  Unable to launch fully is often related to the video driver. I'd go to AMD/ATI, check your video driver installed. If not the most recent, then download and install it. Note: there are a few problems with some of the latest drivers from AMD/ATI (especially in the PS CS6 forum), then it might be necessary to roll-back to a previous video driver.

  If this isn't the cause, in your case, then you have come to the less ruled out one of the main causes.

• Photoshop Elements 8 Organizer crashes whenever I start it

  I'm having a problem with the Photoshop Elements Organizer (version 8) - whenever I start it, it blocks immediately. This has happened since yesterday when I download some photos on Smugmug via photoshop elements where it crashed for some reason, and now it crashes whenever I open it.   I don't know, but maybe it's one of several cases in the latest version of Skype 7.0 is not able properly to interpret data from the BIOS. At least, that was the issue with the cases already reported with this error message:

  Offset: 0x00d527d7

  A fix may be available in one of the next versions of Skype. In the meantime, the solution is to uninstall version 7.0 and install the 6.21.0.104 previous version.

  I suggest you to view update history to see which update might be causing the problem.

  (a) open Windows Update by clicking Start , all programs, and then Windows Update.

  (b) in the left pane, click view update history.

  (c) to display more information about an update, double-click it.

  Once you know Update KB number, provide us with the same for further analysis and troubleshooting.

  I tried to update and roll back my graphics driver, I checked my swap file (because my SSD uses Samsung magician, and I found a few posts a few years ago which suggested that might be the problem), but I can't understand this.

  Other Production Premium CS5.5 programs seem to work perfectly, and only Photoshop is having issues.  I tried to reinstall (in which case a vital file has been damaged or missing).  Photoshop displays all errors of himself, he just died.
