  Three days of warranty expirition my HP Pavilion 500 turned off and will not start.

  I understand that your desktop computer keyboard work correctly, and that this problem occurs with more than a keyboard. I'd be happy to help you in this case!

  This problem occurs if you start your computer in Safe Mode? Your keyboard is connected to a PS2 or USB port?

  In the meantime, I recommend that you follow the steps described in this document on the wired keyboard (Windows 8) troubleshooting. This should help to correct for non-response of your keyboard.

• 500-320 Pavilion: Pavilion 500-320 CD does not open

  I searched for an answer but did not find one for my computer. If I missed it, please forgive my control.

  I upgraded to W10 this month, but the problem that predates. I put a CD in the drive and closed. He has not played, and then I could not open again disk. This happened months ago. I have been using an external CD/DVD drive. I finally decided to tackle the problem.

  I saw something that said there was a hole in the drive and we could straighten a paper clip and stick it in the hole. I tried a hole but did not find.

  Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! It's a good place to find the help you need, so many other users, the HP experts and other members of the support staff. I understand that your DVD drive does not open properly. I'm happy to help you with this.

  Please see the following document. It does not include the method of release the tray using a paper clip or a small screwdriver key or alan. It shows some of the places where the exit is. There are others, in general, looking for a small hole or a notch in the chassis under the tray.

• Pavilion 500 series: printer does not complete the print job & error message

  Got a HP Deskjet 2542, but recently bought a new HP, Pavilion of the 500 series desktop computer.  When you try to print a document that is located at 3 pages, it will print the first page, and then part of the second page, then an error message appears.  Went to the HP troubleshooting & tried everything, but nothing seems to fix the situation.  Any ideas or suggestions?

  I need a little more information to give you the best course of action.

  What is you receive the exact error message?

  Without this error message, I suggest trying a free tool called HP Print and Scan doctor to diagnose and troubleshoot printing problems. I recommend you to download and run the HP print and Scan Doctor, if she doesn't fix it automatically let me know what errors or messages that you receive.

  You can always try to uninstall the printer software and then by downloading new firmware for you printer. Click on this link to get the all-in-one HP Deskjet 2540 Printer series full feature software and drivers.

I have activated the key online Board that also does not work. because my hp utility cd has been damaged, I changed my OS to windows 7 key board ultimate .the rest is notworking .then I used a USB key Board that works also do not. main problem is that I couldn't filled my Os Installation with to enter the pc name.   I understand that your laptop keyboard does not work, and that your alternative keyboard does not work as well. I'd be happy to help you in this case!

  As your drivers available of the system does not contain the keyboard for Windows 7 drivers, I recommend you to get a drive recovery to re - install Windows Vista on your system. This can be done by following this document on getting a HP recovery disks or USB HP recovery disc.

• 500 t - 205 CTO Pavilion: xD card reader does not work

  I have a brand new desktop CTO 500 t - 205 of Pavilion, with Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. It is running well, except for the reader of card on the front of the machine. I use a 2 GB Olympus xD card. When the card is inserted, the led lights up for about 10 seconds, then turns off. Windows Explorer does not see the card and I can't find it in the Device Manager.

  A version of HP 8 BIOS is not available for your PC.  You will need to get a graphics inherited as a NVIDIA GTX 4xx, 5xx or 6xx. The NVIDIA GTX 660 TI is your best choice. I suggest you also improve the power supply to a 600-650 watt as the Corsair CX600 or CS650m model.

  On some machines, the pilot for 11 series IMEI has been known to cause that kind of question of the judgment, so it may be worth trying an earlier version.

  You can use the following method to install an earlier version of the driver IMEI.

  Download driver IMEI on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

  Disable your wireless card (should be f12 ).

  Open your download folder and run the installer - it warns you that it is an earlier version, but simply continue.

  When finished, restart the laptop.

  If the computer shuts down correctly, turn on your wireless adapter and use the utility on the following link to prevent Windows 10 to update automatically the driver IMEI again.
