Pavilion ak010nr: I want to just get rid of windows 10 and return to wind 7
Hello world
I just bought HP Pavilion 15 ak-010nr games. She has windows 10 installed on it which doesn't work wonders for me. Infact, I'm sick of my new laptop and windows 10. I had high hopes for her, but in vain.
in any case, I'm trying to go back for win 7 by starting the Win OS 10. Thanks to UEFI, this is not the case or you can say that I am not able to remove it. When I try to start using the UEFI boot sequence, USB key is not displayed
When I try to start using MBR, well, my HARD drive is a GPT, it can noy intsaller win 7 in it. If I use disk management utilities, I have to let go of my partition to restore windows if somehow, I choose to use "clean disk".
so my question is how to install windows 7 withot (UEFI or MBR) lose my window 10 recovery partition?
Otherwise, I'll get sick in the coming days
Read what REO51ST just you tell the reason why you can not get or go to Windows 7. And if you want to go even Windows 7, then you will have to buy the product key for Windows 7 and find all the drivers of each individual material components in the laptop, assuming that they they have drivers for Win7.

How can I get rid of Windows 7 and go back to XP - win7 is undesirable software incompetent
I've been using win7 for several months. This software is absolutely hostile user. It was a lousey experience. On the first day, the transfer of file file system messed up all my file from my old machine systems. I can't find things on the control panel - device driver - search functions file - everything which is rather well established since win 3.1 looks now like a block of lead tied to my ankles. Designed, documented in a suitable way for geeks only, and not the average user of semiskilled... I don't have the patience for this nonsense.
"Designed, documented in a suitable way for geeks only and not the average user semi-skilled."
It's funny you should say that. Monopoly$ often tried in fact their toughest excessive Windows
for the 'average' user, but somehow they have actually managed to make it more complicated.
There is always and will always be a couple of things that I hate about Win7, my pet hate is not
able to turn off the reorganization in the records. Although there is a solution for this, it can be a little awkward
to use as you can hide folders/files if you accidentally drop it another folder/file on top of it.In addition to the suggestions of Cameron - for that old time feeling you can also use
Windows Classic view (simple R/click on the desktop and select "Personalize" from the context menu).
Still, I prefer this and do not use the libraries either.A good feature is that you can "pin" folders to the icon in Windows Explorer in the taskbar,
so I pinned my account username as well as my other most often used records here.
To do this, you just use the option ' send to ' and send a shortcut to the records in question to
the desktop computer. Then, just drag and drop this icon WE shortcut.
Right-click for a list. You can make only a limited number of shortcuts here though.

While Win8 also attracts a lot of hate from PC users due to its user interface. MS apparently decided that if Win8 will not be the new Dodo Vista they will have to bend to the pressure of the user and release a new version - 8.1 with a friendly user interface more PC. Intel has even designed their new processor around 8.1 to win.

How to get rid of Windows 8 and replace it with Windows 7
I bought my HP Pavilion laptop G6 in December 2012, when all the they had was Windows 8 machines. So I thought I would give it a try. Well, I have 8 months now and I still hate Windows 8 . I want to replace it with Windows 7, the latest stable known operating system launched by Microsoft. But I heard that recent material doesn't have even a device to support Win7 drivers.
Is there something I can do?
Thank you
-ken
Hi Ken,
There is no reason that you should not be able to install and run Windows 7 on your laptop.
While it is true that HP provide no Windows 7 drivers for machines shipped with Windows 8, you should always be able to find all the relevant Win 7 drivers, you will need.
What is the complete model number and your notebook series g6 Nr? -See here for a guide to the location of such information.
Kind regards

I need to get rid of windows 8.
I bought a HP Pavilion all-in-one Windows 8, not a touch screen. I hate windows 8. I'm a typist. I spend more time trying to find/load a program that I'm using a program. I don't like these tiles running all the time. My computer is slower than my OLD Vista I had before this one. Can I get rid of windows 8 and install windows 7 without all these tiles? I'm NOT a gamer, do not load the music or videos, not on social media other than email. I want to just do my job and not be disturbed by this thing to know. HELP me before I throw this expensive useless computer at the door.

My real opinion: the system back and get one with Windows 7 pre-installed. Yes. They exist.
Otherwise...
Make sure that the manufacturer supports the system in question with Windows 7 (with drivers and software download for Windows 7).
Get (probably buy) Windows 7.
Install Windows 7.
Install Windows 7 drivers for the hardware.
Install all the software you need / use it.
Update, patch, etc.

How can I get rid of windows 7 without deleting it and istalling a different operating system?
How can I get rid of windows 7 without deleting it and istalling a different operating system? I remember on xp, I couldn't allow him to function as a windows 95 or 98, if I wanted to. I just want my computer works like windows xp.
So can YER a little confused you explain a little better please.
OR
do you mean get W7 to resemble the way XP worked?
In this case (start base fast and simple):
- try to set a theme for a basic/classic theme - more like 98 then XP well.
- Download (AV Control) and then use "classic shell" - menu style old XP.
- Ditto for "explore classic" mentioned on this site.
- Set the control panel to use the icons (small or large) as opposed to categories.
But its still W7 in disguise.
Is that the sort of thing you mean?
If so, personally, I think its better to stick with W7 and get used to. I bet you will love windows 8 :)

How can I get rid of Windows Mail?
I have Windows Vista and I have this stupid Windows mail that comes with it. I never use this program and I was wondering if there is anyway to get rid of it. I also went to remove its files, but he says that the files were nesesary to running some programs, so I decided to not to remove. So, is it a safe way to get rid of Windows mail without messing something up? Thank you for your time and support, of lnachtigal
You cannot get rid of Windows Mail because it's part of your Vista operating system. If you use it, there should not be a problem, but you can disable it if you wish.
