• Pavilion Slimline s3120N will not recognize the new video card

  I can't get my computer to recognize and use a new video card. I tried 3 cards (GeForce 8400GS... cards 2different and Radeon HD 4550). The computer continues using the onboard video. For each card, I did the following:

  Go to configuration, advanced and changed the main graphics card 'on board' to 'PCI-E '.

  Saved and let the computer start.

  Stop and insert the new video card into the PCI-E slot

  Start the computer and installed the latest driver

  Computer restarts

  No matter what I do, it always uses the embedded video. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium. How can I use the PCI-E slot/video card? Any suggestions?

  I think that your problem may be the power supply unit (PSU).  The video card that you have installed require a minimum of 300W/350W.  The power supply of your computer is perhaps only 180W; 220W at the most.  You can check by opening the case and by reading the label on.  It's just too much difference for the card to function properly.

  My C drive (disk solid state drive), which held my operating system and data from the app crashed. I had it replaced, updated Win 7 to win 10 and have downloaded Firefox. I was able to restore my profile from a Mozy backup data and copied in the Firefox folder. But Firefox resolutely refuses to recognize. I tried using the recovery data from an old profile, but no advantage help page. Tried to use the Manager profile, but without success. When I go to Troubleshooting Information and click on file/Show profile, it comes up with a list of files (files starting with bookmarkbackups, which however is empty, down for webapps, which has the file inside webapps.json), then the files from addons.json down through xulstore.json and the file places.sqlite is 10 240 KB Although there is something in there, but Firefox resolutely refuses to acknowledge my profile, bookmarks, etc..

  Such a backup is perhaps a ZIP archive containing all the files into it if it is not a real file, but only one file.

  Note is that you replace the file places.sqlite with a copy of the backup that you have to make sure to remove existing places.sqlite - shm and temporary files to SQLite places.sqlite - wal.
  Ditto for the other SQLite files that you are restoring.

  Have you checked the application.ini file in the backup?

  I'm trying to find out why Oracle APEX recognizes all case as equivalent passwords?  I would like to as Oracle APEX to be more precise.  In other words if the password is 'Boy13ab!', I want Oracle to allow that the character set and not 'boy13ab '!  For some reason, in the APEX, "Boy13ab!" = "boy13ab!" for my application.  The Oracle table has stored correctly.  I googled but found nothing suitable.

  APEX workspace user passwords are certainly sensitive. The APEX_AUTHENTICATION. CONNECTION API is only the entry point for the authentication framework and should * NOT * be avoided. It really depends on the used authentication scheme how the credentials are verified. Your application probably has a custom authentication scheme based on your USERS table that applies LOWER or HIGHER on the password, like Jeff suggested.

  I am trying to replace the 350 watt PSU in this Pavilion Elite m9250f.  Our electronics store a large number of power supplies with features - save a.  Plate of the PSU lists 0.8 a-12V line.  All but one the new PSUS in the store of the list only 0. 3 a or 0. 5A-12V.  The only one with 0.8 a is 850 watts.

  Should this machine really more than 0. 8A-12V?

  I was unable to get information about HP or ASUS, manufacturer of Council.  It is ridiculous to go to 850W just to drive the - 12V line.

  -12v is just a reference voltage and provide a small amount of current.  Corsair CX500, CX600 or CS500m would work well in your PC.
