Pass the attribute in the Description of the User Interaction

When you add an item to the user interaction to the schema, is there a mechanism to allow me to set the text of description (Overview tab) such that it includes a workflow attribute?

Yep in the interaction user attributes just add the workflow attribute.

Then, under general description presentation add ${local_parameter_name}

    No saving necessary data and re-installing Windows Vista might be the best option, but here
    are a few others.

    You can save your files by putting the drive in another computer as a 2nd disk (best) or external
    Drive USB enclosure and then backup to removable media such as CD, DVD or other USB drives.
    Of course a real store of the computer or the manufacturer of your system can help to recover the files.

    Or you can use a boot Ubuntu CD to back up data.

    You can access Mode safe? Repeatedly press F8 as you start? If yes you can try Control Panel - device
    Manager - graphics card - Double click on - driver tab - click on UPDATE driver - then right click
    on devices and UNINSTALL - REBOOT.

    A method to try to get to the desktop (try in normal Windows Mode without failure) is CTRL +.
    ALT + DELETE - Manager tasks and tab process EXPLORER.exe and COMPLETE the PROCESS on this subject - and then
    on the Applications tab - lower right - new task - type in EXPLORER.exe. Safe mode is available by
    repeatedly tapping F8 as you start. CTRL + SHIFT + ESC also begins the Task Manager.

    Black screen problems are extremely difficult to repair and all patch is usually on a base hit or miss.
    That there is no information on a black screen as it is on a blue screen just adds to the
    Difficulty. Often using a restore point or Startup Repair will have no effect. You can try a
    Google to see the proposed repairs, whom some have worked however these cover a wide
    field efforts.

    You have a Vista disk? You can try restoring the system to it. If you don't have the disks your
    system manufacturer will sell them at low prices. Or try in safe mode if you can get there.

    CT is about PTools 8.49 and BEA_home is not under PS_Home, it would make everything about the difference in access to this user name?
    CT does not see the House under the envsetup (UNIX) BEA? How can they add that, to be part of the env? Maybe this could be one of the reasons...

  • Repeated failed installs Ko 977074, 978506, 978506. O/s of hanging in the journal began or pass the user's request.

    OK, here's my story:

    Windows 7 Home Premium, solid running, since 13/10/09
    History of failure of 974431 update that the next day, he managed without my taken part troubleshooting.  No complaints since more about 1 week ago got a BSoD outside no where while my child is on a restricted user account using IE.  Has not returned since, but suffice it to say.
    So now it's 26/01/10 and an update to install Windows Defender K915597 with success.  Cool deal.  It end tonight here and he says it is to install the updates and then stops.  Next day:
    1/27 - KB976972 failed
    1/27 - KB978506 failed
    1/27 - KB977074 failed
    1/27 - KB976972 failed
    1/27 - KB978506 failed
    1/27 - KB977074 failed
    1/27 - office Live add-in 1.4 successful

    See a pattern here?  So I should also mention that all of a sudden if I click log off or switch users while one of these updates says waiting and not pass/fail it hangs on Please wait... I waited about 10 minutes (normally it's about 10 seconds for the newspaper and immediate to change user) then have to restart the computer or force the feeding cycle.  So I decided to uncheck the Group of updates and just try one at a time through the automatic updates.

    More potentially useful data.  I have manually install a (977074), said she is successful and I want to reboot, Yes, please wait windows configuration, stops, comes up, please wait configuration updates, no error, log, look at the history of the update, says "pending" 977074 next, I reboot on mine, please wait windows configuration, stop , rises, please wait for configuration updates, UPDATES COULD not return changes, allows me to connect... She does it every time.
    So I think I'll just deselect all and hide updates, screw it right?  I don't really have the situations these difficulty going home anyway.  So all deselected.  No found update, green check in Windows doesn't update.  Everything is cool.  Stop this night here, please wait windows configuration, stops, appears, wait for updated configuration to update, UPDATES FAIL back.

    Then, run boot.

    Control Panel > appearance and personalization > screen saver > uncheck "On CV, logon screen", and then click OK.

    Also perform the following operations:

    Click Start and in the search box, type power options > click Power Options that appear at the top > click on Change Plan settings > select change Advanced Power Options and then select No for the option to require a password on the resume .

    Just create a button which is to submit a (not the redirect URL type and not type 'page of this application').

    Create a branch of the page that goes to the desired page and sets values on the page desitnation accordingly.

    As long as the Send button really sends the page, it should end up being updated with the new values of items in session state, and then they must be considered by the management of the page.

    I help develop a page for one of our courses at our school.  Is it possible that when you create a login form and authenticate on a new page that the user name also get sent to a recordset so that it can be used to fill hidden fields, to other forms on the new page?

    Yes. If you use the built in the behavior of connection DW, DW will put the user name in a session variable. Look carefully in the login code to see what we call this variable. If you use ASP this session variable is called MM_Username. In PHP, there is an equivalent, but I don't remember now how it's called. If the page with the recordset is to display only the data that user, filter the recordset on the username column by using the Session variable setting and enter the name of the session variable in the text box.

  • Narrative stops when the user interacts with the Interaction?

    I can understand why a training Interaction would cause the narration from a slide to stop him. However, after that the interaction is over, on the same screen, the interaction continues to play (after the user, click send).

    I was hoping someone knew how to be:

    (1) have the narrative continue to play, even if a user clicks through interaction (in this case, a basic drag and drop).

    Or (2) have the narrative does NOT restart after the interaction is completed (after the user clicks on the Send button).

    I suspect you meant after that as a question, not only as a discussion. This is the reason why I've changed status.

    Can you give us some more details, please? I suspect "narration for slide" you mean an audio clip that is inserted or recorded as audio slide? Normally once the beep begins to play it will not be stopped by pause normall of an interactive object such as a button, a form button, a click box, a text entry area or a widget/learning interaction interactive. What did you use as 'interaction '? The terminology can be confusing in Captivate: you also have static training Interactions. Depending on the version of CP you use (IE 9) used to pause the slide to its first image, it does not then the CP9, you will need to provide a break yourself by inserting an interactive object. That shouldn't prevent the slide to play audio. Only the command "Pause" everything stops on a slide: appearance of the objects that are subsequently the timeline and audio.

    I have a workflow as you can see in the attached picture. According to a user interaction that I would either like to redirect the user to another intervention by the user or cancel the workflow. I was hoping to do that with a script task, but I failed again. Is it possible to automatically redirect the user to this second user intervention? Otherwise, the user must click the link in the email again, which is very indirect.

    I think you could do a composite interaction and show/hide the presentation of 'second interaction' part based on decision criteria.
    And when you have finished the presentation, you make the decision to cancel or continue, or not based on the entry of user or what criteria.
    This is what I suggest, out of real-world context.

But when I run the script, it quietly exports the PDF with no dialogue at all.

    What Miss me? I get no interaction!

    I don't know, but it is possible that suppress the display of the export dialog box also removes the associated alerts.
