Patch files / 3GB

I try to clean my Mac hard drive and I got 3 GB + of"Patch files" that I can't tell what they are and if I can delete them.

I found SEVERAL issues on the discussion forums and would greatly appreciate a person to answer this question to Adobe?

Thank you

You can remove them, but be aware that this may cause problems with future updates when installers search for backup files, and they are not there... It is always better to leave those things alone.

She said that this update would allow my Sys OP to recognize an encrypted router WPA-2, which is how my work router is encrypted.

    HI Captben,

The patch file the Belkin tech was referring to can be found here.

  • 12.2.3 cloning - y at - there a step I'm missing? There is no patch file system context file

    Hello

Following the steps in note # 1383621.1, I can successfully clone and start the target system. When the clone is finished, the patch file system is empty (I do not see anywhere that told me to copy the side patch, that is an error on my part?). So I guess I would need to do 'adoption phase = fs_clone' on the target after the clone, but it fails with the message

Context file system PATCH file: /u01/oracle/PTCH/fs1/inst/apps/PTCH_jmisfindev/appl/admin/PTCH_jmisfindev.xml

ERROR: File not found specified context.

I'm missing something, can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Thank you very much

    Hi again,

You can still install, make sure just that take care you of your images, and your personal files and then go for the installation of Windows 10, 64-bit.

All you need to do to re-setup is to download the Adobe Creative cloud application and then you can install LR and PS since the Application itself.

No need to pay again, it will recognize your id and password and allow you to download the applications that you are already a member of the subscription.

  • Adobe Patch files

In my Applications folder, there is a folder that contains the application Adobe Helper and another folder called Adobepatchfiles. This folder is currently less than 1 GB. Can someone tell me what are these files, and if I need to keep?

    OOPS!

    Hi Simon,.

Do not delete the files in the AdobePatchFiles directory. Their presence is required for successful installation of all

    later patches.

In the case where you remove, the only way you will be able to apply a patch is by reinstalling the application first.

Please help, I got this message the last time, I downloaded and it crashed after an hour, how to solve this problem?

Without knowing the exact error message and correct technical info that no one can even guess. In any case, just run the cleanup tool and reinstall from scratch.

  • Why and when Microsoft Will release a file (s) Patch of system upgrade that will allow a 32 Bit OS system to a system of 64-bit operating system?

Why and when will be communicated to Microsoft, an upgrade or a system Patch File/s, allowing a system of 32-bit Windows (such as Windows 7) operating system, upgrade to an OS 64-bit (as Windows 8) system?

As for now, it is NOT possible to upgrade a 32-bit of the windows operating system like Windows 7 or Vista or XP, so that the latest operating system (such as Windows 8), but what I want to do is install (once it is released into the public domain), Windows 7 32-bit to 64-bit Windows 8.

This situation will be resolved with time, prior before NEXT new operating system release date of microsoft.

    Thank you.

    Chris...

I wouldn't hold my breath.  What you CAN do is to make a new partition and install Windows 8 or another 64-bit of the system on it.  It is not hard to do, and with huge hard drives that have modern computers, there are usually lots of disk space to do so.

  • 12.2.3 - PATCH and RUN file editions.

We have completed the installation of a 12.2.3 system, migrated the DB to a split (by directive mgmt) platform architecture... applying any necessary patches etc...

This question has to do with the files .env on the run and editions of patch - which are created during installation and recreated whenever autoconfig is performed.

Each host EBS, I have a small script that sets the env whenever an Admin user connects as APPLMGR.

This script was always pointing/u02/fs1 file system (which was created initially as the RUN file system)

After application of patches and adoption running with the "switch" command, it's understandable, file systems get switched.

Should I then spend the .env file in the file .profile applmgr each time to point to file editing to run - esp, start-up, etc...

    Thank you

Instead of switching env file each time that you run "failover" use the "EBSapps.env" script that will ask for the file approx.

  • Rebuild the file system of the patch in Oracle Apps 12.2.3

I worked on a test environment for applications Oracle 12.2.3, mainly in the field of the adoption. I encountered an error executing adoption phase = prepare and adopt phase = fs_clone.

I have followed this issue down to missing files in the fs2 (edition patch) file system. In fact, almost everything is missing, including the APPL_TOP directory. I think I deleted the patch directory while fixing other problems encountered when executing adoption.

Is it possible to delete the file system obsolete runtime adoption before there was a chance to populate the new file system? For example, during a session of correction your patch won't install or start-up, so you give up the file system and run adoption phase = cleanup_mode = full cleaning.

Is it possible to rebuild the fix file system by using adoption? I thought it was a possibility, but have been unable to use adoption do that because he fails to run. Running adoption phase = prepare will fail because of missing files in the stage of publishing and adoption = actualize_all patch will fail because it cannot work if it is not in a fixed cycle.

    Thanks in advance!

We discovered that it was. We have several test environments on our servers, and each has its own oraInventory in oraInst.loc. A change has been made to the oraInst.loc and is no longer, he pointed to the locations needed oraInventory. This caused adoption phase = fs_clone to fail because he could not find the correct houses. You can replicate this at any time by changing the phase adoption oraInst.loc and race = phase fs_clone or adoption = prepare. Once us returned to the correct oraInventory, fs_clone worked and populated the directory correctly, automatically. There is no mention of this requirement in the documentation, so we had lot to track down the problem.
