Photoshop on OSX 10.8/ML throws 'strtable error' on the open dialog box

Upgrade to ML with the newest CS6 (cloud creative) and in the dialog box open, click files PSD gives a generic "error strtable. I can still open the files. Any ideas what this can be?Screen Shot 2012-07-30 at 2.04.21 PM.png

In my case it was FontExplorer X Pro.

Even if you uninstalled, the error remains.

You must go in the folder Plugins in Photoshop and remove FontExplorer Plugin

  • MAC OSX 10.9.5: what is this strange file format in the open dialog box?

    Hi all.

    I had never really noticed this, but I saw a rather unusual format in the dialog box open and I was wondering why it appeared she did. It appears in the file/open dialog box as follows:

    To be completely transparent, I had posted this image on my Twitter feed at @illustrator. Since then I have been in contact with Scott, but the Council was to reinstall Illustrator. If this had happened on a single machine, I would rather agree that this can do something, but since the discovery of this unusual format, since saw him on six Mac OS 10.9.5 and illustrator version 18.1.0 18.1.1

    Can anyone else confirm that they see the same thing; or if there is a difference, that this format is actually. I suspect it's a bug but need confirmation by other users.

    This is the plugin automatic activation suitcase. I turn it off and the odd file format disappeared. Means also my previous comment on past on machines WITHOUT the plug-in was incorrect, and I can confirm that after having double-checked the machine without a suitcase.

  • CC of Photoshop crashes in the print dialog box.

    Photoshop CC2015 crashed in the print dialog box. I use 10 64-bit and Windows printing via a TCP/IP port to a printer Xerox 700i Protocol. The dialog box is very slow to react to clicks, and most of the time that it blocks just close photoshop.crashed.jpg

    The driver is blocked due to a bug in the driver code.

    Most other applications use the same APIs of modern printing such as Photoshop and so use code different in the driver.

    The manufacturer of your printer should know this and need to debug the problem instead of blaming the software from third-party manufacturers.

    Experience more, you can try: hold down the space bar while you select print in Photoshop. That make Photoshop will not load the last used settings of the printer, which is something that we have seen the cause crashes in some drivers (different causes of crash, but apparently this code path doesn't get tested).

  • Photoshop CC 2015 [was: CS] off the screen dialog boxes

    I use Photoshop CC (2015). When I opened a dialog box, it seems to open out of the screen. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    I deleted the settings of Photoshop files, but this has not solved the problem.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    If you delete the preferences of Photoshop, then all the locations of the dialog box are reset to zero, and they open centered on the main screen.

    So, either your BONES think the main display is elsewhere, or you have some other utility of changing the location of the dialog boxes.

  • axCWIMAQVision.ExtractSingleColorPlane, performed twice on two separate images, throw an error on the second try

    I have the following code in c#:

    ' Private Sub ExtractColor (SourceImage, CWIMAQImage CWIMAQImage DestinationImage)
    {
    CWIMAQImage colorPlane = new CWIMAQImage();
    axCWIMAQVision1.ExtractSingleColorPlane (SourceImage, colorPlane, CWIMAQColorPlanes.cwimaqLuminancePlane);
    axCWIMAQVision1.Copy (colorPlane, /DestinationImage);

    }

    I need to run this method twice on two separate, identical images every time that overwrite the original image. It works on the first fine image, but then on the second picture, she throws an exception ("Type of Image invalid"). What happens here? I tried to change the order of how to get picture but the first we're STILL working and the second fails.

    I just looked at your code once again, and now I'm sure of it.  Image1 and Image2 are pointing to the same image as the Original.  Since using them as images of destination, they are getting crushed.  Your code is like the following:

    ExtractColor (Original, Original) / / Original has been transformed from color to grayscale

    ExtractColor (Original, Original) / / cannot convert to grayscale image, must be color - error!

  • ID throwing "Internal error" on the document

    I have the document which is a calendar with 12 pages 2016. I opened it to update my calendar 2017, and InDesign keeps putting in place a dialogue that says "Internal error". It provides no additional information.

    I returned and opened my 2015 calendar file and it does not cause the error.  I might have a document that is damaged, but not sure.

    Any guidance would be appreciated.

    Error in the same files on different platforms suggests file corruption, but no error filter sounds more like an installation problem.

  • There was an error in the opening of your printer. Print functions will be unavailable until you have selected a printer and reopened all documents. Error message in PhotoShop CC

    CC PS print worked well today. I made no changes to the preferences. Between working with 2 projects, the first a fine print, the second gave me this error Message.

    There was an error in the opening of your printer. Print functions will be unavailable until you have selected a printer and reopened all documents.

    Now I checked the updates for my printer, reset my printer, reset preferences PS CC, took my default printer and the last used and restarted. I followed all of the fixes recommended for this question, that I have found here and on the internet. Fine, I can print from any other program. Unfortunately, the error message keeps popping up, and I can't print.

    PS The CC is up-to-date

    Help?

    I started a conversation with the support, they took control of my PC and that fixed it.  Was not fast, but they basically reset the PS preferences.  They made sure to back up all my custom templates, forms, actions, etc., before be reset and it worked.

    Hi all

    I have a drop-down list item in one of my pages (SELECTION list). I'm trying to display a few items he dynamically (depending on the logged-in user). I've defined this SELECT LIST and entered into the following query in "list of values".
    select enrolled_course display_value, course_id return_value
    from COMP_LIST
    where stu_id = :APP_USER
    order by 1
    I got the following error.
    1 error has occurred
    LOV query is invalid, a display and a return value are needed, the column names need to be different. If your query contains an in-line query, the first FROM clause in the SQL statement must not belong to the in-line query.
    Then I tried the step by step instructions of "Oracle® Application Express Advanced Tutorials-version 3.1.2 - E10497-02. With the help of creating list of values such as creating separately. That too, I got the same error.

    I'm doing it wrong I suppose. Please correct me. Thanks in advance

    Hello

    The principle should be the same. The value of the text element would be stored in the session, then you can use: P1_APP_USER (or what is called the element) instead of: APP_USER. To be absolutely certain, you can create a page process to fill the element having the value of APP_USER point process before conditional header field is null. Or you could create a component of demand that populate once the connection and then use it everywhere where you have - I tend to do something like this with user-specific information that is stored in my tables from the user.

    Yes, it is a dialogue of BONE, but Photoshop does not display icon or image - that is, until the BONE and shell extensions, that you have added.

    Most likely one of your shell extensions (to provide icons) has a bug.
