Tent in advance: [email protected]
This one is interesting. Usually in phishing E-mail link seems real but mouseover shows actually, it does not address. In your case and it seems legitimate, but note that the person does not contact you in this way. You need to call someone without good reason, what makes me highly suspicious and then only an address of @apple.com is clearly Apple there is nothing that indicates that the phone number is true Apple (I'm not familiar with the French numbers). Received an email regarding an order is not uncommon, but it could be a coincidence.
I suggest you call Apple France on this subject. I looked at the issue online, but it doesn't look like a telephone number valid for the France.

I suspect that there is spyware on my Mac.
Today I used internet banking, and this evening I received an email claiming to be from this bank. It may have been a coincidence, but can advise you on how to clean my Mac of spyware, just in case?
It was a phishing attempt; not more, not less. Unless you recently downloaded something of a torrent or a comprehensive download site, or recently let someone away from your computer, it is highly unlikely that you have any malware/spyware/adware on your computer. If you wish, you can download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware for Mac. It was developed by an employee trust and respected here. It's a simple, non - intrusive program that removes malware known/adware from your hard drive. That's all that. It does nothing and is not take anything else. That being said, I don't think it's necessary here, but if you want to do it for peace of mind, it wouldn't hurt anything.

The phishing emails in Thunderbird but not appear in my ISP account.
A phishing e-mail appeared in my inbox of TB. Before it junking, I went to my Inbox ISP. The email was not there and could not be scrapped "at the source". It's already happened. It seems this email (and others) have their origin in TB. Is this possible? If so, how can it be prevented?
It seems this email (and others) have their origin in TB. Is this possible?
No, it isn't. My best guess is the message slipped through your ISP spam filter. You have a POP account, and the message is deleted from the server when you download with Thunderbird.

I received an email with songs that I didn't not buy what is a phishing e-mail?
Just curious to know if it would be a phishing e-mail. Said that I bought 3 songs the amount is in pounds and I am in the States. So I thought that it is one of these just phishing emails try to dispute the charges to get my personal info with me. I would be OK? I have not seen any invoice attached to my credit card on the account. Thank you. Not so computer savvy, tim
Yes, more than likely it is. You can simply delete the email, or you can send to Apple to [email protected] and then delete.

Hello
I posted this more as an info. I use Firefox 31 on two PCs. and had a phishing incident today. I read your article on Firefox from Ant-phishing / anti-malware protection and using the two test pages you provided, I found the phishing test page has not been blocked. I followed your instructions and successfully activated. For some reason any on my two PCs (one is Windows Update 1 8.1 and the other an old XP machine) only anti-malware was running. Both computers have been updated to version 31 in the last days. I don't know if the lack of anti-phishing enabled by default is a bug in this version, or has been copied to a framework of an earlier version of Firefox. I had never changed the security settings myself on any version of Firefox.
This isn't really phishing, which sounds rather like malware. Try to run some scans. Troubleshooting Firefox problems caused by malicious software

See above
It sounds like phishing. This happens every time, or he could have one pop - under page to a random site that does not necessarily indicate something lingering on your computer?
One of your extensions was said to be often bundled with other software, so you can check the Control Panel, add/remove programs to see if something unexpected is. Click on the column heading "installed on" group by date, which is useful to identify the bundle items.
If you find other strange symptoms, see our article on support for suggested scanning/cleaning tools: Troubleshooting Firefox problems caused by malware.

I went to Tools-Options-Security and made sure all reported attack/block fake websites have been checked. I went to the sites of phishing/malware test on this page: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/phishing-protection/
Both sites loading even if the assignment of security options, they should not have. I tried to restart my computer and Firefox, the problem persists.
Sorry, never mind, problem solved.

Have MacPro 10.6.8
I tried what your website says, it's the latest version of Firefox and when I go to install it says it's an older version which if are already at a standstill. And Norton Confidential says it can't protect you while you are using this version of fire fox. Phishing Protection requires fire foz 1.5 or later. I just want to download the version that works with Norton.Norton confidential is an old killed Norton product, which recounts the messages dated out Firefox 1.5. It has been replaced by Norton Identity Safe. https://IdentitySafe.Norton.com/

This happens usually a search engine (google) but sometimes go into a web page. Generally pages trying to sell something. It's very boring and tedious. I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled.
Google has advertising locations in his research on the web, maybe you are clicking an ad?
Sometimes a problem with Firefox can be a result of malware installed on your computer, you may not be aware of.
You can try these free programs to search for malicious software that work with your existing anti-virus software:
- Microsoft safety scanner
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
- TDSSKiller - AntiRootkit utility
- Hitman Pro
- ESET Online Scanner
Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP, if you do not already have one.

I was called by someone with an Indian accent supposed to be from microsoft. He said he is relating to files being downloaded on windows pc virus software and I wanted to know if our pc has been completed. I wanted to ask someone at microsoft that this happened because it sounded fishy (hook).
Hi Jonas,.
If you have not opened an incident (support ticket) with Microsoft, they do not contact you.
If you need help with virus-related issues, contact the Support Services Microsoft product.
Visit the Microsoft Solution Center and antivirus security for resources and tools to keep your PC safe and healthy. If you have problems with the installation of the update itself, visit the Microsoft Update Support for resources and tools to keep your PC updated with the latest updates.
I hope this helps.
Thank you and best regards,

I guess it's a some fake phishing e-mail and not microsoft?
Windows user,.
It has come to our attention that your Microsoft installation documents windows are obsolete. Each installation of Windows must be linked to a daily update e-mail account.
This requires you to check the e-mail account. Failure to check your records will result in account suspension. Click on the button check below and enter your details on the next page to confirm your records.
Hello Sally gardener.
I agree with your premise. Why do you ask? Updates depend on having you an activated copy of Windows. He is unresponsive to your e-mail address. Once Windows is activated updates will be downloaded as usual.
Microsoft have no 'daily updates' updates are downloaded specific all Tuesdays of each month.
The only time that your email address is used is when you "register" your copy of Windows. Registration is not required, Microsoft does not the e-mail address of each unique user of its software. I have, on the one hand, never recorded all copies of the software from Microsoft with Microsoft.
Treat is as a scam by email and do not respond.
