  I am able to run PS CS3 and earlier versions of PS without problem.  But when I try to start 64 bit or 32 bit PS CS4, it crashes every time.  This same system running all my apps, 3D, compositing apps, apps for painting, vector apps, applications without problem.  But PS CS4... No.

  I did a search for this particular problem, but is massive son complain of PS CS4.

  the problem seems to be the scriptingsupport.8li plugin in photoshop cs4/plugins/extensions

  If you delete the plugin or rename 8li at old extension, then launch Photoshop error should not happen--at least on vista 64-bit, it worked by doing this.

  Previously, I had TCS5 on Windows7 64 bit, and I had no problem to produce online help by importing into a book of FM HR.

  Now I have TCS2015 on Windows 10 64-bit, and the RH2015 crashes whenever I have try the following procedure.

  1. once RH2015 is started, everything works fine.

  2. as soon as I import a project by setting the FM book to import, FM2015 starts and immediately a window shows an incident notification message (see the figure below).

  Note: FM2015 is the last generation: 13.0.4.532

  

  Is this a known issue?

  What happens if you start first FM - just leave to the start screen, then launch HR and try your import? You still get the same message?

  I was having the same problem and found the solution from Adobe.

  Go to the Control Panel - hardware and audio - display-

  change the size of the text for the smallest a 100%

  Restart the OS and start adobe flash
