PDF to HTML

Hello

I am developing the Web-version site for a book and I have to do in a very short time. I know that Acrobat has the option to export in html, but the only result I get is an image tag on an html with an image of the page file. The PDF has tex, I mean, it's not a scan or a single image. I want to know whethet it is possible to solve this problem.

I'm working with Acrobat 8 Professional.

If the exported content is an image, then the content of the page in the PDF file is an image.

Acrobat cannot change that.

No matter, the PDF file as HTML provided by Acrobat is rather rudimentary.

Be well...

    Hi all

    I have a requirement where I have to give a user function, where they can print more then 1 report in a PDF or HTML link provided by buildin feature.

    Hey Veer,

    Report links are specific to a report/request. In addition, page level you print on the pdf/html option. At the bottom of the page, you have this control using which you can print an entire page.

    When I save the PDF in HTML file it records only the first 20 pages (approx.)

  • Acrobat 8 Pro cannot convert PDFs into html

    I received the error message: bad pdf after I tried to convert an attachment (pdf) in html format with Acrobat 8 Pat for Win XP.

    Please let know us if anyone is able to solve the above problem.

    Thank you very much

    No resolution, but it is possible that the software used to create the PDF (bullzip) did not create a pdf file with elements that can be used by Acrobat Pro to generate the html file. Not all the files that can be opened with Acrobat Pro or Reader are properly standardized files.

    If the example is the only element that you want to convert or are similar to the files you want to convert, you'd be better off actually create the HTML from scratch. The structure is simple and would probably less time than the resolution of the problems Acrobat.

  • How can I prevent files being conversion of .pdf to HTML firefox?

  • I need to change a file type of processing to PDF, doc, html txtor. the site that I am trying to download a file he needs in one of these formats

    I need to change a file type of processing to doc, pdf, txt or html. the site that I am trying to download a file needs in one of these formats. THX

    A complete answer would require that we know what "word processing" you use.  However, one of the types of files that are acceptable as 'pdf', you can install 3rd party freeware "CutePDF Writer" on your computer:

    CutePDF: <> http://www.cutepdf.com/products/cutepdf/writer.asp >

    Note that you need to install CutePDF and Ghostscript (both on the site) on your machine.  After you do, you will find that you have another printer on your computer named "CutePDF Writer".  Print the file of word processing for this virtual printer.  When you do so, it ask for a place to store your PDF file.  Give it a name and location, and it will create a PDF file for you.   Excellent Freeware (among my top 10) and works with any application you can print from.  Especially good for saving recipes online so that you don't waste any ink/paper.

  • Windows 7 64 bit + IE10 only = no pdf in HTML help

    1. When I generate a .chm in RoboHelp and click to display the result: the .chm becomes displayed. When I click in the .chm on a link to open a .pdf the .pdf file is displayed correctly in the window main .chm.
    2. When I doubleclick the same .chm in Windows Explorer: the .chm becomes displayed. When I click in the .chm on a link to open a .pdf file PDF is NOT displayed; Instead, a small grey icon appears in the window main .chm. This happens on any pdf link. It is impossible to view a .pdf file that is included in a .chm help.

    What happens on Windows 7 64 bit + IE10.

    It does not produce on Windows 7 32 bit + IE10.

    It does not work on Windows 7 64 bit + IE9 or IE8.

    Is there a solution?

    Too, I have encountered this problem and found the solution for it.

    Add the following attribute to your PDF hyperlinks in the html code: target = "_blank"

    This attribute is used on Web pages to load the browser to open a new window/tab to display the link in, rather than load them into the current window/tab. In the HtmlHelp Viewer, this causes the external PDF Viewer (Adobe Reader) to start and open the PDF file that is specified in the link. This allows you to work around not being able to display PDF files in the frame in HtmlHelp Viewer on 64 bit systems (as described by the http://helpman.it-authoring.com/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=12508 post)

    Example:

    Before: click here to view the PDF document

    After: click here to view the PDF document

  • my pdf file icons are now html firefox icons

    Question: PC think files PDF is HTML documents even if only I can get him to open in Adobe. I followed the instructions in several of these posts, with the exception of the removal of profiles, but nothing has changed. I still XP, if I followed the path, Control Panel, folder options and go to the tab that indicates the Types of files, then highlight PDF, it is said, you have customized files with PDF extension, to restore these files to their default type (Firefox HTML Document) click on restore. So currently they are open in Adobe, however all the icons are firefox. Every single PDF, not only those who have been downloaded on the net, I created some of these myself with PDF995. I don't want to spoil anything, I changed the way Mozilla handles PDF in tools, options, under the application. I think it is a problem of mozilla because under the Mozilla options, their PDF icon is the icon for mozilla.

    How to change pdf to jpg or html file? OXS 7.5 takes in 2015 Turbo Tax Prime Minister?

    Bruce

    Open the PDF in preview. In the item view toolbar, or the view menu, select thumbnails. You can then select each respective PDF page and export to various formats including .jpg image. Press option key in this export Panel to see more picture of this selector formats.

    Google PDF as HTML. There are several variants, while PDF is a format of end, can not convert to a view of true output WYSIWYG. Provide that the PDF file is not too large, zamzar may be able to manage it. Your mileage may vary from the tool to the tool. Another possibility is open the PDF with LibreOffice (Draw) and export to SVG, what browsers supports via right-click, or incorporating SVG into an HTML document. I just realized that this last sentence will not work for you because of LibreOffice demanding Mountain Lion or more late now.

    TurboTax first 2015 on OS X 10.7.5. It's a matter of Intuit, or someone here who really knows the answer. I doubt that Intuit is working for that their new products compatible with a Mac operating system (fall 2012) to the 3.5-year address. Find the specifications of the product on the site of Intuit operating system is like a root canal.

  • How to load the PDF (HTML Loader) with the reference of the file (dialog box) [AIR]?

    Hello.  I try to get my AIR application to load a PDF document from the dialog box using the file reference class.

    With the code that I have if I use an ordinary charger so I can get a PNG image to be loaded into a container and display on the screen.  But PDF requires HTML Loader that seems not to accept event.target.data because he expects a string.

    This is the error I got

    TypeError: Error #1034: Type coercion failed: cannot convert ["'FileReference object] in flash.net.URLRequest.

    at test_pdf_load_from_dialogfla_fla::MainTimeline/loadFile() [test_pdf_load_from_dialogfla_fl a.MainTimeline::frame1:61]

    Test_pdf_load_from_dialogfla.swf [UnloadSWF]

    Here is my code:

    import flash.net.URLRequest;

    import flash.display.MovieClip;

    import flash.html.HTMLLoader;

    import flash.net.FileReference;

    import flash.net.FileFilter;

    var file:FileReference=new FileReference();

    var container: MovieClip = new MovieClip();

    addChild (container);

    var i: Number = 1;

    the button is an object on the stage, will not be called via actionscript

    button.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, showDialog);

    var myFile:FileReference;

    var myFileLoader:HTMLLoader;

    function showDialog(e:MouseEvent):void {}

    myFile = new FileReference();

    var PDFFileType:FileFilter = new FileFilter ("PDF Documents (*.pdf) ',"*.pdf"");

    myFile.browse ([PDFFileType]);

    myFile.addEventListener (Event.SELECT, selectFile);

    }

    function selectFile(e:Event):void {}

    myFile.addEventListener (Event.COMPLETE, loadFile);

    myFile.load ();

    }

    myFileLoader = new HTMLLoader();

    function loadFile(e:Event):void {}

    myFileLoader.load ((e.target) m:System.NET.SocketAddress.ToString ());

    }

    (with the new selection of forum I also can't seem to put this topic in the location of the ActionScript of Flash Pro forum.)

    Success!

    I was thinking about this subject for several hours, when I thought that "maybe the statement in the function loadFile e.target may contain the"name"property.

    When I used a trace statement to test this, my thoughts have revealed that, to be precise.  The appeal of e.target.name fills indeed console output with the correct file name.

    To be sure that I did the following:

    myFileLoader.load (new URLRequest (String (e.target.name)));

    myFileLoader.width width = [[set to something other that the default value of 0 to show the PDF of the HTMLLoader content]]

    myFileLoader.height = [[ditto of the previous line, the default value is 0, which would make the invisible PDF content]].

    I'm so happy to have had this inspiration and also to the fact that the ActionScript documentation I found has good examples to follow.
