Password in the memoirs by Safari, but not Firefox

Hello

I wonder if you could help solve me the following problem. I recently got fed up with crashes and the Safari kept generating Rainbow balls and decided to switch to Firefox.

So far, it seems to be a good decision, but there is a question that still bothers me. There is a certain web page for which Firefox does not save my login information; He didn't ask me so I have to provide the info whenever I connect. I went to help and checked all the settings and password recording seems to work well for other sites, so I guess it's this specific site prohibit password saving. However, the password used to be saved by Safari without problem. It's not a big deal, but I'm just curious to know if there is a solution.

BTW, this is a central authentication site of https:// for a large University.

I really appreciate your help.

Best,
Aron

Some sites like PayPal, Yahoo, Windows Live, and bank sites use autocomplete = "off" to prevent Firefox to save and fill in the name and the password.

If a site uses autocomplete = "off" then look at this article for a bookmarklet to remove the attribute autocomplete and Firefox will provide store name and password.
