pc Mac compatibility

I'm changing the OS from MAC to PC...

I'll be able to open and edit the file xxxxx.muse (from MAC to PC window10 capitan)

Thank you

Most of the formats of native Adobe files (such as files Photoshop , InDesign files and files Muse as well) are not committed to Mac or Windows. You can just copy the file from Mac to Windows and the other way around. Just be wary, system fonts can differ from one machine to the other, but which can also occur between two Mac or Windows machines and has nothing to do with no difference between Mac or Windows.

    Hello

I put t see no reason why you can not use this camera in relation to the Mac.
The SD card where are stored all the files (movies and pictures) can be removed and you can use it in the external that is connected to the Mac card reader.

  • Adobe CS6 Mac compatibility

I'm about to start online for a career in technical writing classes.  I have an iMac and a MacBook Pro, both with OS X El Capitan 10.11.6.  Applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign (CS6) Adobe won't ever compatible with my device?  Many companies still use FrameMaker, but I read that Adobe has not supported for Mac for several years.

I am angry to think I can't get online training that I need because Adobe and Apple are not 'buddies '.  I'm not quite tech-savvy to maneuver a lot of workarounds and will not download anything that will be problematic.

Could use some definitive answers on the current state of Adobe and Mac.  Thank you!

CS6 is now four years old. When it was developed, it has been tested and supported for Mac OS X 10.6.8 and 10.7. It is still cited as the required system configuration.

Apple brought out four new versions of the OS since then. On some applications, including InDesign, Mac OS X 10.11 will be generally not to install or run. (You'd have to ask in the forums for other products like Photoshop to see how the CS6 runs in El Capitan, I have no way of knowing.)

Adobe has announced about three years ago that it would provide no new updates for CS6. It is considered as the 'end of life'.

In the meantime, Adobe has produced creative cloud with new versions in 2013, 2014 and 2015. If you want to apply the latest updates to Mac OS X, you must get a subscription to Adobe Creative cloud versions which will be kept up-to-date.

If you want to run CS6 on applications, you will need to return to an earlier version of Mac OS X.

  • the Sierra with the old Mac compatibility

I use two computers, both running under OS El Capitan.

I have an iMac from early 2011. It run Sierra?

I have a MacBook Pro of 2009. It run Sierra?

What happens if my iMac has Sierra and the MacBook Pro has El Capitan? Sierra 'modernize' my photos so that they do not share on my MacBook Pro? Passwords? Mail application?

My 2011 iMac runs Sierra very well. The more RAM you can throw at it, the better. I have 12 GB in mine.

A 2009 MacBook Pro can not run Sierra. It requires a model mid-2010 or later.

  • (Mid-2010) Mini Mac external speakers + Sierra

    Hello guys,.

I wonder about this new system. Since I downloaded it my external speakers have not worked. I have Aiwa speakers before 180 system. I tried to plug in the headphones or the internal speakers and nothing happens. The speakers still work b/c I hear static and I have tried plugged into themselves and I got a your hard. So my best guess is that Siri has messed up this older model Mac compatibility. So, what gives Sierra, I love so much that I have would be to demote, however there is no more Audio download of El Capitan.

Check your sound settings in system preferences. They could be eset with default values. Often just tilting head and on the output selections will 'wake up' the system.

Alternatively try a Starter course if the above does not help.

    ------

Restart in Safe Boot mode by holding down the SHIFT key at startup. Secure boot is quite slow because the operating system performs some cleanup and verification tasks, so give it time. Once you're completely connected, restart normally.

What is the latest version of safari for mac 10.7.5?

The latest version of Safari would be available since last year, he took charge.

As upgrades of the Safari browser are usually attached to the version of OS X itself, only

Some OS X systems have seen than Safari upgrades without a new OS X too.

Which version you see in your OS X applications? It should be (maybe) Safari 6.1.6

If the software update cannot show you something more recent (for Lion 10.7.5) then you're there.

  • Toshiba 3.5 "3 TB USB 3 to HDD - unable to create partition using Mac OS

    Hi guys,.

I just bought a Toshiba Canvio 3 TB (HDWC130EK3J1) to be used as external for my iMac.
I can see the well 3 TB drive, but I can't make any partition system native Mac OS journaled.

When I try, I get an error message.

    Any help or ideas?

    Thank you

    Hello

To my knowledge the Toshiba 3.5 "3 TB USB 3 to HARD drive supports the file format NTFS (for the support of the Windows system).

I guess you must re - format the HARD drive to the system of files HFS + for Mac compatibility

  • PCI cards with USB 3.0 or eSATA for a Mac Pro 2006 (1,1)

    Hello, Apple people!

I got my hands on a Mac Pro 2006 earlier from a friend. I used it as a BESTIAL Server (seriously, this thing is not so much as breaking a sweat even when I throw it the more difficult task.) I love this machine) since I got it, and I think I want to do the updates. My plan so far is to get multiple mounting OWC to pick up the second drive Bay currently vacant DVD and install two 120 GB Samsung 850 EVO drives in RAID 0, while using the real HARD disk bays for a RAID 10 array (nested RAID: two RAID 1 arrays brought together in a RAID 0 array) of four 2 TB red WD drives and use two 250 GB hard drives currently in the machine in an external case in a matrix RAID 1 for backup. I'm pretty happy on this issue.

My question concerns what interface to use for external drives of 250 GB. I can use:

    • USB 2.0 currently on the machine
    • FireWire 800 currently on the machine
    • a PCIe USB 3.0 card
    • a PCIe card with eSATA

That we will get the faster speeds? I know that, theoretically, eSATA would get faster speeds (6 Gbps eSATA vs 5 Gbit/s USB 3.0 vs 800 Mbps, Firewire 800 vs 480 Mbps USB 2.0), however I know also (maybe?) that the Mac Pro I have only has grooves in v PCIe 1.1, with a (supposed) 250 MB/s maximum data transfer rate. would this bottleneck a PCIe USB 3.0 or eSATA card not worth?

Note: don't worry all "Mac compatibility" with PCIe cards (or the table RAID scheme I mentioned). I am running Ubuntu Server (64 bit) on the machine, and given that the Linux kernel supports much more conductive than Mac OS X, I probably don't need to look at all the other drivers. This issue is specific to the hardware capabilities of the Mac Pro.

Probably the most simple installation, you can do is to install the eSATA extender cable adapter.

  • I can't connect to my WiFi using windows xp sp3 on bootcamp for Mac OSX Snow Leopard 10.6.8

I can't connect to my WiFi using windows xp SP3 on bootcamp for Mac OSX Snow Leopard 10.6.8

On the side of my computer's mac, the internet works fine.
I just want the computer to recognize my home network, but it's as if we want a modem connection.
Ask what you need to know the specs.
I do this to play Halo on my Mac.

This is the problem (which I corrected).  It's simple, all you have to do is to switch to XP, insert your mac installation disc and follow installation bootcamp, with all the drivers for mac compatibility.  The wireless just popped up as active.

I lost my, but this isn't a problem: just go to the apple Web site, use the express track, diagnose your problem and have a representative call you.  They answer in a few seconds.  Replacement CD is very cheap ($16-2011).  You can get the CD of requests for replacement, which is another $ 16, but it is not important; XP does not use it, only the operating system for the drivers.  Mine came very quickly, in just 2 days.

Hope that answers questions from the Internet.

Now to play online Halo with my FPS Pro controller! 8 D

Illustrator cs5 has been declared incompatible, ps cs5 compatible and I cannot tell what acrobat pro version you are trying to use.

  • MacBook Pro A1260 replacement HARD drive and reinstall OS

    Hello

After more than 8 years my Macbook Pro has "finally" stopped working. I discovered the problem is the HARD drive and I wanted to replace it with an SSD, but I don't know if I can? Also to reinstall everything with a new hard drive do I need I know that I need the original DVD with the operating system but my superdrive drive obviously does more centuries ago (bad quality on the right?) and I left the DVD at home (Italy), now I live in the United Kingdom. As I do not think that my Mac has a Mode to retrieve Internet, can I just make a usb bootable with El Capitan (the one I was currently using) or I need a previous operating system? I think the native Mac with Leopard.

    Hope someone can help me.

    Thank you very much

    John

You can install an SSD in your MBP as long as the form factor SSD 2.5 ".  OWC and Crucial get my nod as the best for Mac compatibility.

You can get the installation disks in double for your MBP of Service model Apple customer.  Or you can order this Snow Leopard disc:

    http://www.Apple.com/shop/product/MC573Z/A/Mac-OS-x-106-Snow-Leopard

You can use an external DVD drive or the DVD drive, another Mac connected to yours.

    Ciao.
