  • Unable to connect wireless to the Internet - Atheros - HP Pavilion dm3-1035dx

    Hello

    Laptop: HP Pavilion dm3-1035dx

I just formatted the computer and the software has been reinstalled. I have the latest Atheros on the Site of HP drivers.

I'm unable to connect to wireless internet, despite what I do. I will try to connect to a network, and it will then show with the little yellow Triangle showing limited access.

Troubleshooting of the shows "wireless network connection is not a valid IP configuration [not not fixed]" and "[detected] problem with wireless adapter or access point.

The wireless router is 2.4 GHz (B + G). Security is WPA2 (AES).

Once I have disable the security for the wireless router I am able to connect to the internet. However, once I got change back to WPA2 (AES) I can no longer connect.

I have crossed the wires and haven't found a working solution. If I could get help that would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

    Fixed a problem.

Don't know what he did but the wireless connection is working now.

I turned off my windows firewall. I disabled the router security and was able to connect to the internet.

Then back to WPA2, the connection has failed.

I tried ipconfig / renew ipconfig/release in commmand invites a few times and ipconfig/release would not work ("..") Unable to contact your dhcp server...). However, after several attempts more to play, I was able to connect wirelessly with WPA2 and windows firewall on.

Ipconfig displays now, 192.168.0.1 and not 169.254.61.203

  • For pavilion a6030n wireless network adapter

Can anyone recommend a card for my Pavilion a6030n wireless network?  Maybe a good router too?

Based on the specifications of your HP Pavilion a6030n desktop, you can use the traditional PCI cards and more recent PCIe wireless. In addition, you can also use an adapter without wire/USB dongle, if you do not want to open your computer.

I would say get a dual band 802.11 wireless network card b/g/n at least, but you might want a wireless 802.11 adapter ac its better range and throughput. With respect to the router, I suggest to get an ac wireless router.

    802.11 b/g/n PCI/PCIe/adapters

    PCIe/USB 802.11 adapters

    routers wireless 802.11 ac

  • Network adapters not functioning-Win7

    Hello

-Recently, I reinstalled Windows 7 Home Basic using a CD as my portable computer has detected an error in which it is stuck to the Startup Repair. Reinstallation was successful, but then I noticed my laptop was not connected to the internet and found out that in the "change map settings" only the Bluetooth network connection is displayed. Before reinstall, I normally see 4 adapters here, 1 for Bluetooth, 2 adapters for wireless connections and 1 adapter for wired connections. I tried looking for solutions but no permits. I tried to open Device Manager, and only 2 Bluetooth devices appear under network adapters. I noticed in the category other devices, there are Ethernet controller network controller. Please help on what to do.

  • No error network adapters installing ESX 4.1 at the current Summit ESX

I'm trying to install the server ESX 4.1 in one of my virtual machines created in the current ESX 4.1 box.  The installation failed because no network adapters have been detected.  Anyone know how to put in place or find a network adapter inside a virtual machine running on an ESX Server?

That explains it. ESXi does not support these virtual network adapters. Configure the virtual machine with the E1000 NICs and it should work.

  • Cannot see network adapters

I am running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit on the computer I want to run VMware Server.  I have no problems with installation and setting up of the guest operating system.  However, it will not see my network adapters on this computer.  I even tried to install on an another Win7 (Home Premium 64-bit) and it has the same problem.  I had to test it on a professional (32-bit) Windows XP computer until I was able to confirm that it doesn't detect network cards (you can see the cards on this machine very well, but IE won't let me access the Server web browser interface).

When I open the virtual networks management program, I only have the option 'bridge to an automatically chosen adapter' and I can not uncheck the option "automatic gateways.

When using NAT networking, I ping addresses (for example, www.google.com), but I can't visit a Web site.

    Someone, help please?

and I can not uncheck the option "automatic gateways.

then the installation failed - as expected, by the way.

  • Configuration of the network adapters physical vSwitches

Hello! I am currently in operation 1 Server ESXi 4.1, a switch Dell PowerConnect 2708 (8 ports) and 2 vSwitches.

    My question is this:

Why don't my ESXi / vCenter server detects the physical or the various Dell switch ports? I can only see 1 physical adapter that is my card physical BroadCom that is installed on the physical server ESXi. From what I've studied, I've seen users ESXi / vCenter Server able to detect at least 1 or 2 cards physical on their Cisco switches.

Is the problem the manufacturer? Dell or Cisco? I can only now see 2 physical network adapters on my server vCenter Server "vmnic0" which is upward and enforcement connected to my main switch which has to internet access. And "vmnic32" under "Gigabit Ethernet PCIe" which is down and waiting, which I'm unable to set up at all.

I just need 1 physical adapter to connect to my newly created another vSwitch. Please give helpful suggestions! Thank you!!!

The Dell switch must support CDP, if it is not, you will not see any information on the Dell switch - two NETWORK ports are pligged of network cables?

    Hello

I'm trying to fix my computer neighbors, it is a Pavilion dm3, and she managed to completely lock the system. When it just starts, he asks the administrator password and will not continue to boot, the bios menu is not available.

I read a few other posts on this forum that the way to unlock is to display the given 'halt' code when 3 passwords failed, in my case, this code is: 51019908

Let me know if you need other information.

Also, how they still end up in this State, I've never seen this kind of lockdown before?

  • Satellite L300 - 17L - don't see networks wireless detected

    Hi all

I just bought a Satellite L300 - 17L. All drivers seem to work except for the wireless card.

First, I installed the driver indicated by this site, but I discovered that the map is actually a card Intel Pro 3945, not Realtek as specified in the section of the driver.

Now I have installed the driver for the INTEL PRO 3945ABG, 11.5.1.15 version and also the PRO Set utility, and I do not see the networks wireless detected.

I have a colleague who sees many networks using the same card but on another laptop.

I also tested the switch on the laptop and it's on.

Have you experienced these problems on your system? Please help me because I am really sad because of this problem.

    Thank you & best regards

    Hello

As far as I know this laptop was equipped with the Intel 11 a/b/g WLan card.
You should first check if the WLan router and wireless network cards use the same WLan standard.

In the properties of card WLan (in Device Manager), you can check this settings, choose the Advanced tab.

I would recommend also check if the WiFi network was activated properly

    Good bye
