windows vista and then tried to reinstall the ultimate upgrade but programs that go with the ultimate - such as powerpoint, excel, one note, etc. do not appear to install. It worked before, when I made this 2 years ago, but now it hasn't.  All the ideas that I did or didn't do and what I need to do?

  Hi Experts,

  I have a database and I want to separate year files wise in a form of database.

  A database for 2013

  A database for 2014 and so on...

  There is currently no procedure for separation of records.

  Reports are increasing day after day.

  I intend to do this by querying each table and storing a different database.

  What a way to make?

  It takes less storage to add storage to a database it does to create a separate database for each year of data you want to store, so your argument to save cost and space is invalid.  It is not feasible; a partitioned table would be a good approach, as has already suggested it.

  I have been asked by my school to install Photoshop in our Suite of MacOS but having a problem because I don't want to deploy the master all collection but only a single application e.g. Photoshop. If I download Photoshop to Adobe CS4 support page and use Adobe Deployment Toolkit and then use my serial number of the collection master he does not accept it.

  If you have a license for more then anything you use since the Suite must be installed through it.  Activation for separated from the rest of the individual programs won't work because your serial number is thereafter.  You can select the programs to install later, even if it's the only one.  So install the Suite and select only Photoshop when it comes to select the applications to install.

  How can I extract a large number of documents pdf pages? For example, I would like to extract 1-2 pages 3-5 pages in paper B... etc and Document A.   We offer a feature to split the pages but this feature would be only you can decide the number of pages you want to divide and separate consecutive pages. For example:-If you choose 2 pages, he will separate your document in sets of 2 pages in separate files (1 & 2, 3 & 4, 5 & 6 and so on). This will not give you the opportunity to decide what page number, you're looking to split. You can try the steps below:-

  • Open the PDF and choose Tools > Pages > Split Document.
    In the Split Document dialog box, specify the criteria to split the document.
    Number of Pages specify the maximum number of pages for each document in the slot.
    File size, specify the maximum file size for each document in the slot.
    Top-level bookmarks if the document contains bookmarks, creates a document for each top-level bookmark.
    To specify a folder target to the divided files and filename preferences, click Output Options. Set the options as needed, and then click OK.
    (Optional) To apply the same distribution of several documents, click on apply to many. Click Add files, and choose Add files, add folders, or add open files. Select the files or folder, and then click OK.

  Someone find that navigate the continuous and uninterrupted lines constituting the blocks/paragraphs of the text in the JavaScript code, entered through the console of the target/action, is of a daunting task, especially when making some amends?
