  • This copy of Windows is not genuine after updating Windows 10 and return to Windows 7 Ultimate

When I've updated to windows 10 using the windows icon free 10 in the corner, it didn't appeal to me, so I used the button restore to go back to windows 7. After he turned back, a saying watermark "Windows 7 Build 7601 this copy of windows is not genuine" I don't know what happened and only happened once I started windows 7 Windows 10. Someone help please!

I suggest that you run the diagnostic tool Microsoft Genuine Advantage in normal mode and copy and paste the results into a response for further analysis:

    http://go.Microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=52012

Run the tool and when it ends, click the copy button, open a text such as Word or Notepad file and select Edit, paste. You can paste directly into an answer here. Open a response, right click and select Paste.

  • "Windows 7 Build 7601 this copy of Windows is not genuine" after several teething problems

Well, a few days ago, I had repeated problems where after my machine has started, things were not running right.  Several programs that start automatically at startup were suspended, others were not run at all and I had to reboot several times in a row until I was a session that would normally be.  This last day, he won't even be me a normal session.

And then I got the dreaded error "this copy of Windows is not genuine" and it starts just a black screen and I do not get any further.  (I started this time in Mode safe mode with networking).  I have a disc of Win7 Pro DVD bought Age of return and progressed through several machines with it.  Always a machine at the same time, of course.

  • MY COPY OF WINDOWS IS NOT GENUINE, AFTER THAT I FIX IT

AFTER I INSTAL WINDOWS 10 UPDATE AFTER USING 2-3 DAYS I GOT MSG BOOTMGR IS MISSING, SO I FIXED BY THE STORE THEY HAVE FORMATTED THE SYSTEM AND INSTALL THE SYSTEM, BUT AFTER WHAT I DO NOW THAT MY COPY IS NOT GENUINE

    • I USE LG LAPTOP IT ONLY Y HAS NO DVD OF THE BONE WITH THE LAPTOP
    • AND ALSO MY SPEAKERS DO NOT WORK AFTER FORMAT

You will need to take it back to the shop to sort.

Most computers do not come with the DVD more they have utility that should be executed when 1st purchase to create recovery media.

You may be able to get LG to provide the original recovery Windows 7 Media at a cost. After the upgrade of Windows 10 system should have received a digital rights license, but it may not be enough time to upgrade for the failure to do so. In this case, the only option is to reinstall Windows 7 and rerun the upgrade of Windows 10

BIOS valid for OA 2.0: no, table invalid SLIC

For some reason your computer is not properly read the slic table.

You need to change your product key to the one on your COA

    Click Start

    Right click on computer

    Select Properties

Scroll to the bottom of the page and select change product key

You will then need to activate by phone:

How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)

    1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4

    (2) press the ENTER"" key.

    (3) select your "country" in the list.

    (4) choose the option "activate phone".

    (5) stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.

    (6) explain your problem clearly to the support person.

    Additional information:

Computers, which are built by large manufacturers provided with pre-installed Windows are supplied with 2 two product keys:

    (A) OEM SLP: this key comes pre-installed in Windows, when it comes to the factory. This key is designed to work with the special instructions isn't on the hardware of this manufacturer. Then, when Windows was installed using the OEM SLP (in factory) Windows 7 key leans on the motherboard and he sees special instructions and activates. (that's why you had no need to turn on your computer after you brought it home)

    (B) COST SLP: it's the product key that you see on the sticker on the side (or at the bottom, [or in the battery compartment]) of your computer. It is a valid product key, but must be used only in certain situations (for example, if the OEM SLP key stops automatic activation for a reason any). The key must be activated by phone. (Note: all manufacturers that use the SLP OEM system are bound by contract to include a certificate of Authenticity sticker (COA), which has a COA SLP key, on the computer)

  • "This copy of Windows is not genuine" after installing windows skin (transcript)

So this weekend I spent a few hours to 'customize' my PC. I installed a skin (which I assume is the source of my problem), some tools to change the ORB start and a few other minor aesthetics, I also changed the sounds, but you can do this through the customization tab, so I doubt that this would be the source of my problem. I was careful when replacing system files, than the replacement of explorer.exe itself corrupted in the past, that I managed to fix my own easily.  I doubt the files I edit has had something to do with the permission of my OS, but I could be wrong. I have a genuine version of Windows 7, it came preinstalled on the PC when I bought it and it works A-O-Kay for about 5 years now, all I've really seen this pirate error trying to hide evidence to their pirated copies of Win7, that is not the case.

I currently do a Virus scan with AVG as I type this and will edit if it solves the problem. But I am fully willing to cooperate in the process of solving this problem, if the skin I have installed is the problem so I can easily uninstall, repair my file system or restore them to a point older; It's just that I don't want to get rid of him, if I have to. Another note, it's that I did not use the wipers/registry cleaners other than CCleaner, which did not give me wrong before and is highly praised for this work and to play with something else.

I think it's something got in my system files with the tools that I used or something, because when I go into the properties of my computer it says my authorization key is not available.

    Thanks in advance,
    Nick.

Thanks for the reply. I have since made a system restore and the antivirus scan has detected two "IRP Rootkits" inside my System32 folder. Strangely, after restoration, the message disappeared, I waited for about 45 minutes and checked again and it was still gone and in computer > properties it doesn't detect my RAM or the processor (which has since fixed itself, because it detects very well now).

After having checked the link you provided the only question I had was the error message, I have not received an error message and my desktop (s) remained the same, that could be because I use displayfusion to my setup dual monitor that replaced the switch in the dark.

I'll stay alert for any additional questions by the departure, but it seems that this might have been a minor bug on my part because it seems to be fixed now. I will return if the problem appears again, thank you for your assistance, Sharief.

  • Vista asks to activate and insert the restore disc. SE message at the bottom of the screen: "this copy of Windows is not genuine".

    Original title: corrupt Windows Vista

I have vista business and I think he got corrupted when I went overseas. Now it asks me always to activate and insert the restore disc but I've mislaid and cannot locate my restore disk. Also on the bottom, it indicates that this copy of windows is not genuine? Please help anyone on how I can restore this back to the original.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hello

There are several methods to reinstall Vista.

    See which way suits you.

There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:

You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:

How to change the Boot order in BIOS:

    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/SS/bootorderchange.htm

"How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326246

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Ask them to the proper key sequence.

And if you do not score a manufacturer of recovery on your hard drive, you should be able to make your own recovery from her disks to reinstall the operating system.

Go to programs > name of the manufacturer of your computer > then their system or recovery tools software topics for them, depending on how it is formulated.

If you can't find any reference to it, contact the manufacturer for advice on how to make these recovery disks.

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

"How to activate Vista normally and by Activation of the phone '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/84488-activate-Vista-phone.html

    See you soon.

  • After the reboot, I get Windows Vista build 6002 this copy of windows is not genuine, but the system... activation seems to be

After a restart/virus scan (after the large recent Windows Update Microsoft), I see on the background one right part of my screen:

Windows Vista (TM) Build 6002 this copy of Windows is not genuine.

I looked at the system screen and it shows only: Windows is activated.

I ran Microsoft Genuine Diagnostics tool, and it shows:
    Validation status: genuine
    Validation code: 0

N/a for resolution state (probably because he thinks that the installation is correct).

Don't know what the issue is here?  Does anyone know a fix for this?  I would rather have not shut down the system after 30 days of work!
    Thank you!

According to the report that you have posted, you should not see a non-genuine problem - the report is clean.

If you are indeed to see a non-genuine notification, then is that from time to time, or is this all the time?

If it is present only from time to time, you have a race condition - and those can be a nightmare to solve, because they disappear as soon as you look at :) They are often caused by antivirus programs in conflict with other programs running

If it is there all the time, then try the following.

Vista license store is perhaps damaged or its data can be ruined somehow. Please try the steps below to re-create the store with the correct data.

    (1) open an Internet browser window.
    (2) type: %windir%\system32 in the browser's address bar.
    (3) find the CMD.exe file
    (4) make a right click on CMD.exe and select "Run as Administrator"
    (5) type: net stop slsvc (it may ask you if you're sure, select Yes)
    (6) type: cd %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareLicensing
    (7) type: Rename tokens.bar tokens.dat
    (8) type: cd %windir%\system32
    (9) type: net start slsvc
    (10) type: cscript slmgr.vbs - FLIR (it may take time for this will be complete, please be patient)
    (11) restart your computer twice.
    (12) you may need to enter you product key and activate it.

  • Vista Home Premium x 64 lie "this copy of Windows is not genuine". Solution?

Why my Windows Vista Home Edition Premium x 64 (active with the serial number on the side of the case more than 3 years ago) suddenly puts an overlay at the bottom right of my desk saying: -.
    "Windows Vista (TM)".
    Build 6002
This copy of Windows is not genuine ".

I have not done something 'new' with him, did not have any material (Chipset, processor and MAC address are the same, not BIOS updated firmware etc.) or installed a major service pack (just the regular updates for the Defender) and all of a sudden it tells me I'm a thief of cheating When I KNOW for a fact that I am not.

I have never shared my license key with anyone. (at least not consciously) I've never disabled Windows. I didn't join a new area or changed my working group. I've not yet been messing around in my system registry these last time.

This message is very disturbing, I realized that the 'Premium' features, which I do not use a fair bit, stop working shortly after this message.

What should I do to reassure Windows that's really authentic?

Oh, wait... I remember something that I do... I've been running thorough Defrags recently. Resized the Swap Partition (Yes, I keep a partition for the pagefile 'fixed size' and hide only) and changed the BCD to 'show' the Test of memory Vista boot option.

    One of these would cause?

I do not see why and don't know what to do to fix.

Actually... the problem is not that the defragment utility.

If I jump the boot time defragmentation (or he analyzes that no hard drive need to be defragmented) no office message.

If a drive is defragmented during startup, Windows isn't genuine this session.

For all MSVPs, who may be interested to hear this strange story and understand why... the software in question is UltraDefrag.
