  I bought a HP pavilion m6 1002-tx win7 Home Premium 64 - bit two weeks back. (November 30, 2012)

  I am not able to connect my ethernet lan because the system loses the connection just as I connect to the adapter. Its continually go... like... ID disconnected... identify... disconnected... and so on.

  It is a Realtek PCIe GBE family controller (Version: 7.54.309.2012). I checked the Ethernet driver lan on the hp support site and it is even installed on my system.

  Please help me solve this problem.

  Check if the connection is really good. Other laptops are able to use this ethernet cable? Try to change the speed and duplex to 10/semester, it will be useful.

  I also find that this unit L40-137 has been delivered with the Atheros 802.11 g Wlan (XB63L) card information.
  In fact, you won't find the Linux drivers on the Toshiba driver page because Toshiba does not support Linux officially ;(

  I see only one way. You must googel for a driver compatible Wlan supporting the 802.11 chip (XB63L) g from Atheros.

  I recently bought this laptop (HP Pavilion F035ND 17) with win8 pre installed.
  Because of the limitations of the software of my school I can't use win8.

  So, naturally, I downgraded to win7 and installed everything that I needed.

  But I have problems with 2 drivers, driver Bluetooth and WLAN driver.

  Bluetooth does not correctly connect, and the WIFI network is extremely slow.

  My driver software says I need drivers Broadcom for each of them, but HP downloads provide only Intel or Realtek.

  The material is really Broadcom? I know my way around computers and I searched the whole web.

  Bluetooth doesn't bother me that much, but I really need the WLAN drivers!

  I have the same motherboard in my PC and it is not a problem with Windows 7 64 bit.

  Other devices that you mentioned will require that you go to the web site of the manufacturer and look for the drivers and support Windows 7 64.

  Check your CD/DVD drive for a firmware update before you convert them to WIndows 7.

  Check your PC for a bios update before you convert them to Windows 7.
