    Hi RUBYFRUIT,.

Did you delete Mozilla Firefox in the Menu start "all programs"?

When a program is installed, the default installation location is "C:\Program Files\ (Program Name)". Where 'C' is the operating system drive. So, you can check the following site for Mozilla Firefox: "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\". When you find the executable file, you can "PIN to Start Menu". To do this, see the following steps:

    (a) go to "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\" (where 'C' is the drive of the operating system).

    (b) with the right button on the file used to set Mozilla Firefox and click "display in the Start Menu.

    (c) click the Start button and you will see "Mozilla Firefox" listed.

Also, see the steps in the section "to pin the icon for a program to the start menu" for more information.

Hope the helps of information. Let us know if the problem persists, we will be happy to help you.

    Hello
Some Firefox problems can be solved by performing a clean reinstall. This means that you delete your Firefox program files, and then reinstall Firefox. This process does not delete your Firefox profile (such as bookmarks and passwords) data, since this information is stored in a different location.

To do a clean reinstall of Firefox, follow these steps: Note: you can print these steps or consult them in another browser.

    1. Download the latest version of Firefox from mozilla.org office (or choose the download for your operating system and language on this page) and save the file to install it on your computer.
    2. Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (or open the Firefox menu

      Click the close button

      ).

    3. Remove the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
      • Windows:

        • C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
        • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox
      • Mac: Delete Firefox in the Applications folder.
      • Linux: If you have installed Firefox with the distribution-based package manager, you must use the same way to uninstall: see Install Firefox on Linux. If you have downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder firefox in your home directory.
    4. Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
      1. Double-click on the downloaded Setup file and go through the steps in the installation wizard.
      2. Once the wizard is completed, click to open Firefox directly after clicking the Finish button.

More information on the resettlement of Firefox can be found here.

WARNING: Do not use an uninstaller to third parties as part of this process. This could permanently delete your Firefox profile data, including but not limited to, extensions, cache, cookies, bookmarks, personal settings and passwords saved. They can be retrieved easily unless they have been backed up on an external device! See back up and restore the information contained in the profiles of Firefox.

Please report to say if this helped you!

    Thank you.

  • I have 2 Mozilla Firefox on my desktop. They are both version 41.0.2 - in my installation and delete I find only one. How can I delete one of them?

I tried to update to Mozilla Firefox and I had another icon on my desktop. Now, I have Mozilla Firefox 2 and they are both Version 41.0.2. They are both exactly the same thing when I open the. I see only one on my add/remove program location so I won't delete it because I could delete them both. Can you help me?

You can remove one of the office shortcuts if both point to the same firefox.exe in the same Firefox program folder.
You can keep the one with the correct version information where the other is an older version of Firefox.
Note that Firefox 42 will come out next week (Tuesday).

  • I had installed a new driver and then downloaded Firefox 7. It has more than 100 witnesses in the download. Delete cookies in the browser do not help since then is in the download. How can I permanently deletes these cookies? Thank you.

Since it's in the download, I'm unable to permanently delete these (more than 100) cookies and they continue to reproduce whenever I open the browser. Sometimes cookies will not delete when I try to delete the cookie "only" and I have to remove "all". I used Firefox as my browser for years, but this never happened.

Create a new profile as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problems.

    -> Basic - a new profile troubleshooting

IF this new profile works, then you can retrieve your bookmarks and passwords the old profile.

-> Recovery of data from an old profile

Check and tell if its working.

How do you uninstall Mozilla Firefox?

I suggest you to check if Mozilla Firefox is always installed in programs and features:

Perform the steps mentioned below and check if that helps:

    Method 1:

Please check if the problem still persists in safe mode too. See the link below for more information about safe mode:

    (a) click the Start button.
    (b) type: cmd.exe in the search results.

  • Mozilla Firefox has my evil place how can I fix or disable it.

It seems that most of the sites get my location of Mozilla Firefox. He is constantly wrong and doesn't move. Today, it was somewhere in Texas, and I live in Ohio. It is a desktop computer and does not move. I put it on several sites and I don't delete my cookies but somewhere along the line it gets changed. It seems that it gets changed in my Mozilla Firefox. I know you go on location of dsl or something, but it just doesn't work. Even when it happens in Ohio, it is constantly a different city. How can I get a permanent location in Mozilla Firefox or disable the Finder of any place in Mozilla Firefox?

Sorry - but Firefox works with web standards to use the IP address of the connection on your side or by using the function of geolocation to a wireless (WiFi) connection. Websites using the IP address of a connection to the functions of the Web site or targeted advertising is secondary to the initial goal to use the IP address of a connection.
"Logout" does not-sites Web knows where to send data you ask / look at one, you cannot be completely anonymous on the internet. And change the IP address is something that the ISP has control.

An I forgot to ask is - you use DSL, cable broadband / fiber, or a dial-up for Internet connection?

DIal-up is get you a different IP each time that you connect to your ISP. and based on the phone number used to connect every time - it could be "calling" different "built" around the State offices each time. 15 years ago, a person could "seek" the Exchange prefixes to know exactly where each phone remote access was found by the community name and maybe even the address of the building of the "room of frame. But with "the new AT & T" engulfs all the 'baby Bells' this information was probably lost sight of consumers such as websites individual 'baby Bell' have been merged with the websites 'the new AT & T ". And the issuance of a telephone number of nowadays is not dependent on

Broadband services usually "lease" (via DHCP) IP address for 3 days (72 hours), so it of up to you for at least as long and normally does not change. The "lease" is updated each time you use the internet, which extends the "lease" for every 72 hours. If you happen to spend 3 days without the use of the internet through this connection for 3 days or more, you may lose this IP address and automatically assign a different address.

  • How can I register on Firefox Sync so that when I uninstall Mozilla Firefox from this computer and reinstall my settings for someone else, won't there?

Or just delete my settings and data in the Firefox folder that contains my profile only user on this computer, leaving the browser installed, but does not display my settings?

I want to assure you that all my settings and data will be always saved in my account of Mozilla Firefox, so that I can install the browser on a different computer and be able to connect to my account to see all my bookmarks, etc..

Nevermind, I figured it. Thank you.

For users having the same problem, I just uninstalled Mozilla Firefox from this computer went to the start menu and searched %AppData%, clicked on the "Roaming" and deleted the Mozilla folder. If it won't let you do this, make sure all the things Mozilla are closed and uninstalled. You can always sign in your Mozilla account on another computer or if you reinstall the browser on the same computer.

Whenever I have download and install the vista security updates I lose Mozilla Firefox. The program and the icon still exist but do not respond. By clicking on the icon or clicking on the program files does produce absolutely no response.

Some problems occurs when your Internet security program has been implemented.

update as being approved. Now how do I solve the problem: to allow
Firefox to connect to the Internet

    • Make sure your Internet security software is up-to-date (for example, you are using the latest version).

  • Firefox does not open. Keep saying the profile is missing. There is no profile of AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\

    I'm on Windows 7 OS.
I read a lot of similar and related problems anywhere as my own, but none of them has a solution that works.

I get the error message saying "unable to load your Firefox profile. It may be missing or inaccessible.

    I checked Windows: %AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\
    C:\Users\ < user > \AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\

Only thing it is a folder called Firefox and in that one a file called crash report.

There is no not called "profiles.ini" file so I have no way to access the Profile Manager and uninstall + remove manually all related Firefox folders/files and reinstall Firefox does not solve my problem.

I have no idea what to do to get out of here to go to solve this problem or difficulty why Firefox doesn't work anymore even when the reinstalled.

Have you tried to rename the Mozilla folder?

Also try to delete the folder to the location of the cache in AppData\Local.
