  All I want to do is have a while loop in which, for the purposes of illustration, I have the 'random number from 0-1' function on the inside, and I want to be able to pause and resume this help from a button. There are a few other posts on the forum that are very similar and do use "event structures. The problem I encounter is that I can get the genarator random number to start the generation but the break will not stop this!

  I have the feeling that I made a stupid mistake - but I can't understand or google my way out the problem! I enclose my solution so far!

  I am creating a module and would like a pause and resume button. In this way the user looks at a module be able to suspend and then be able to click on the button to view the module where they left (similar to the Conrol + P when you CREATE a piece in Authorware). The training module will consist of a timer (wait icon), so if they do not click on the pause button it will continue on the next page.
  
  I have currently a problem to have the button resume. It is for the button back to play since, when I click on the pause button.

  In Adobe Download Assistant, next to the progress bar, you will find a pause button quite small.

  If it does not automatically start, click the same button and it should begin where it left off.

  Hi Joe!

  I spent some time thinking about it and I realized that you can technically use a fundamental mission of the analog output, as you previously wrote that runs continuously. However, the generated output samples are controlled by the sample clock pulses, and can be manipulated to fit our needs "suspension."

  To do this, we will need another counter task that generates a pulse train (see our examples of shipping under material input and output > DAQmx > generating digital pulses > generate dig Pulse Train - Continuous.vi) that stops and starts the user to choose. This can be in another quite VI or controlled by software. We will use this as the task of our output sample clock.

  Then, the task of the AO, wire a constant to the sample clock source and select ' DevX/CtrXInternalOutput"based on the counter that you specified in the task of counter. You will need to choose "I/o name of filtration" and check the box that says "include advanced terminals' and right-click of the constant. See picture attached as a reference. In this way, the task of the AO is constantly running, but it generates only actually all data when the meter running task.

• ActiveX: Open a separate window of Windows Media Player 9 and control playback

  I'm trying to open a video in WMP4 automatically in Labview and control. There is an existing ActiveX container, but it remains on the front panel. I can control its playback, but can not pause and resume.

  I can also open the video in a window outside of LabView through Labview WMP9, but I was not able to control. Simply run it and then watch until it ends. It is the preferred operation, I need to understand.

  LabView version: 8.6

  ActiveX application: Windows Media Player 4

  OS: Windows XP

  My questions are:

  (a) how to pause and resume a video file, if you use the ActiveX with LabView container ensures

  (b) how could I access an instance outside WMP open through LabView playback controls (because I want to automate reading based on acquired signals)

  Note that the ActiveX refnum is WMP4 while the version on XP is WMP9.

  There are questions about the compatibility of Windows 7 and DMA (as a few years ago). Linksys/Cisco, it has been verified that it is NOT officially supported. But some do work but not at full capacity. Hope that this would settle the question whether it is supported or not.

  I have showing graphic problem of the band. I created the x-axis in continuous mode.

  He did not always but sometimes watched table break and resumed again with gaps.

  If I watched carefully, the values in the chart change very slightly. But axis label X does not change and graphic band is not moving to the left to display the new data.

  The CPU usage is looked OK. I think that it happenes more often for fixed data.

  If you are comfortable working inside the case, it is possible that something got its place potted during shipping.
