• QuickLook in PDF and JPG broken

  My OSX completely patched 10.11.3 system simply ceased to display previews of PDF and JPG files in the Finder.  Instead of the expected picture, all you see is the ASCII representation of code files.  In addition, Finder was hung a lot, who need to leave me it manually.  Previews of other types of files such as Word documents are very well.

  I rebooted in safe mode with the same result.  I cleaned the cache, repaired permissions, deleted the files in finder preferences and quicklook in each folder preferences (I used the terminal to make sure).  I see no errors in the console complain of bac sand and quicklook (see below) and it seems that spotlight also has problems.

  If I click on the "Open in Preview" button on the quicklook window then I don't see the exact content of the file.

  How can I fix?

  So I found and deleted the QLStephen.qlgenerator and all of my insights and QL are back to how it should work.

  The shared folder has appeared on the screen officeJet and test with success, when I wear analysis on the officejet, the digitized file appeared on the network folder but with of size 0 bytes and does not open even it is pdf or jpg

  I have same door on the other computer is windows 7 PRo X 64 spouse for the same field and scanned documents open succefuly.

  Not a problem of PL/SQL or SQL.

  It is a generic data format conversion problem. As convert audio gross (from audio CD rip) in OGG or MP3 format. Or convert a BMP to Windows format in a PNG format. Or convert a MS Office 200 x format DOC in HTML format.

  Technically, the conversion you need requires a
  (a) canvas
  (b) PDF rendering engine

  The s/w conversion will be data flow via the PDF PDF rendering engine and write data record in the area of graphic design. The graphical canvas will be then saved in JPG format.

  Not a simple thing to do because the PDF file can contain a 1000 pages and this requires a canvas that can support this (length of canvas of millions of pixels). Huge amount of RAM is needed for such a PDF.

  So in general - convert a PDF file in a graphical format like JPG is not a good idea. And I don't remember having seen conversion s/w of PDF to JPG.

  With respect to PL/SQL. It does not support a chart area. Or a PDF engine which can make PDF data.

  So what you want to do not only sounds not illogical, but technically very complicated to do in PL/SQL.

  Adobe Reader doesn't have the ability to create PDF files.

  Acrobat can create PDFs from jpg via file > create a file PDF file

  The answer to that is:
  It's hard. Very hard. There are few native Java solutions, your options are:

  (1) convince you the basic user who. Sucks DOC and RTF's The Way.
  2) Open Office script (or office). Open Office has an API that can do what you want
  (3) look at the alternative outside and everything, but as a general rule, they are reading rather than rendered data.

  Cool the OO API has even an example of file conversion.
