HP Pavilion a6000n: no need for replacement motherboard - it's the standard micro ATX?
I want to upgrade this computer and get a new card mother and CPU. Currently there is a M2N68-LA/NARRATED-GL8E made by Asus for HP. No matter what micro ATX motherboard will work, or that it has an odd size or placement of screw hole or else incompatible?
Thank you!
In case anyone is interested, I picked up an ASRock 970 M Pro3 AM3 mATX Motherboard AMD and a 8-core processor from AMD FX 8320E. The motherboard was a little shorter than the origian, then the bottom screw holes align. But it is strong enough and it works fine.
There, however, no place to plug in the SD card reader, or the front firewire. I do not use firewire, so this isn't a problem, but I'll miss the SD card reader. It's one thing that I forgot to check when looking for motherboards.

HP Pavilion g7-2247us Notebook: notebook PC HP Pavilion g7 graphic interface drivers
I tried to update my graphic drivers (Intel HD Graphics 4000, dated 26/09/2012), both with automatic programs like the Intel update manual mode of Intel and HP (although HP doesn't seem to have something more recent than I have). Available Intel drivers carry a date as recent as may 2016, but whenever I try to update or install the I get the error message "driver is not validated for this computer. You can get the correct driver from the manufacturer of the computer. "
Is there anyway to install a driver that has been updated in recent years on this machine? I had problems running some recent games and try to avoid the suspension for a new computer.

blocked password on hp pavilion series g what to do?
blocked password on hp pavilion series g what to do?
Hello
Try the following.
Using another PC, download the app from the following link and save it in your downloads folder.
Once the download is complete, open your download folder and double-click on the installer - this will result in another file, which is the disk image (.) ISO) you need to burn to a blank CD.
Now, you will need to use an application like ImgBurn ( Note: you can deselect additional software offerings when you install ImgBurn) to burn this ISO properly on a blank CD - a guide on the use of ImgBurn to write an ISO on a disc is here.
When the disk has been created, shut down the PC you can not log on, press the ESC key as soon as you press the power button to access the Start Menu, insert the CD, select Boot Options (usually f9), use the arrow keys to select the CD/DVD drive and press enter - peut also have you to "Press any key" to boot from the CD if asked to.
Follow the instructions on the guide here to remove the current password.
Kind regards

HP Pavilion DV6T-3000: what are the processor i7 can this motherboard can I go to?
Hello
I'd like to update my CPU, but don't know which are supported by my motherboard.
I have a HP Pavilion DV6T-3000 series.
Part of the motherboard: 615278-001
Original CPU: i7-720QM
In the dv6 manual (link below), it is mentioned that the Intel Core i7-740QM, i7-820QM and i7-840QM can used in general by computer laptop dv6, but it's not to specify which processor when with the motherboard.
http://www.HP.com/CTG/manual/c02657339.PDF
I would like to used the upgrade to i7-840QM, or at least i7-820QM or same i7-740QM as last resort.
Will be my motherboard suport it?
Thank you
See page 22 of the manual here:
Unlike compatibility processor only in motherboards, it's that there are motherboards for dual core and Quad Core boards. If you have a Quad Core, you can install any other Quad Core. These mobile Intel Core i7 1 genQuads always tends to be expensive and I don't know how much delivery must be done by replacing one such Quad Core for another. The base clock speed increase would be only 1.6 to 1.86 ghz, which is not terribly important. On eBay the i7-840QM is still ongoing for over $ $100 and for that price you approach the cost of a 500 GB SSD, which would provide a lot more help to your user experience.

HP Pavilion Slimline s3720f: what video card should I buy?
I want to add a new video card (not too expensive) for my old HP Pavilion Slimline s3720, but I do not know what video card to buy, because there are far too many choices. I know that the new card must be low profile with a half support so it can fit into the currently available in the motherboard slot. I hope that Conect my Dell UltraSharp 1708FP 17-inch LCD flat monitor VGA on this new card to get the best resolution and graphics. Can someone give me a recommendation indicating which card to buy? Please be specific. Thank you.
The slimelines should never require a lot of video. Your 2008 model circa was Vista. Updates drivers ended with WIN 7. It's a miracle you got WIN10 without drivers available is another story. Another factor is the skinny 160W PSU. That limits your options if you have a. The common consensus is that either. added heat from a graphics card, the likely additonal to a new power supply really outweighed costs.

I have what is essentially a hp notebook pc pavilion dv6985se. The case is the special edition of the copper color model. Motherboard of the laptop being (for lack of a better way to explain it), "tattooed" with windows vista, I tried to upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit sp1 and cannot until the date of windows despite many attempts troubleshooting update. So, my ultimate question is a motherboard more modern, say like the dv6163cl, I in a newer model specifications that I own. FE11UA dv6700 in question here is a model I want to continue to use it in the hope of the upgrade that I need to upgrade THIS appliance that works? Any suggestions would help me a lot in my choices as appropriate.
Nothing I have with Windows 7 has updated since July 31, when the free Windows 10 took end. have you tried Autopatcher or WSUS Offline update tool?

I forgot my bios password and want to retrieve it by removing the RTC battery. These, I need to focus on my Platinum motherboard, that can be printed on the manual of the motherboard.
So in regards to this problem, I need to know the manufacturer of my HP Pavilion 1305au g4 laptop computer motherboard.
Sorry, but you're going to do a lot of work for nothing - as it does not work with laptops, only with desktop computers.
Unfortunately, on a community forum, we have no way to authenticate the possession or access to an HP device, with the result that everyone can come here claiming to have lost or forgotten their password, and if tell us them how to get around this, we could very well have helped the access to a lost or stolen computer.
My suggestion is that you contact HP customer support to see what they are willing to do it for you.
If you live in the United States or the Canada, details are on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/phone-assist.html#section1
