  Interesting... a theory... SurePress in Portrait use two letters per key (for the most part). And so it uses predictive analytics to understand what you type. That, to me, would be contrary to the security to enter a password... Enter password, for me, has to be perfect and not helped a predictive analytics. Therefore, the use of the SurePress keyboard portrait for password entry would be blocked. Once again, just a theory... I have not seen all articles on the topic. So far... Only, I searched the BTSC and found this:

  Look at the Options > Security > General settings. Scroll down to the content Protection > include addresses = no

  Can you let us know what version of operating system you use on your phone?  You can obtain this information by going to Options > topic.  It's the number after the v.  My guess is that you run 4.7.0.141 on your phone as it was a problem with this OS.

  It is possible that your operator has since upgraded the version of the operating system.  Can you let us know which operator Vodafone are with you?  For example, Vodafone UK, etc.  I'll check to see if there is a version update of the operating system.  If it has not yet been upgraded, you have three options:

  1. Wait for the next update.
  2. Use a password that prevents the phone to release at least that unlock you.
  3. Use an OS that doesn't have this problem of another carrier... Note You may have difficulty getting support from your provider if you do so, but in General, there is usually no problem doing.

  I have AT & T w/modem.

  If I have my settings correctly, my phone automatically uses wifi to access internet if available... it seems that doing. WiFi reception seems weak, but I have no experience to compare it to.

  I am impressed with the desktop software, I managed an OS update immediately and took the apps I could remove. I can't go to the (captive) internet with software of bb, but only with the software, at & t, I guess it's normal.

  I tried again and using JL Cmdr 1.9.1 was able to wipe the OS. Then I tried to reload the operating system. The process was frozen again. I then my brother found a tip on another Web site.   In the latest updates to my browser 30.0. I now have Web sites do not show my password box so that I can enter my password. Still in the browser no problem when I try websites. It of not all Web sites but select some that I visit most often. I think 25 update was the last to work. I'm currently using Explorer but would like to return to the combustion chamber.

  I had a somewhat similar problem, in that I couldn't even Passwordbox appears in my Firefox 3 browser after installation.

  Although the message has confirmed a successful installation, the Passwordbox green icon would not appear in the menu bar.

  1. I went to the section modules via the Tools menu and confirmed that the add-on was indeed there and active.

  2. I have also restarted Firefox

  3. I removed the Add on, re-downloaded, reinstalled and restarted Firefox. Nada, no icon.

  Then I looked at the Options of Firefox and noticed that I had never chosen to recall history in the Privacy tab.
