Passwords do not AutoFill
Hi all
My passwords are no longer 'auto fill' the login fields as they did.
Would it be the result of my setting Options/life private/Clear History when Firefox closes? In addition, in the Options/Privacy/settings/settings to clear the history options, I browsing history, download history, Cache, and Cookies checked everything.
Somehow, Miss me something...
Thanks in advance...

I have the master password, and he asked to join the splash screen. Other users can view my favorites by canceling the password prompt. I want some more to avoid seeing my favorites if they do not know the password
The master password is not intended to be used in this way.
The password is only intended to encrypt the names and passwords stored in the Manager password with a level of additional encryption.
The Congressman didn't block access to Firefox, if you get a prompt MP when starting Firefox, then you can cancel the command prompt and use Firefox normally.
Only, you cannot access the passwords (you will get an another guest to provide the MP if necessary). -
I backed up and restored Firefox but my passwords will not restore
I followed the instructions on how to back up and restore my Firefox profile (that I had to do after a full restore of the system), however, my passwords have not been restored. My Favorites are all here, but the "Saved passwords" box is completely empty. Is there a way I can restore?
Try creating a new profile as a test to check whether your profile is the source of the problem.
Copy the logins.json and signons3.txt in this profile to see if it works.See "create a profile":
- http://KB.mozillazine.org/Standard_diagnostic_-_Firefox#Profile_issues
If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a profile already used in the new profile, but be careful not to copy files corrupted to avoid transporting more problems.

my master password does not work, WHY?
I used my master password for quite awhile. Today when I put it in it does not work. HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN? I saw the the way to remove it, but then I lose about 28 login and password for all my financial sites. Why the P/W does not work? AND why would you if it can FAIL. Y at - it another way around this in addition to a total deletion of all my other passwords. I tried to restart my computer a couple of times to see if it would fix itself, but nothing helped.
Have you tried to close and restart Firefox or restart the computer to see if it have an impact?
What security (firewall, antivirus) software do you have?
If the MP password does not work and is not accepted if you get a prompt to connect to the software security device, then it is likely that the signons3.txt file got damaged or replaced by an older version.
You have a backup of files in the Firefox profile folder?

I don't know how I add my personal information (password and my yahoo in yahoo mail account name.)
Web sites can specify whether browsers should be able to save the name of user and password (through the AutoComplete = "off" attribute in the login form in the html source code) and many banks and webmails choose for this probably to increase security.
You can either install an addon or use a bookmarklet to work around this behavior.

Hi, this is a strange... I checked all the settings of security according to the related articles and my passwords should have saved. When I check my saved passwords, the list is empty. I'm being invited to confirm that I wish to save passwords, but when I click on the box 'Remember password' does not clear the dialog box. It seems that my confirmation is not really asserted, even if I'm clicking the button. I have just changed laptops and have imported my profile... I suspect a problem in this area, but I don't know what to try next. I hope you can help! Thank you

It is possible that there is a problem with key3db and signons.sqlite files that store the encrypted names and passwords in Firefox.
Rename signons3.txt and signons.sqlite files in the Firefox profile folder.
You can add .old files (key3.db.old and signons.sqlite.old) names or move them to another folder to make it possible to cancel the action.
You must define a new master password after renaming or removing the signons3.txt and all the currently saved passwords are lost.
If that worked, then you can delete the renamed files that are no longer needed.See:

My iPhone (and Mac) has recently started inviting me to enter my password of e-mail occasionally, even when my password has not changed. I always receive my email if I do not reintroduce. I sometimes take the message pop up on the home screen. It happens about once a week lately. I'm a little worried that so often on my iPhone. The same thing happens to my Mac too, but less frequently. I noticed that this happens for Gmail, email from work (Exchange) and iCloud, but not all other accounts. Potential virus?
Not necessarily
When the mail (especially sent) is rejected by the server - for some reason - server busy or too large attachment or even unstable connection - the first step is to ask for authentication
I would see if there is a model in terms of contacts or attachments that you can discern

I installed the latest version of Firefox on my laptop (Windows 7 Professional 64-bit). The thing is that firefox prompt to save passwords of websites. I'll explain you a little more away with an example: suppose I load www.gmail.com. When I login, the password manager key is displayed on the left side of the address bar, but the corresponding window which would ask if I want to save the password or not, does not appear. I tried all the possible solutions. It is true that when I restart firefox with disabled modules (safe mode), password manager works fine. But I don't really use Add-ons that could prevent firefox to save passwords. I disabled all add-ons and ran firefox in normal mode, but the password manager does not work yet. Please keep in mind that I tried everything and that any post not published so far describes a similar problem to mine case. Consider that I have the same I have configured the entire system from the beginning. The problem appeared again from the first time I launched firefox. At that time, I had not installed any antivirus software and there is no add-on with firefox. Hope someone can give me a valid solution...
