• Photo captions are not dial correctly

  I'll put together a book that has several "chapters", each in its 'own document.  There are pictures all over and I have numbered captions under each photo.  This paragraph/list style works very well.

  In addition, I have a separate numbered legends style/list for each photo that is HIDDEN.   This is so that I can include details on copyright information, etc. in an Index of Images on the back of the book.  It works fine until we get to the chapter of Normandy American cemetery.   The list needs to pick up its "numbering following the chapter on the historical Photos.  (Prices and quotes that lies between the two has no numbered photo captions)

  Historic Photos chapter begins with photo #203 and ends with photo #213.  Instead of starting with photo #214, the list HIDDEN in the American cemetery in Normandy leaves with #203.   It's as if the software for this list is not just see the chapter historical Photos.

  

  Note: The legends of numbered photos that are displayed on each page work fine.

  It occurred near the front of the book, and to fix it, I had to create a new HIDDEN.  Then renumbering of strength and it corrected itself.   This time however, create a new list doesn't seem to work.  (And why would it get corrupted?).

  Any ideas would be appreciated.

  Each chapter has 2 layers.  Layer 1 is the main content of the book and includes a list of numbered photo captions that will appear on each page.    Layer 2 is the HIDDEN layer.

  You must anchor these images and their captions in the flow of the main text to keep the numbering correct.

• Lightroom 5.0 on Windows 7 - problem in the Module Photo caption book

  Using Lightroom 5.0 on Windows 7, I produced a 76 page book in the book Module with multiple photos on most of the pages, but two photos showed not their captions and do not even print a PDF proof print run. I had the photo captions in the metadata, but subsequently entered the legend of the relevant picture via text custom from the left panel and also directly in the legend of unsuccessfully photo printing area. I changed the size of the picture, without success, but when I did an automatic photo cell fill, legend appeared in the photo, but disappeared when the sizing has been cut back. I've exhausted all the possibilities of help at this point.

  I use Lightroom 5 because I didn't upgrade while in the middle of this great exercise. As I have a PDF version on a USB key, now that I have almost completed the task, maybe upgrade to 5.7 could solve the problem, if it's a bug in 5.0. My intention is to have an impression through Blurb.

  When the photos are viewed... a method
  would be to use editing software to apply
  legends in the face of the photos.
  (FWIW... applying this way would be legends
  be permanent as a Date stamp)

  The free Picasa software has several options
  to add text to pictures.

SO there, a company that UNDERSTANDS what that ME a customer/consumer wants and PROVIDE a product for my simple needs. Thanking you in anticipation.

• INDD anchor epub...photo/caption

  I have a very simple book, copy of body with periodical/caption of the photo under a skin.

  How can I keep the photo and its caption anchored with the body of the text for export to epub?

  I see how to keep a picture snapped, but cannot find a way to anchor the photo and the Cutline together and anchor the combo to the corresponding text.

  Anyone tried this?

  You can try to group the photo and caption in the mount table and place it in the body of the text.

• How can I send attachments with photo captions?

  I recently tried to send a file of images of my "my pictures" and then wait forever abandoned by using the option "send this file" and sent as an attachment.  However, after carefully appoint each image title showed in enamel. How do I do that?

  File names will be with photos... always... but they will not
  displayed in the body of an e-mail (HTML) RichText message.

  Maybe I don't understand the question.

• Export a Board-contact for individual photos

  I contact sheet (s) 12 (3 x 4) photos. I want to automate the export of these individual pictures - I don't like the loss of resolution and I understand that I can't go back to the photo high resolution original.

  They are fairly simple - profile thumbnail photos captions on a gray background. I don't care about the legends - I can add those hand later using copy and paste. What I care about is to get individual photos. It should be simple to programmatically (or using a PS plugin or filter, or bridge) to export these. However, I can't understand.

  Photoshop CS5 shows the file > PLC > Crop and désincliner Photos, but if you do of boards in Photoshop (instead of bridge) contact looks like you have an earlier version.

• Live captions to help merge data

  Got a problem that I hope you data-mergers there can help me with, wrt legends Live.

  My merge data file contains text and image links that all import very well, fortunately to create my document of 30 pages of my 30 csv file line.
  I would now like to 'live' to the image that the "metadata" below the photo caption.  So Ive who put up and everything works very well on my test example where I just paste the image in my image of the document placeholder, the legend is filled correctly.

  BUT when I try to do it via a data merge, the text and the image is correctly positioned, but my the legend box is not. Then realized in order for this legend is filled, I needed to select the menu option ' legends > generate Live Caption "so that the box caption text to be updated."
  However, I have ultimately about 230 lines of datamerge photo links so don't really like the idea of having to be updated for each image, especially if the metadata are constantly being updated.

  Is there something I'm doing wrong, or maybe a global setting that ive missed?

  Data fusion is much longer than the Live captions feature. When LUKE came out, merge data was not converted to endure.

  I use Windows Movie Maker to create a photo slideshow set to music. In addition, each photo has a caption.

  Here's my problem:

  Some photo captions are messy when I publish the movie. For example, "TCS 1999" shows as "SDC 199" in the published version, even if "SDC 2000" remains the same in the published version. " Not every picture is affected, but it is irritating.

  I would appreciate anyone's insight into this matter.

  error on line 9 in column 35: xmlParseEntityRef: no name

  This is the error I get, I've tried everything and can't seem to solve it. It appears just after I get my credentials, I'm under Flash builder 4.5.1 AS3.0 and GraphAPI_Mobile_1_7.swc. I have the Facebook application configuration, and I use the good APP_ID. This app is going on the BB Playbook with the updated facebook updated app. What I'm trying to do is to upload a picture on facebook, I pasted my code below, can someone help me or at least tell me what means this error? • How can I use the fonts in typekit that I already used that isn't currently available?

  About a month or two ago, we reorganized our entire website and used a font typekit on each page of our Web site.  Everything was fine and we love him... until now.  We just did with the 2015.2 update.   When I open the file of our Web site it says that we use a font of the typekit that is not available with our current plan!  Our current plan has not changed.  We have already published our site using this typekit fonts... And now, each of our web pages has duplication of text, photos, captions, etc... It's a mess to say the least.  I'll need help to remedy this situation.  What happens here?

  I tried creative cloud signature and signature as suggested on another thread of discussion.  The police has been 'Futura PT Medium' if that helps anything.

  For Mac->

  (1) sign of Muse (Help menu > Sign Out)

  (2) close all Adobe applications.

  (3) then, open the activity monitor. You can use the spotlight search to look for.

  Quit 4) Adobe all processes including service bureau Adobe Creative cloud, CoreSync,.

  (5) open the Finder. Press command + SHIFT + G set

  (6) in the go to folder dialog box, which appears, type:

  ~/Library/application support/Adobe

  And press return.

  (7) look for a folder named, OOBE. And rename it to OOBE_old

  (8) open the Muse. Then, on the file menu, click on "Add/Remove web fonts. Test if this displays all errors, or load the fonts available.

  For Windows->

  (3) then, open the Task Manager.

  (4) end Adobe all processes including service bureau Adobe Creative cloud, CoreSync,.

  (5) press the Windows keyboard and the 'R '.

  (7) in the Local folder that appears, open the Adobe folder and look for a folder named, OOBE; Rename it to OOBE_old

• Lightroom 6 does not accept UN-French accents or umlauts.

  I just switch from Aperture to Lightroom 6 on my sub Mac Mavericks and I found that it was impossible to enter the o, u, i or e to the clavier.

  It's very boring pour write a photo caption.

  The only parade found was to type accented characters refused in a text editor and copy paste into Lightroom.

  There is a bug in the French edition and I I hope Adobe will fix it.

  I solved the problem by updating the installation (yet two days old!) version to the build 1078672.

  So it was a bug on the (old) version still available for download.

• Export of images in .rtf problem

  Probably missing me something simple here, but I can't understand why my JPEGs of my incopy document are not visible in my .rtf document. (Just the photo captions see to the top, but not the photos.) I export a .rtf from incopy.

  The images are anchored to text in InDesign (in the same frame as the text), all graphics and stories are exported to Incopy. InCopy text is exported to a .rtf.

  All other documents I compare mine appears to be implemented the same way in regards to related images and export all fines to a .rtf with images, but I am confused on what I was doing in this file that is different. using Incopy with InDesign CS6 CC would be the culprit?

  Well well... after I was wondering what I was doing wrong, I thought about it.

  What happened is I anchored inside frame of text (direct selection tool) AND the frame (selection tool).

  I just need to attach the frame and images export in .rtf doc.

  It took me forever to figure this.
