So I bought the new laptop (hp pavilion 15-p153nm), in the shop where I bought it says that this laptop have two memory slots, so I buy the new 4 gb ddr3 ram card and wanted to put in the free memory slot, but when I opened the laptop that I couldn't find free one slot... so my question is where is this second slot... I use other products (printers and laptop computers HP etc.) for 10y and if this is an hp error and they didn't put the second slot in this notebook, I'll be very disappointed.
And yes I find manual for this laptop, I opened this laptop from this manual and he drew two memory cards but its all is said about memory cards. I have pictures of the laptop and everything and I will put them here.

    Configuration software Specy

It says that I have a free slot? but I still don't see.

Now I'll put pictures of the laptop inside

    under the keyboard

Other side of the main card

    Under the motherboard

So pls help me to solve this mystery of the second memory slot.

And sry for my English isn't my main language.

TNX for helping me. Good bye

There is no second slot of memory in this model specification.

You need to replace the module installed with a capaity module above uppgrade the memory capacity.

On the three t pageit the manual describes two locations only on some models. It does not describe what models they are.

  • Qosmio G15 - slot how much RAM I have?

I have a lot of research and do not know how many slot RAM I have? 2 slots for the 4GBx2 or 4 slots for 2GBx4. I'm planing to upgrade my G15 for max 8GB but I first need to know how many slots RAM G15! Thanks for the help!

European Qosmio G10 is known to me and I guess it must be the same as your Qosmio G15.
It has two slot under the memory of the memory cover.
Check the underside of your laptop and remove the small cover in the middle and check how many locations is inside.

Update 8GB will not work. You old enough laptop and none of the old laptops can be upgraded with 8 GB of RAM. G10 can scale up to 2 GB and compatible module is PA3313U-1M1G.

To make sure that check the specification of the laptop of your laptop. If you have laptop model visit http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/su/su_sc_modSel.jsp

  • 2011 15 "Macbook pro more low ram slot machine does not work. 3 beeps every time I start up my Mac.

    Hey guys,.

Then Ive met this weird problem with my mac. While I was using the Mac at work for like 4 hours without interruption and then when it was time to go home, I just put the screen down and put the Mac to sleep. When I opened the Mac at home, he started with 3 beeps and it wouldn't start.

After having panic for like half an hour, so I decided to take google on this issue. I found many queries, but nothing like mine. So I opened the back panel of the Macbook, deleted the two Rams and re-sitting (like one of the posts on google said to do) twice but it still did not work. I took off the piston down and tried to turn on a single cylinder high and it worked.

A bit of history, Apple had this quality control program where all 2011 Macbook pros affected by a defective video card can have their logic boards changed for free by taking it to apple. My macbook was one of them and apple genius guys changed the logic board. Long and behold, after six months the lower slot of Bank ram has stopped working. My question is, can I use the Apple since its only six months, and if I order a new Board of the logic on their part, what are the chances that this will not happen?

Any past experiences you guys could share to help me would be greatly appreciated.

My question is, do I use with apple since its only been six months

This is a user to user forum.  We are not employees of Apple.  Some users like you.  You will need to ask your question directly from the horses mouth.

Call Apple Customer Relations - 1-800-275-2273.  Ask politely and firmly that you want to transfer to customer relationships.  Tell them exactly what you said in your post.  See what they can do for you!

    Good luck!

If I order a new Board of the logic on their part, What are the chances that this will not happen?

A good fortuneteller adventure can answer this one!  FWIW, I had mine replaced guarantee also that extended repair program had expired for FREE3 or 4 years ago.  My MBP 2008 is till going strong.

  • How to find RAM on Satellite Pro M40x slot?

    Hi all

I spent my entire day to find a built in RAM to replace with 1 new but unfortunately and unfortunately I can not find built-in RAM.
I removed the keyboard, but there is that wireless card that I see here. Apartment for her I can't RAM. Can someone help me to replace my RAM please?

    Thank you

As much as I know that some laptops have one slot for expandable RAM and it is downstairs under the cover of RAM. Another module is always placed under the keyboard. On your portable computer must be the same.

The wireless network card must be placed in the Middle, but RAM is probably on the left side. It is perhaps in the small plastic (not fixed with screws). Check it out.

  • P7 - 1010t cto Pavilion: upgrade of processor and RAM memory

I wonder if the upgrade to a faster processor and the RAM imcreassed will provide significant performance and practice

Yes, but you must consider a few things first.

RAM, if you currently have one slot of occupied RAM then add more RAM to fill all the slots does two things for you, it increase the bandwidth to access RAM and what is obvious, give you more memeory for your applications and reduce disk swapping.  Increase the bandwidth for RAM access ceratinly will provide a performance gain just by itself.

Upgrade the processor is debatable and depends largely on what you use your PC for.  If you simply run email and web browsing then probably an upgrade is useless, but if you run several CPU intensive tasks then a processor upgrade help. Processor intel celeron and pentium are core, i3 range are dual core and the i5 and i7 are four hearts.  Simply the best kernels if you run intensive taks and i5 and i7 processors support the turbo boost, which means carrots redundant can kick in to increase the speed of these processors according to demand.  Hyper-threading (with several processes running in parallel) is also supported by the i7 (maybe some processors i5 as well).

  • HP EliteBook 8740w p/n VB744AV: Base model with only 2 RAM slots does not level up to 8 GB of RAM, 6 GB only?

So I discovered that my laptop is a version of the basic model of the Elitebook 8740w so I'm missing 2 RAM slots. However, I went to upgrade my RAM from 4 GB to 8 GB the other day, and after ensuring all the RAM was split and firmly fixed my laptop would only flicker the lights indicating that my ports were dirty, RAM was split in correctly or I ordered the bad RAM sticks (which I didn't, I double checked). So I have of the 4 GB split into the slot of the RAM under the keyboard and replace one of the original 2 GB sticks in the other RAM more accessible location at the bottom of the computer. Laptop started fine. I'll try the RAM slot again later tonight when I get home from work, but if anyone has any experience with this issue, I'd love to hear corrections or explanations on what I can do wrong.

I also want to note that I checked the specifications of the computer and it says that it should support the 8 GB of RAM or more. However I do not know if this is a generalization of the product since it usually comes with 4 vs slots of RAM upgrade only the 2 I have in my laptop.

Quad Core versions have 4 RAM slots and Dual Core 2 slots. Max 32 gig and 16 gig respectively. Try the reslotting and let us know how it goes. 8 concerts must be OK, assuming that compatible. If the problem persists, please provide the manufacturer for both modules reference numbers.

  • I've updated my Ram in my Acer Aspire 5532 3 GB to 4 GB and it shows that I use only 2 GB and I have an empty slot

I've updated my Ram in my 5532 Acer Aspire from 3 GB to 4 GB and
When I run a check on my computer using my Norton 360 it shows
I have 2 GB and I have an empty slot for the ram, but I have a 2 GB

Make sure that the RAM module is installed correctly.

If you are running Windows 7 32 bit, you can recognize 3.2 GB of RAM.

  • ITL and the number of entries in a slot

    Hello

It is my understanding, when a transaction wants to block a line, it first finds a space (if available) in the ITL, put her in that transaction id and the rowid and then set a flag in the row header. So far so good.

Now the same transaction wants to block another line. It would add the entry to another location ITL, or would it simply just add an another rowid in the same niche that she?

    Thank you

    Dear OracleGuy!

The following steps take place, if a transaction blocks lines:

(1.) the transaction is looking for a free slot in the ITL and wrote his transactionID in this slot.
(2.) the transaction wrote his ITL slot number in the header of the lines that should be locked so that each rowheader points to the ITL slot that belongs to your transaction.

Please take a look at this:

1 Itl Xid Uba Flag Lck Scn/Fsc

This is a dump of an Oracle block. The number of lines 2 and 3 show the ITL. In the number of line 2, there is a committed transaction (flag = c - C) and the number of line 3, there is a transaction running. Number of the ITL-Slot 2 is identified with 0x02. Now please look at line number 24. lb means Lockbyte and she has the value 0 x 02. This means that this line is stuck in the slot of ins transaction 0x02. The same thing will happen to each row that is locked through this transaction.

    Here's the manual.

    Manual

Although the name seems different (250 G4) model is in fact your manual. Start on page 39. You must remove this cover as one large room. It is not terribly hard to do. It is not technically supposed to be done by an end user and keep the warranty. I have some people get mad at me at this stage, but I did not design what I'm just telling you how to do what you asked about. Match as much as possible the existing module. Pay attention to the density, the number of black blocks used to build the module. If you have 4, get another module as it even if you have 8. Ideally find another identical module, but I know that it is not always easy. Memory is inexpensive right now and it is not a bad idea to just buy a pair of identical modules to be sure of the 100% compatibility.
