Phones cards smart blackBerry in the United Kingdom

my cards seem to be implemented in a u.s.a. style when I type in my speech, he says that he cannot find State and which is probably because I live in a city or a County, not a State, but if I type my County in the State, or of my city, I get the same message cannot find state/province or country I tried to put England UK United Kingdom and Great Britain is it possible to change if only it will recognize my address?

Thank you, adam

8300 has no GPS and no Wi - Fi.

8310 8300 = + GPS
8320 8300 = + Wi - Fi
8330 8300 on CDMA =
= 8300 8350i + DirectConnect

Apart from the last one, they were released on at the same time.

    Ciao,.

do you know how to solve this problem, probably I incorrectly somethings?

    Thank you all

It could be one of the three solutions... Try these:

    1. make sure that you set your own country code to the Phone Dialer screen > Options > smart dialing.

Set your country code in this format: "+ xx" where xx = country code. Some countries have two or three-digit country Codes. Do not place not the '+' in the entrance of your contact.

    * In the United States, the value of this country as '+ 1' Code and place your local area code in the appropriate box (this normally the default setting in a new BB).

    2. in the same place, change the length of National number for the number of digits corresponding to your country (since some countries have less than 10 as that set by default in the BB). Check out the total numbers, less country code. Do not place not the '+' in the entrance of your contact.

    * For example, some countries have a total number to 8 (more than 3 for the country code). You must enter '8 '.

    3. you probably have "Content Protection" located on your address book.

Look at the Options > Security > General settings. Scroll down to the content Protection > include addresses = no

  • Phones vibrate smart blackBerry and the tone does not at the same time not in the 8703e Verizon model

When I try to set a notification on the setting profile "Vibrate + tone" to incoming calls, it just vibrates and does not sound.  When I put it just 'tone' it sounds.  All settings are disabled mute.  Any suggestions?

There is no support for vibrate and beep at the same time.  The vibrate option + tone will make the unit vibrates and then tone.  This is how it works.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry bought in Egypt he goes to work in the United Kingdom

My husband bought me a blackberry as a surprise so I will try to get my head around how it works. I live in Egypt but will travel to the United Kingdom during the summer for 3 weeks.

I can connect the Blackberry via WiFi here in Egypt and assume that it will be just as easy in the UK where I have WiFi

If I want to use it as a Blackerry in the UK do I have to buy a UK data card?

If I want to use it as a phone to the United Kingdom, I presume it will deduct from my Egyptian phone balance as an international call, is that correct?

Can I use it as a phone to the United Kingdom with an existing UK Vodophone sim card?

It must be unlocked to use with a card sim/data of the United Kingdom, it is said that it can be used in all EU member countries.

If I want to use it as a Blackerry in the UK do I have to buy a UK data card? Yes, to use the data of BlackBerry, e-mail, Facebook, etc., you will need a local SIM card with the data of BlackBerry on her Plan.

If I want to use it as a phone to the United Kingdom, I presume it will deduct from my Egyptian phone balance as an international call, is that correct? Only if you keep the Egyptian SIM card in the device, which will deduct calls on a roaming international rates. For three weeks, you might be better with a local UK SIM.

Can I use it as a phone to the United Kingdom with an existing UK Vodophone sim card? See above, Yes

It must be unlocked to use with a card sim/data of the United Kingdom, it is said that it can be used in all EU member countries. Maybe it won't need to be unlocked if the paperwork has this notation in there.

Where can I find support in the United Kingdom, are there stores? Depending on what mobile operator, you use (Vodafone, 3, Tmobile, Orange)

Why nvidia 7900 GPUs is not available in the p100 to the United Kingdom? Europe & Middle East the 7900gs is available in the continent. The 7900 gtx in the States is available.

    Why?

    Hello

I put t believe that it of not possible to buy a P100 with the graphics card Nvidia 7900 to the United Kingdom. If you can't buy it forms mobile phone dealer in your city, so I'd check the shops online cell phone.
I studied a little bi and found these P100 units with the graphic card nVidia 7900.

    Satellite P100-426; P100-194; P100-191; P100-196; P100-215; P100-222

I found three different cards which were delivered with the P100:
NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900; GeForce Go 7600 and Intel 945GM Express

Anyway, the P100 is a new laptop and eventually you can't buy it in every store, but in my opinion several times this unit should be available in the United Kingdom with the GeForce Go 7900

Store changed from the United Kingdom to China the other day using my old zip code. Now can not return to the United Kingdom. Payment type is NONE, but get requests in billing add card details that they are not everything. Postal code is changed back to UK. Phone is iOS 4 s 9.2.1. Any ideas how to get back?

    Hi Sandyback,

Thank you for your participation in the communities of Support from Apple.

I see that you have changed the country associated with your Apple (iTunes Store account) ID, and now ask you to provide a method of payment. This happens when changing the country on an existing Apple ID, according to why I can't select None when I change my Apple ID payment information?

If you have changed your country or region

When you change the country or the region of an Apple ID, you must provide a payment method and update your billing options. If you want to delete your payment method after you change the country or region, you can change your payment information to none.

You will not be able to see or select the no payment option for one of these reasons. If you don't want to use a credit card, you can use another form of payment, for example, a gift card.

    Sincerely.

Yes and yes it should be... but:

This carrier of storm is unlocked for use on one medium other than that in which he is the brand?

To determine whether your BlackBerry is already "unlocked":
    1. on your BlackBerry, go to Options > Advanced Options > Sim Card.
    2. in this screen type MEPD (see note below) on your keyboard. A new menu will appear.
    * If your BlackBerry has a keyboard SureType (71xx, 81xx, 91xx devices) you will need to double-click the P keys real entries become M E P P D.
    3. search for the network in the list.
    4. If your device is "unlocked", we should have disabled or inactive. If it says active, it is still blocked by this carrier.

If you need instructions on how to unlock your BlackBerry for use on a
carrier other than that to which it is brand, check out BlackBerry

  • Card TV Tuner that works in the United Kingdom and Switzerland

Looking to buy a laptop computer running windows MCE. However, I need the TV Tuner card to be able to receive analog Switzerland and UK analogue or Digital TV signals. Integrated standard digital/analog hybrid TV tuner DVD-T sounds like it fits the Bill, but need to check if it works OK in Switzerland because they use the PAL B/G instead of PAL format I format used in the United Kingdom. Can anyone help?

    Hello Andy

The fact is that the TV tuner is associated countries and if you buy laptop with integrated (for example Qosmio) TV tuner, you'll probably be able to use it only in the country where the laptop is purchased. Perhaps the external TV tuners from different manufacturers are more flexible and can be used in different countries.

In my opinion you should speak with your local dealer. They have the best presentation of the product and you can get more accurate information. I also know that you can install WMCE on each item you purchase. I recommend for example P100. Large unit with fantastic 17.0 "TruBrite (1440 x 900) discovers Wide 16:10 color TFT display. I'm not 100% sure but I think that the Satellite P100-367 comes with WMCE.

  • BlackBerry Q10 State patch for BB10 (especially Q10 in the United Kingdom)

Safety seems to be the only point of sale of the Blackberry brand. Over this past year, I've been a proud Blackberry handset user, however, for the vulnrability FREAK, I noticed that the patch took several months to reach me, and since then, I've read the Wikipedia article asserting that the cariers (Canada and USA) North America provide the last set of patches (several months).

Currently I am on 10.3.1.1779 and have been on it since many months. Any idea when I got (to the United Kingdom) can expect to be on what Wikipedia considers the latest version (10.3.2.2339)?

Hello and welcome to the community!

As you read, it's the companies that control the release (via the official methods) of packages of OS to their end-users... so is the logical place to ask your question, I think with them. Indeed, the 10.3.1 branch had I think 4 releases more given that the one you are on, and there were 10 in the 10.3.2 branch... so your OS is indeed quite old now (and, if reports here should be used as an indicator, this version was also very problematic indeed).

But you also involved information it is important to keep separate. 10.3.1.1779 is a "software version", while 10.3.2.2339 is a value of BONE. They are different things, and depending on who you are chatting with or what tools you use, it is important to work with the right pair. Via the toolsets official (LINK, OTA updates, Update Web site), SR it what is used. But, for the discussions here as well as unofficial toolsets (ADF Knowyou), the real value of the OS is what means the most. Reference:

The key on getting updates, is that someone else is controlling what is offered by any official means... usually it's the carrier. But it's really a moot point anyway... If the official methods offer something new, there is no way to force them to do so. The only way to get around the controls is to switch to non-official methods and take control over exactly what OS is installed on your device.

Official methods, which will be controlled as to what exact OS versions are available:

Non-official methods, which are cleaner and allow you to choose a version of the OS that maybe your carrier (or anyone they control your offers) delays in approval:

Of course, before you start this, you want a good backup link, a manual copy of the memory of your device to your PC and complete documentation of your configuration (identification information of account, adding applications, configurations, etc.). Sometimes, restoring a backup returns unit corruption even, must be eliminated and reconfiguration from scratch can solve that.

Be aware of the risks of 10.3.2 however... There are two things to worry about. First of all, be 100% sure that you know your BBID identifiers... If you do not, you may make your useless device to anyone, including yourself. Second, once you move to 10.3.2, you cannot fall back to 10.3.1 or earlier, by any medium (for example, even the unofficial AutoLoaders can not overcome this restriction anti-secours).

    Good luck!
