• Partial import vob files

  I'm having a problem with the import of some cameras Canon handhelds VOB files.  I have 3 cameras, two different models.  When I import the VOB files, I have just the first 5 to 10 seconds of the entire file.  I can import these same files in elements with no problems, but I'm willing to spend in PP because of all the other capabilities.

  Does anyone have any ideas as to why he sees only the first 10 seconds of the VOB files?  I have read through some of the threads here and found one that was a "copy" of all the VOB files in a VOB file.  I tried and it is shown in 10 seconds.

  It seems odd that it works in elements 7.x, but not in Premiere Pro 4.1.

  In option, if I wanted to export the files excluding items and then put them in PP, what would be the best format / settings to use to maintain the best possible quality?

  The extent of the 'partial import' PrPro, I met similar with some assets converted to DV - AVI Type II. In a lot of similar files from a client, I have converted in batch. Most is perfect. However, and for some reason, some might appear in PrPro with a bad time. For those, I have run through pre 4 and the export to the same exact format. These new files import into PrPro perfectly, with the correct time. G Spot sees absolutely nothing different between what I imported pre and what I exported meadow. Yet, there is something that does not like the PrPro. Go figure. When this happens to me, I know it will take a little longer, but that one step was correct 100% of the time. That's why I pre and PrPro on the laptop. For me, PrE is only a tool.

  I have the requirement according to which, because of the size huge and taking more than 8 hours to take dump using expdp.

  So I intend to take the weekend and partial discharge which is (a few tables were score in 3 parts, which has more than 2 GB as part1, part2, part3. Part3 always have the latest data (maxvalue).

  I used to backup all tables (tables of partitions not) with part3 partition of the table data.

  Above scenario works very well.

  Problem in the following scenario is

  Now I must complete emptying the weekend and importation of partial discharge on the day of the week on DR.

  Full dump works great.

  When you import partial discharge I need partial import the latest data all tables (no partition) without distributing existing data (Part1, Part2 partition the data)

  APPEND Option doesn't work or not by adding new records to the table. Ignored his due to high error. since I have used EXCLUDE = option of CONSTRAINT as well.

  I tried to REPLACE the option that removes the existing partition data (part1, Part2) but my requirement is Part1, Part2 should not be removed from the table.

  Kindly guide me to resolve the above error.

  The line from the log file explains why

  "Data will be added to the existing table, but dependent on all the metadata will be ignored due to table_exists_action to append.

  "So even though the stats stuff are mentioned in its log file actually be skipped - it makes sense that you can load a single line in a table of 1 billion line - if you don't want the stats to say ' 1 row".  The statistics that you are just for what is in the dumpfile - they are not relevant for the existing table + dumpfile (in the general case anyway - "do you know" well stats are relevant as you truncated the table first).

  You could make yet another import after it and just include statistical =... to just make these statistics?

• Importing Photos lack a lot of photos

  When I plug my iphone to my MacBook Pro, the photos app appears to import the photos. Great, that's what I want! I want just all the picture files in a folder where I can connect to Picasa, which is at the same time a place I have backup source, etc. Duplicates doesn't bother me, but I don't want to miss anything.

  But when I go to the tab import, it shows my iphone but there are only 42 'News Photos' to import. My phone lists 610 photos under "All Photos". I would like to re - import all these to make sure that I don't miss any. I know that some are duplicates, I will sort that out later with other techniques. But I can not find only these 42 random photos that are new... where di the rest to go! The mac is restarted and phone has not changed anything.

  Where I have pictures imported from this phone previously is a complicated story. Probably I was confused at one point and abandoned a partial import, etc. (so many apps to try do.. photos, iphoto, sometimes iCloud, sometimes AirDrop,... oh my). And I certainly imported to a PC several times to clear the phone memory that I can't do it this time because of access restrictions on this computer. So that part is my fault.

  Is there a way to 'reset' what pictures are seen on this phone like new by Photos app? I google endlessly for this solution, which only seems to show solutions for the PC where I delete the .db files. But no solution, I saw worked for the mac and the memory becomes full.

  If I understand your post right, you are wanting to do a new import all photos on your iPhone to your Mac, so that even the pictures that have already been imported are imported again. I certainly understand wanting to make sure that you do not miss the photos and I'm happy to help you to do.

  It is not a way to reset the photos the Photos app sees it as 'new', but there is another way to get all your imported photos. The best way to do it is with Capture of Image instead of the Photos app. Take a look at the steps on how to do that here: Capture of Image: transfer images and other elements of your device after you have successfully imported your pictures from your iPhone, if you want to move to Photos on your Mac, you can do so by dragging the folder of photos from the Finder application to the pictures window.

• LR6 import all files on cf card

  In 3-4 weeks, I had a real problem is LR6 to import files. I always import directly from the CF card directly in LR using a 3 USB card reader and convert to DNG on import. I create a folder for import, for example, 100 photos in. All photos will be of the same meeting. All will be selected. LR began importing, then stops after a partial import, saying that "some specifications of import can be performed. I try to import again and it will import additional photos, but then again, not all. I tried two different card readers, a new, thinking that perhaps the reader had bent pins. Same thing. I tried different maps and different UBS 3 ports, try to eliminate the possible causes. It seems back to a glitch of LR. Also, it seems to me that she started after the last automatic update.

  Here are the screenshots of my import screen so you can see what is happening. I have not changed the settings on the Panel of import, other than the location of the backup of the second. Any help is appreciated.

• Missing spaces between words after you import the Word document in RoboHelp HTML version 8

  I created a document + 400 pages in Word 2007 and it imported in RoboHelp 8 (HTML, not RoboHelp for Word). Many places, the space between a bold Word and a word not fat is no longer there. I would like to avoid having to go through all of the HR document to replace the spaces manually. Not imported correctly?

  Seems perfect, works terribly...

  Things to consider:

  • Chances are, the different treatments of space are due to the question of if the space was included in bold the word in MS Word.
  • In addition, as Word files contain a large part underlying the binary code (macros and others), your security settings may or could be don't play well with the word stuff.
  • You import the Word file from a network location, or your local computer? Network traffic may be partially import impact, too.

  Bottom line? You will probably need to clear any formatting in the Word file and redo the formatting correctly. To test this, cut a few pages into a new Word file, clear and redo the formatting in Word, import file in another project HR the Word and see what results you get.

  To clear the formatting:

  1. Select text.
  2. On the home tab, in the group policy , click clear formatting.
  3. Redo formatting, making sure to do not format the spaces.

  As you can see from the following link error ORA-01438 is generally linked to a numeric column:

  So you might get a description of the Table:

  desc CHARGE_DISTRIBUTE;
  

  The offending column is probably one with a NUMBER data type.

  Next to the notice already posted, you can compare the data type of the columns in the Source and the target Table.

  As KarK says you should not use SYSTEM tablespace for the user data.

  If you can make after:

  Create new tablespace:

  Go to sqlplus and run (change the name, path, and a size suitable for you. You must have enough disk space for this new tablespace data file.) :

  CREATE TABLESPACE PETIT_FICHIER DATAFILE «TEST_TS_01.dbf» ' TEST_TS'

  SIZE 1512M LOGGING EXTENT MANAGEMENT LOCAL SEGMENT SPACE MANAGEMENT AUTO;

  Create a new user:

  Go to sqlplus and run (change the name and the password for you):

  CREATE PROFILE 'TEST_USER' USER 'DEFAULT' IDENTIFIED BY ' * ' DEFAULT TABLESPACE "TEST_TS".

  With the traditional exp and services public imp there is no option to export only the data. The DDL for the exported objects are always exported. However, you can choose to export only the DDL without data using lines = n parameter.

  You say that your import is only a partial import. How do I? What was missing? What were your exact import settings because your message is missing either full = y or the fromuser = touser = parameters that I expect.

  If you truncate all existing objects, and then run an import job with ignore = y on a dmp file created as an export of the user, then the object creation fails for all pre-existing objects, but the data will be laid. If you are unable to truncate the tables target first then the import will be slow because he has a lot of unique to the import constraint violation error. Another approach would be to drop the user and all objects (or just all user objects) prior to importation and leave import restore user and user objects.

  If you use a dmp full export file then you should do a fromuser = touser = import.

  One possibility is to do the filtering on the physical level itself. You could use a physical table of type 'Select' and filter the data.

  On my windows XP machine, I created a registry export file and checked the contents.

  On my windows machine 7, I imported the registry file and the system responded that the restore was successful.

  However, the registry has been * no * updated

  My only recourse would be to write an application that processes the file data and this is .reg to the registry via "registration".

  But it seems ridiculous to rewrite my own replacement for the import register code.
