12.2.3 cloning - y at - there a step I'm missing? There is no patch file system context file

Hello

Following the steps in note # 1383621.1, I can successfully clone and start the target system. When the clone is finished, the patch file system is empty (I do not see anywhere that told me to copy the side patch, that is an error on my part?). So I guess I would need to do 'adoption phase = fs_clone' on the target after the clone, but it fails with the message

Context file system PATCH file: /u01/oracle/PTCH/fs1/inst/apps/PTCH_jmisfindev/appl/admin/PTCH_jmisfindev.xml

ERROR: File not found specified context.

I'm missing something, can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thank you very much

-Adam vonNieda

I found the steps that I missed, do not take into account...  Just need to RTFM a bit closer...

  • Lookout 6.6 - login error: there is no security file

I am trying to run the Lookout 6.6 evaluation. It loads fine, I get a message saying that it is running the evaluation version. I press OK to clear this box and opens a window to logon. It is completed with the default settings, Administator, local doman, no password. I click on login and it gives me the error that is in the subject line, there is no security file.

I read here that the lookout.sec file does not exist in the System32 folder. In this case, I found it and it's there.

I try different usernames, I took the .sec file and copied in various places: windows folder and the program root folder - obviously, there was no effect. I tried modifying the lookout.ini file to remove the log on information to see if it cleared (even deleted the file to see if it works), but does not. I also tried to reinstall the program, but there is no uninstall button - windows program removal tool may not even remove, change or repair the program. I ran the installation a couple of times as well.

Anyone know what I can do?

    Here's what I'm running:

    (I bought this computer today)

    X 64-bit of Windows 7 Home Premium

    4 GB of ram

    hard drive 500 GB

It is very minimal, because the entire computer is intended to do is run this program and replace the Lookout 5.0 computer was running (mobo got fried).

-Let me know if you have any suggestions.

Understand how to uninstall. After having done that and reinstall it seemed to work. Do not know why.

  • Is there a later patch that will allow face with XP + SP3 Win 7 to XP to display on the network map?

    WindowsXP-KB922120-v5 - x 86 - ENU.exe

I recently tried to install this update WindowsXP-KB922120-v5 - x 86 - ENU.exe on a XP Home SP3 system http://support.microsoft.com/kb/922120/en-us + so that my Win 7 PC could properly recognize the XP PC on the network card. I saved the XP HD package and then he ran, but he advised that my XP system is a newer version and so the update was unnecessary and not installed. The network is wired, and both systems can see well that there are certain permissions I need to sort out the XP PC to access files Win 7. I tried to solve KB922120 by reading the online forum and have read most of the questions but no remedy to this problem.

  • I am wanting to sort a walk down to the granular level and there are folders with files, etc.. Is there a product on the market that can do this?

    Original title: walk sorting

I am wanting to sort a walk down to the granular level and there are folders with files, etc.. I am wanting to sort by date created or modified. Is it possible to set the entire disk for all files without having to open each indvidual folder for a list, or is there a product on the market that can do this?

Sorting all of the drive is not possible. Perhaps, it can be done by another program I'm not aware of.

  • When I try to uninstall a program, it is said there is no implementation files, what to do next

I have several programs that don't work, when I try to uninstall it says that there is no configuration file and cannot be deleted. I'm trying to uninstall clean and even this will not work. What should I do now?

In fact, it was already too late.  My computer was fried by easing 2 days before the problems started, and I didn't know it.  When I turned it on to once again try everything I got was black screen with the installer on this subject, went nowhere.  He was disconnected too!  I now have a brand new computer. I tried to uninstall through Control Panel.  They were the programs that I had used for years.  Even my program spotmou and backup have been unable to do anything.  Thank you very much for your help, now I have to learn my new computer.  Chris

  • BDP-S580 - "there are no playable file".

I have a Blu - Ray Sony BDP-S580 player. Version of the software is up-to-date: M07. R.06381. it is connected to my network servant gigabit.

I am so he could broadcast my MP3 collection from my PC, also on the network. The PC is Windows 7 family Premium and Windows Media Player 12. I implemented streaming in Media Player and I see the Blu - Ray player in the menu options of streaming.

On the Blu - Ray, I see the PC in the menu and when I switch it to music, I can go through all the media player music files - so I know not network connectivity works, and I know that streaming works partially because I can see all the folders.

However, all the folders are empty: I see no MP3s. All I see is the message "There are no playable file".

    What I am doing wrong?

    Thanks in advance.

Remember first time XBR music selection since it begins in video. Then you get off of here. If you get off of videos you will get this error.

  • My Gateway computer crashed after an indication there is a corrupted file and system restore disks must be used. We have never done their... What would be the way cheaper and easier to get this computer working?

It started when my laptop was having problems (Vista 64 bt).  It's less than a month and the motherboard consumed.  If we use our Gateway desktop model that has Windows XP.  I found my laptop and tried to connect it to the radio.  Desktop just completely crashed.  He said there was a corrupt file and I should reinstall windows.  I'm disabed and I tried to read the instructions and use the F10 or F11 key but I couldn't do anything.  I entered the manual to find these virgins back up discs.  I bought a Dell, one month before and all disks are there... we had nothing to do.  I hate to admit that we did not open the manual.  I read that you can get the readers or the manufacturer's cd.  What is the best way.  I will have surgery soon and I can not contact with people because of my immune system for months.  I have a 14 year old who lives on the computer and take care of his Webkinz.  I have to fix this!   Thank you

Contact Gateway to purchase recovery discs. It won't be cheap. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • When you try to save all files on the C drive in Windows 7, get the message "There are no more files"

I get this when I try to save all the files on my C drive. I am the only user on this laptop. It's windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

So far, I've checked for viruses using 5 different scanners, check permissions, the usual stuff, but I still get it. The funny thing is if I right click on my desktop and click New txt Document that market I can type this in and click on save, but if I click Save under and rename I save as: there are no more files. BTW I free 350gbs, also tried chkdsk/r

If you use a Comodo cleaner, which can also cause problems on Win7 64-bit. Uninstall, it helped me - problem solved! But in your case, try to understand if you have installed new software just before the fancy 'there no more files"- message began to appear. BTW, also I had BIG problems since "save under" did not work in one of my programs office to paint...

  • DISABLE "there is already a file with the same name to this place.

Window 7. 64 bit. How do you turn OFF DISABLE, CANCEL, DELETE, STOP the pop-up 'MOVE the FILE'?

As a user since the days of DOS command lines and having had a routine all the way through to XP, this new window is one of the most annoying pop ups for an experienced user. If it isn't a swith toggle check box or an other power selection for this message, there must be. And if there is, you did it quite hard to find.

The dialog box that appears in Windows 7 that starts with "there is already a file with the same name to this place. It lists then the three choices - "Copy and replace", "Do not copy" and "copy, but keep both files.

I managed several libraries of forms which oblige me to replace the files throughout my day. I make a copy of the file I replace first of all, for archival purposes and this pop-up box is, well, it's boring. There must be a way to disable.

This box comes up to move files and to copy the files.

Any help in these turn off would be appreciated.

    See you soon.

  • Save the error file - "There are no more files" and much more...

I tried to solve this problem for a while. I ran malware scans and analyses antivirus, restored my HARD drive to an earlier point all to nothing does not. I used this thread as a reference and nothing helps: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-files/there-are-no-more-files-save-error/6f926ece-be28-429f-b09f-4e66a37148c9

Another question, I noticed is that when I open msconfig it comes up with an error dialog box indicating: «a problem has been experienced during the processing of the manifest file of the custom tools (C:/Windows/system32/MSCFGTLC.» XML). Please check the file to find errors and that all should tools appear. »

I use AVG for my anti-virus and Comodo for my firewall. If there is any other information I can give you, please let me know.

Well I did some more research and found the question - ASUS data security manager. I uninstalled it and my problems went away. I don't know why that was the problem it is installed on my computer since day one and I got it for almost four years now. I hope this helps people to question.

Well we are all learning, sometimes doing unwise things :(

If you can not use a restore point, and the moving process simple origonal location cannot be done.

I would like to copy your files to external data, make sure that you have the keys that can be required for programs, then start with a win clean installation, deleting all partitions during the process, and then using the entire disk for C space.

You can different circumstances redirect your libraries only to another drive, other than C.
