partitions disappeared

I tried to solve a problem with the 'Other' partition and I accidentally erased the movies, audio, etc. of the partitions. Now all my storage appears in others. How can I fix this problem?

Or other, nor movies, audio, etc., are normally hard drive partitions.

Please describe carefully and that's exactly what you didm where and how you did.

  • Bootcamp partition disappeared after fdisk commands

    Hello

I have a serious problem caused by my own stupidity,

I tried to resize my partition, bootcamp, with no success, of course.

    Here is what happened,

I resized the MAC OS X partition and made a new 100 GB. Then I tried to restart Windows that did not work.

A black screen appears not saying no device found Boot... Insert and press a key.

I rebooted to mac OS X and searching the forums, I ended up find a thread of a few years.

He said try a few commands to disc, I did, it didn't work. Then I have a little "creative / reckless" and tried between the two commands.

I guess I deleted or seriously damaged my MBR, although it could be a TPG. I do not know.

Now, I can't see my Bootcamp partition in the finder.

I see the size of the partition in the disk utility application, if I look at the full hard disk partition scheme

It's the score 'Naamloos' is where bootcamp has been stored and as you can see I can't access it or what so ever.

However in the terminal, I can see the partition

My question is, if I can restore this partition?

And if not, I can see the data on that partition?

A lot of work not saved is there and final exams are almost!

I'm sorry for the post probably not correct 'according to the rules of the forums"and the faulty use of the language and the incorrect spelling.

She gave free space for this player and when I allocated space for a player, it was empty, but later I was positive to bring the data back with 80% recovery software...

Now, yesterday happened the same thing and this time the software recovery isn't yet able to return data only 10% data are back and even some files of them are corrupted...

can we know what is the reason to go by car?

    Hello

To be honest I have never heard of this show something like that's never happened to me and I didn t read all other threads like this.

Usually the partition should not be affected by installed applications.
In my opinion, this issue may be related to a HARD disk problem
The partition was perhaps not created correctly partition table has been damage.

However, I think you need to format the HARD drive again and it must recover in order to recreate the partitions.
Maybe this could helps avoid the problems of the others.

  • partition disappeared after upgrade to el capitan

tried to follow the steps detailed here:

but totally lost, I ran test drive but it does not show my windows partition.

Here is my SSD, the 188 is my OSX, the selected song was my windows partition and the other segment is free space.

It also doesn't let me delete the partition without TITLE by pressing the button.  What should I do?

In addition, when I run assistant boot camp he says this:

I also tried following these steps:

Step A. You have El Capitan, and so we must disable SIP.

    1. boot in local restoration (command-R).

    2. start utility-> Terminal.

    3. type csrutil disable in the Terminal, and then press enter/return.

    4. type csrutil State.

5 start normally, then type csrutil status to confirm that all of the individual entries are still disabled.

Step B. Correct the ability to boot MBR for Windows. Please ignore the i386 MBR error message, but not all the others.

    sudo fdisk e/dev/disk0

    There

Restart and check if you can see the files in the volume using the Finder and BC Volume. If you use system-> startup disk preferences, click the lock icon and choose Bootcamp and click on restart. If everything works normally re - activate SIP using allow csrutil and the method in step A.

    When I did:

    sudo fdisk e/dev/disk0

I arrived at this result which seemed weird so I stopped:

  • Partition Windows 10 disappeared after the installation of El Capitan

@Loner T - seems you have helped others on this question and hope you can help me through it too.  I have a MBP early in 2013 with a 500 GB SSD.  I allowed the upgrade to El Capitan, and like others, this is the boot camp partition disappear.   Holding the option key pressed when starting displays only the ability to boot into OS X.  Here's what I've done so far:

  • Bootcamp Partition is corrupted or missing.

    Hello

Update to windows 10 birthday and it seems that my bootcamp partition disappeared completely, I have a fusion of 2 TB drive (end of 2015 iMac) with partitions divided about 1 TB each. Bootcamp cannot see the windows partition more able to reclaim that space. OSX (10.11.6) works well however as a 1 TB fusion drive. Disk utility only sees the drive 1 TB as well.

Either way, I want to recover Windows, or reclaim space for OSX without a reinstall full Mac OS x if it is possible? (Will reinstall windows if I can reclaim space)

The startup disk cannot be partitioned or restored to a single partition.
