Phishing expedition?

I just got an email that links to what looks like iTunes.

portinformation/serversuppotinfo.html http://location-apps-iOS.from-ar.com/appleitunescanadastoreinformation/serversup

There, he asked me for ALL of my personal information. I have ios9 so I can access iTunes or the App Store, so HOW end it is charged to an order, that I could not even access?

Strange that this extraordinary enterprise would not have an immediate place to REPORT PHISHING for customers.

The appellant had a thick accent of the India.  He told me he was "Web support". When I asked him who he was with, he says 'Windows Web Support.'  He said that Windows was trying to update my computer and has not been able to access my computer while he needed me to go to my computer and follow a few easy steps, it is willingly to guide me through to solve the problem.  I told him that he was wrong that my computer had just updated during the night last night and it was up to date as I check it every day.  I asked him who he was trying to communicate with and he said ' You! I asked him to provide the name of the person he was looking for and he said that he could not because of privacy. He asked me to give him my name and it would confirm.  I did a name Joseph Blough, (but my friends call me Joe) and he said that was the name of the account.  Joe Blow?  Yes agree India Phisherman mister!

He seems to get angry and began to say things like, "man, I am not taliking about the automatic updates, I want to talk about the manual updates, you have to install yourself.  What, you distrust me? "" "You should just say you are suspicious and I'll tell you im for real man! • How can I report a phishing email claiming to be from Apple?

    I recently received the following:

    Dear Apple customer,

Your identifier Apple (***@gmail,com) has been used to restore a device of one of your iCloud backups.

IPhone (iPhone 5) of the device: Kewar

If you have not recently restored a device or you think someone may have accessed your account, we recommend that you visit the link below to verify that you are the rightful owner of the account. Check it out now >

Given that neither the identifier Apple, nor the name of the iPhone are valid, it's obviously a phishing expedition. How can I report it to Apple?

  • Constantly flooded with pop up / phishing scam messages!

Hi, I was wondering if someone could help. For the past 2 weeks I've been flooded with boring jump - rises from the constant / phishing scams "congratulations you have won..." "on my iPhone and an iPad 2! It has gotten to the point now where I can't use any of these devices! as soon as I use safari, google chrome, most apps for example BBC News, BBC sport, etc... It automatically goes to the prize / competition messages and can't click on them. I was not on all questionable websites, just news and sports that I used for years, starting by it seemed to be only BBC sport app but then quickly spread to all! It seems also occur just after I did the last software update, do not know if this is related to the problem?

    So far, I have:

    • Removed from web history (several times)
    • Completely erased and reset all devices and set up as a new iPad / iPhone.
    • Created a new Apple ID, incase it was related to my original account.
    • Make sure blocker made in the settings.
    • Been in the apple store for help twice, they just did what I had already done. He seemed to disappear when in the Apple store, but as soon as I got home n used them once again, he was back!
    • I tried installing apps blocker, but they did not work, and most are not comparable with iPads.
    • Messaged Apple on the Live Chat, but they did not help, just what I had already done before.

I'm completely lost what to do next.

If anyone has any suggestions on how to get rid of these horrible annoying messages / pop - ups, I would be very grateful.

    Thank you

  • I clicked on a phishing link and connected, my phone will be vulnerable? The scammers will be able to access remotely to my phone?

I had clicked on a phishing link, then connected, I'm afraid that they can now record my calls or go through my phone

Officials of the phishing link will probably not connect immediately - you still have time to change your login information.

I recommend to do so as soon as possible.

With your Apple ID, the most anyone can do is look through your received iMessages (no SMS) and all the data you downloaded/synchronized with iCloud such as Contacts, Notes, etc., but only if you have activated sync iCloud for these items.

Your calls will not be recorded.

I guess that your e-mail provider is doing this, or you have some useful security software. I am 100% convinced that Thunderbird does not do that. It does not change the subject line.
