  Basically, the answer is that if you want to use high-quality photos, you need a lot more storage Mac - 120 GB is tiny - if you want to make things interesting to improve your storage space

  iCloud is a synchronization system, not an external 'hard drive '. If you remove them on your device, they will remove icloud. To increase the available space, go settings/iCloud/Photos and select optimize iPhone/iPad storage. That will reduce the space required by 90% when it is fully effective.

  I went back to Lightroom after opening was abandoned by Apple and I'm happy to be back. I can easily import photos from my iPhone 6 on my desk, but what to do with the pictures on my phone.   This function no longer exists in LR as Adobe says that it was originally people loose photos, accidentally I think, so it must be done manually. To be honest I never used no deletion automatic, I want to import and check all is well before any withdrawals!

  Uninstall you just like any other program.

  On the screen of the Launcher, tap the upper left corner to open the drop down menu.  Press DELETE, scroll down to highlight the program you want is missing, and then press the button Delete at the bottom of the screen.

  Hi, all of my existing photos are stored in the "events" in iPhoto. I can't access iPhoto from Lightroom using import. I have to move my photos in the Finder or on my desk before they are visible.

  For Lightroom work, photos must be stored on your hard drive and visible in the Finder. They cannot be in the iPhoto library.

  When you import images, Lightroom does not matter the actual photo in the catalog, it generates thumbnails and does not change the images on the disk.  Finally, if you manipulate photos under the heading 'Files', then it is going to move, delete, or edit photos on the disk.  This feature is one of the main reasons I went from iPhoto and Aperture, Lightroom 5.

  use datamerge to merge multiple records, this makes it all pretty slick until the photos come in. photos need the head and shoulders of the student, but the photos that are often provided were more than that. It would be nice to have a script that would allow images in the frames of move/size available in a dialog box options.

  Thanks for your reply. I plugged directly into the wall after reading about it, some problems of fixing on the forums. He has nothing. I finally got annoyed when the problems started affected the printer completely. Three different people take off open back the front, looked on all the rolls and nothing found. I tried to check the ink cartridges to ensure that they have been inserted correctly. As I put my head down on the desk of boredom, I saw... A whole piece of the book all the way inside the printer behind the control panel. He managed to crumble by preventing sliding back properly and through the printer ink cartridges. I asked 2 people to come and look and see if they could find the same paper. No luck, lol. I showed them exactly where and they both were surprised that the size of the paper, and that they could not find. in any case, removed the paper... it's fixed! Thanks for the support!   I've been reading comments & comments about free Macrium Reflect and Paragon Software. It seems that neither one is head & shoulders above the other, and the people have problems with both. It goes the same for Norton Ghost and Acronis True Image. People seem to complain at once may not be reliable.

  Is there any reason not to use Windows 7's built in software?

  Hello BNSFMike, as you suggest, most of these applications to disk image works much the same and is really just a personal preference of the user. I have used several of them over the years and settled on Acronis, since I have never had a problem with Acronis, while I experienced a few problems with other images backup applications at one time or another.

  I've never used Windows backup, given that I have heard horror stories of backup locations not where the user wanted that they be saved. The D: Partition Recovery comes to mind.

  I do create a new disk image at least once a week and perform a restore disk image every so often.

  I have also copy and paste the new disk to an external hard drive image, but also another computer on the network, just for redundant backups. I saw a need for these in the past.

  Because everyone has different needs, a backup approach is purely a personal preference, but the main thing to remember, is to always keep a current backup. Disk image approach I use works for me, even though it may not work for others.
