  You already have the best processor that can fit on your motherboard which is an AMD version.   The processor can be improved in this particular notebook. If you go to page 91 in the maintenance manual , it will give you a list of processors and it will show you the steps to do it yourself. I don't know what your current status of security with this laptop, but if you are still covered the upgrade of the processor warranty this I just want you to be aware.
