• Photoshop.exe has disappeared from my computer

  Windows 10 Pro, Surface Pro 3. I have a full licensed version (perpetual) of PSCS6 + various plug-ins, etc.

  Every 3 months, I start PS CS6 and I get some sort of opinion on "Your trial version" (is about to expire, etc.). I think the last time that happened, cat was always available and has been very helpful. In my view, that a registry key has been involved... Obviously, Adobe surreptitiously change from time to time some configuration settings, so when the PS is launched, it behaves like a trial version. I guess it's an effort to move the user to a perpetual a CC license. It is a tactical cheese and unethical IMHO.

  I launched the PS today and there is a new problem. The PS shortcut launches connect to CC. The dialog box has the legend "Photoshop CS6 extended." There is a paragraph entitled "terms and conditions for the evaluation version. It is a new problem.

  I checked the target of the shortcut of PS. It's "" C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64 Bit) \Photoshop.exe"" but there is no "Photoshop.exe" anywhere on my C drive, according to a research from Windows Explorer.   I had the same problem on Mac OS. And I could not migrate the settings. Launch as resetting preferences suggest here, has not solved the problem. I had to go to the library main folder Preferences and reset the permissions for the file Photoshop CC 2014 paths Photoshop CC 2014 folder and Settings. I am disappointed that Adobe has shipped an upgrade with such a fundamental flaw. I think I should say something derogatory and disparaging about Adobe, quality control, on the way as a loyal customer, using Photoshop since version 2.5 and a Subscriber CC, expecting better. But I'll leave these comments for others.

  The ACR 7.4 700 d or newer of the 70 d (if there was typo) requires and ACR, 8.2 or newer.

  PS CC 2015 as the title says needs OS X 10.9 or newer so PS CC 2014 is the most recent CC PS, you can run on your 10.8.

  11 elements of Photoshop that supports RTAs 7.1 also supports ACR 7.4, so you should be able to update your PSE11 to 7.4 of the cab and open the 700 d raw files.

  It is unclear why your PS CC 2014 cannot be updated at least 8.2 RTAs that must run on your old operating system.

  I would be completely uninstall the PS CC 2014, reboot, then reinstall and use the help / updates to see if you can get a new Camera Raw plugin that works.

• Disappearance of elements in a PDF when flattening

  I suspect that this has been discussed before, but we have set up a publication and receive announcements PDF from many sources, so I don't know how they are built.   Hi b.ray, the browser.preferences.inContent preference was just in place temporarily for a period of transition. now that there are new features and settings, go to preferences and was former windowed interface is more maintained, its users would have missed out on them, so the support fell completely in firefox 42.
