PDF down report in a new window or tab

I use reports 10g. I got a report that opens in PDF format through web browser applications server.

It has zoom report that correctly opens in the same window.

I want to open report zoom in a new window or tab of the browser.

because the drill down report exercises when going to the main report its result is lost he should run again.

If the output of the main report is in html, then using SRW. SET_HYPERLINK_ATTRS('target="_blank);  report zoom is open in a new window

but on this PDF does not work.

concerning

I had the use of integrated suite solution:

SRW. SET_PDF_ACTION ("iexplore.exe http://YourAppServername/reports/rwservlet?report=ReportName&optionalparametersQueryString

    Some Images open in a new window or tab are backwards or rotates 90 degrees, but they appear in the correct position when you use Internet EXPLORER.

    I don't even know if it's a browser or a browser-server interaction problem. The problem manifests a certain user forums where members post jpg images that appear as thumbnails. "I can right-click and select"Open in new window"or open in a new tab. Either way some images open OK, some open pivot 90 degrees out of position sometimes upside down. If I use Internet EXPLORE the same images will open on the right side.

    Not in bold. Looks like this:
    Layout.CSS.image - orientation.enabled; true
    Status: default
    Boolean type

    Laughing out loud! But if I double-click on it replaces:
    Layout.CSS.image - orientation.enabled; false
    Set of users of status
    Boolean type

    Now when I right-click the image and select either "open in new tab" or "open in new window" the image is right-side up!

  • Close the option when the hyperlink is set to open in a new window or tab?

    Hi, apologies if already covered. I tried without success! I have a menu with put hyperlinks to open other pages in a new window or tab that works very well. However, would like to be able to create a 'close' button when you click it, will close this particular window or tab and return to my home page (if you can bring back them to the page they sail originally-that would be great!).  The idea is not to leave the visitors with a lot of windows or tabs open because they don't know, they can close that they are viewing and my site remains open in another window or tab. Any help or advice on this would be really appreciated.

  • Open BLOB content of an interactive report in a new window

    Hi all

    I have an interactive relationship with the following query:
    SELECT ID,
      FILE_NAME,
      FILE_MIME_TYPE,
      FILE_CHARACTER_SET,
      DBMS_LOB.GETLENGTH(FILE_CONTENT) FILE_CONTENT,
      FILE_LAST_UPDATED
    FROM FILES
    The number/Date Format property for the column FILE_CONTENT is as follows:
    DOWNLOAD:FILES:FILE_CONTENT:ID::FILE_MIME_TYPE:FILE_NAME:FILE_LAST_UPDATE:FILE_CHARACTER_SET:attachment:Download
    When I click on the link FILE_CONTENT in the report, according to the type of file, it opens in a new window or in the window of the State.

    I'm putting the link to always open the content in a new window. I tried to change the link attributes of target = "_blank" but it did not work.

    There is an example in the Application of the "Sample File Upload and Download" package on apex.oracle.com. Page 1 has a report that allows you to add files. You can add files such as PDF, SQL or TXT file in order to reproduce my situation.

    I appreciate any help!

    Thank you

    Erick

    The problem is solved!

    Apparently the Content-Disposition: Attachment in the BLOB download Format mask does the trick.

    For some reason I disconnect and connect again in the application to see the change.

    I tried to change the Content Disposition inline and then return to the attachment, and the file keeps opening in the same window, unless I'm starting a new session.

    Y at - it an explanation why it work like that?

    Thank you!

  • PDF link open in a new window

    My 'main' PDF, how can I view a pdf attached (or incorporated) link in a new window? Currently, the link opens in the same window as the main pdf file. I chose 'go to page mode' and look at a new window is not an option.

    I'm not sure I understand. Looks like you want to create a link to the document to the other PDF documents that are included as attachments to the main PDF file. Is this fair? If so, where you have "Highlight the attachment link" above, I would say that this should be "open one of the attached PDF files and navigate to the desired page. After you press the "Set" button, the link is created. If now go you back to the main PDF document and change the link (properties > Actions > access a page in another document > Edit) there should be a menu drop-down "open in" as stated above. If you do something else, post again.

  • Open the new Windows browser tab

    I can redirect to a URL by using this code:

    {} private void goto_URL (String psURL)
    FacesContext context = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance ();
    try {}
    context.getExternalContext (.redirect (psURL));
    } catch (IOException ex) {}
    System.out.println (ex.getMessage ());
    }
    }

    but I really need to open a new window of the tab in the browser to open a PDF file.

  • Tabs session restore when Firefox 28 is reopened, I put: when Firefox starts drop-down menu, select Show my windows and tabs from last time

    When opening Firefox 28 tabs in my last session are restored. I put (see my homepage) on the General Settings page, this is a recent problem. I disabled all the (Add ons). Ideas for me.

    One of the possible reasons are if Firefox is of the opinion that it crashed during the last closure. He will try to return to your previous session after a crash. (This can be changed if necessary by using the hidden settings).

    Another possible reason is a file user.js which contains a preference to return to your previous session once, the substitution of your normal setting. This article describes how to check for this possibility: How to fix preferences that will not save.

    Could you check this and a report on the question to know if you find something?

    Note: If you find a file named user but not user.js, Windows can hide the extensions of file on your part. To work with files as accurately as possible, I suggest their display. This Microsoft support article has the steps: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/865219.

  • Open each PDF in a new window?

    When you open multiple PDF files, Acrobat Reader DC brings together in the same window as tabs.  How can I change so that each PDF file opens in a new window?

    Hello

    Launch a PDF > Navigate to Edit > Preferences > General > uncheck "Open Documents as tabs in the same windows" and then restart Acrobat.

    You should now see PDF' open in a new window and not in a format that is tabulated in the same window.

  • How to open a URL in a new window?

    I published Captivate 4 training in Flash/HTML and put it on the server. I have several links to various websites within the formation, but they open in the same window of my Captivate training. When I hit the back button, I start at the beginning of my training instead of here where I left. Is there a setting somewhere in Captivate that I don't see or I have to use the Flash to get the URL to open a new window?

    Thanks in advance,

    Diana

    Hello

    Look to the right of the where you type the URL. You should see a button with an arrow down there. Until it clicks. Choose new!

    Now, I'll get out my crystal ball and answer the following question with that you will come back to this message. Wow, a twofer!

    Once you do that the links will open in a new window. Dandy! But your next question will ask how to make so that the project is progressing until you return are ready. Because you are unable to watch the pretty new window (or tab) the Captivate has continued to play.

    You need to click this button a second time. Then uncheck the option "continue the project play!

  • How can I set up new windows it is maximized by default in Firefox 42?

    For example, I get emails to eBay with daily search results. When I click on them using my computer upstairs, they open a new window, as desired, enlarged, as you wish. When I use a newer computer down, I get a new window as you wish, but it's always some ridiculously small window which I then maximize.

    I tried right click on the shortcut of Firefox and setting Maximized. Nothing. I have bigger manually and then closed the window. Not to maximize the next new window. I am currently using the shift + click workaround, but it is irritating and unnecessary.

    If there is a way to solve this problem, please let me know.

    Try to rename (or delete) the file xulstore.json in the Firefox profile folder.

    You can use this button to go to the current Firefox profile folder:

    • Help > troubleshooting information > profile directory: see file (Linux: open the directory;) Mac: View in the Finder)
  • Shortcut for the new window with several tabs

    Is it possible to have a shortcut on the desktop to launch a new window with several tabs? For example - home page is set to "www.google.com", but the shortcut opens new window with tabs "www.cnn.com" and "www.youtube.com".

    Then far,.../firefox.exe-nouveau-fenetre followed by the two URL in quotes will open two new windows. Entry - new-window "www.cnn.com" - new-tab 'www.youtube.com' will open two new windows if no instance of firefox is open, but if another window is already open, youtube will add a tab to the already open window, rather than the new window with cnn.com

    In reply to myself... withdrawal-order new window (and-new-tab), now it works.

    Looks like I'm too complicated it.

    shortened final was "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla ' 'url1'"url2.
