Pass the motherboards now I can't reactivated vista

I activated my copy of windows vista that I bought the computer I built, now the motherboard died, I bought a used motherboard and power switch, but I had to reinstall my copy of vista for the new Board of Directors and now it will not activate, how can I solve this

First, OEM System Builder licenses are only for people to build computers for sale to customers.  It has never been valid for end users to install a pack OEM on a computer for their own use, despite some people do it anyway.  A person who builds his own comptuter is a do-it-yourselfer and not a builder of such system as defined in the license of SB.  You have used the correct license by purchasing a copy retail Windows for your custom platform.

Second, the rule is that the Windows license can only be used on an installation of the software.  While it's in use on a single installation, it is valid.  Reinstallation on the same computer have any importance because a user has the right to maintain its system.  Wherever a license is activated on this same device under license, there is no restriction on the number of times.  It needs activation by telephone can only a function of how the technology of Windows Activation.  Has no direct relationship to be licensed.

In the case of the OEM licenses, activation is only valid on the computer, the license is here with that.  Specifically, the motherboard.  Licensing, the computer is defined as the motherboard.  Think of it this way: the OEM licenses are the property of the motherboard.  Retail licenses are yours.  That's why you can transfer a license to a different motherboard retail, but cannot transfer an OEM license.
