  If you already have a license, you need not to buy another. You can reinstall Windows as often as you want.

  However, reformatting and reinstalling Windows because you have a problem are almost always a very bad answer to the problem and almost bever should be done. It is usually very difficult and often causes its own problems.

  With a minimum of care, should never be to reinstall Windows (XP or any other version).
