@mbkinzey, welcome to the forum.

Here is a page on ebay with some of your motherboards.  You must make sure that the part number for the one you choose matches your.  The reason why I recommend to replace it in kind, it is HP motherboards belong to someone who makes it possible that some of the connectors and the spreaders case will not match.

    @Niko8881

I have corrected my post above - use your computer product number .

If you know the name of the specific model of your computer and can not boot the computer to get the product number, you can use another method to find information.

Example - get the product number of the computer specifications:

    System > HP Pavilion 17 - e049wm Notebook PC product specifications >

    Product number > 0J75UA

Open HP PartSurfer> select your country >

Enter in the quick search box: 0J75UA

If necessary, consult your original purchase information and / or reception.  If you have bought from HP.com, you would have received a confirmation email that provides essential order information, including the product number of your system.

  • 15 t-n200: replacement hard drive dead: what should I buy HP replacement, or everything will work with recovery media?

    I have a HP Pavilion 15 t-n200 laptop computer running Windows 7, 64-bit.

The computer got extremely slow and work stoppage. HP diagnostic indicates a failed hard drive, and my warranty has expired. I DO NOT have the recovery media.

My question is this: if I buy the recovery media for my HP computer, should I also buy HP hard drive for it to install correctly? Or can I just simply buy a HDD from a local retailer and use HP recovery support (and the certificate of Authenticity on the back of Microsoft) to reinstall WIndows 7?

Some people suggest that it will work very well, while other members of the forum here have talked about issues and something of tattoos on the hard drive or the Council.

Thanks in advance to anyone who responds!

    Hello

No, you don't need to buy the HP's HARD drive, you can buy anywhere, but please use the same band (normally from Toshiba, but please check the label) for the compatibility and capacity or more.

    Kind regards.

  • HP Pavilion Slimline s3720f: what video card should I buy?

I want to add a new video card (not too expensive) for my old HP Pavilion Slimline s3720, but I do not know what video card to buy, because there are far too many choices. I know that the new card must be low profile with a half support so it can fit into the currently available in the motherboard slot. I hope that Conect my Dell UltraSharp 1708FP 17-inch LCD flat monitor VGA on this new card to get the best resolution and graphics. Can someone give me a recommendation indicating which card to buy? Please be specific. Thank you.

The slimelines should never require a lot of video.  Your 2008 model circa was Vista.  Updates drivers ended with WIN 7. It's a miracle you got WIN10 without drivers available is another story.  Another factor is the skinny 160W PSU. That limits your options if you have a.  The common consensus is that either.  added heat from a graphics card, the likely additonal to a new power supply really outweighed costs.

  • HP Pavilion Slimline S5000 series what proccessors are compatible with this desktop computer

    HP Pavilion Slimline s5000 series

    PEGATRON CORPORATION NARRA5 (Socket AM2)

basically the research to upgrade this computer, but seeks a proccessor with certain powers to him.

seen things here and there about am2 slots to use am3 proccesors with a bios upgrade and this and that.

I just want to know if any am2 + / am3 processors will work with this computer.

I could find only a proccessor am2 but I do not trust any other sites then amd itself wich doesn't am2 processors do more

Newegg wich ofc cannot sell what is not done more

and tigerdirect which is the same case.

If only I had the money to buy a pc with a new am3 motherboard. \

    Hello

Here are the specifications of your PC (s5623w).

In theory, these processors AMD Socket AM2 + rated 95 watts should work. I would stay away from the 'B' models

  • I can't find out what motherboard I have for my HP Pavilion 15 t-n200

    Hello

I have a HP Pavilion 15 t-n200 and I can't find out what motherboard I have. I have searched for answers days now and have decided to come on the forums.

    The specifications are:

    1.6 GHz to 2.3 Ghz i5-4200u

    8 GB of DDR3 RAm/memory

    64-bit operating system

    Windows 8.1

If someone could help me find out what mother boar I have it would be great.

It must be the 740 M so this motherboard:

    Intel Core i5-4200U 740 M 1.6 GHz (2 GB DC BGA 15 W) for use with Windows Standard 736377-501

Page 42 of the manual for the memory upgrade. Yes, there are two slots, and it supports up to 12 concerts (8 + 4).

An SSD is another matter. To get to the hard drive Bay, you must remove all cover it. It's not easy and it puts at risk the warranty. See Page 59. This set of video clips will help, too.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c04324972

But yes, you can install an SSD if you jump through all the hoops.

  • What motherboard do I have on my Pavilion g7-1219 wm laptop

I own a Pavilion g7-1219 wm laptop with an Apu AMD E - 450 wih Radeon (TM) HD Graphics 1.65 ghz and I tried to upgrade my processor for a while now, but I don't have any idea of which processors my motherboard supports and I watched this manual on the Pavilion and I am simply too confusing , I'd like an answer to see which processor I can go too and how what it would cost.

    Thank you.

    Hello:

Here is the link to the service manual for your laptop. Care provided in Chapter 1.

    http://bizsupport1.Austin.HP.com/BC/docs/support/SupportManual/c02834058/c02834058.PDF

You have already taken the best processor in charge.

Not only that, but from these Fusion processors, you can not upgrade. They are part of the motherboard.

The card mother set must be replaced in order to upgrade.

  • Understand what I would be buying

I downloaded Toshiba BT Stack to test with a USB dongle not - Toshiba a Win7Pro, 64-bit.

First impressions are very good, and I plan to buy the battery. It is not clear to me, however, exactly what I would like to buy. By clicking on the product license an email with a link to a web page that has a product key previously entered. I imagine that the product key is related to the purchased enabler code or other in order to provide some protection against piracy, but I can't find anything to explain what it will impose restrictions on me.

Activation is tied to a particular USB dongle? A particular PC? The code will be invalid if I have to reinstall the OS? I can install it on several operating systems / systems and move the dongle autour between them?

The world (well, me) waits to hear...

    Thank you, Steve.

You are right. The license refers to the Bluetooth hardware. If this can be a USB or Bluetooth hardware internal to a laptop or PC.
So if it's a USB Bluetooth dongle you can also move it to another PC and use it with them. The update to a new Bluetooth stack is free and works immediately and does not require activation of and. If you reinstall your entire operating system you must then enter the license key once again for reactivation.

Yes, you can reinstall Windows 7 OEM System Builder License on the new hard drive with the new processor.

It will not be a problem in this case, since you don't "move" installation, you are doing a new installation. The less it will take is activation of the phone, as you change the hard drive:

How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)

    1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4

    (2) press the ENTER"" key.

    (3) select your "country" in the list.

    (4) choose the option "activate phone".

    (5) stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.

    (6) explain your problem clearly to the support person.

    Hi adamelstar,

It seems that Adobe has increased prices on standalone/perpetual versions of Captivate 9 a little: + $100 for the lot, and + $50 for the upgrade.

But the new features look good on version 9, so this would be the best choice (as long as you have a 64-bit system)...  You should power install and run on up to two computers, any version or purchase option you choose.

If you want to download & install the new product or trial without Akamai Download Manager, you can use the direct links 9 Captivate.
