Photoshop CC 2015 [was: CS] off the screen dialog boxes

I use Photoshop CC (2015). When I opened a dialog box, it seems to open out of the screen. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

I deleted the settings of Photoshop files, but this has not solved the problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

If you delete the preferences of Photoshop, then all the locations of the dialog box are reset to zero, and they open centered on the main screen.

So, either your BONES think the main display is elsewhere, or you have some other utility of changing the location of the dialog boxes.

I tried the solution as Kipp Ky\'Eva posted, but I couldn't find an option to "Gather Windows" (after I plugged my second monitor, I saw that this dialog box was also off the screen).

I found another solution that worked for me however:

Go to System Preferences > monitors.

    Click on "scaling".

Note the screen resolution you are using.

Change the resolution of the screen to do anything and then change back to your original setting.

For me, that reset the screen with all the windows in their places.

You can disable the general masking in general system preferences in El Capitan.

For full screen, you can prevent the concealment using do not full-screen.

  • Program opens off the screen in a multiple monitor on Windows XP configuration

Original title: I URGENTLY need help with an XP several problem of monitor!

Our company has recently migrated to a new office and I got stuck with the displacement of all the computer systems to the new office. To make a long story short, one of our employees use four 4 monitors. After many difficulties, I finally got the monitors working as a horizontal screen with scrolling smoothly from left to right.

However, I have a BIG problem. One of the programs of this employee uses disappears (flies off the screen right most) when maximized. I can bring it by moving to the right screen, but I can't understand how to do that a permanent solution. ANYONE - your help would be appreciated. Is it a matter of swapping the screens? It was rather difficult to get properly prepared screens because it did not meet the order, I tried. Anyway, these people are rare flowers and get bent out of shape, if the program opens on the designated window. Is there a way to specify which window it can open on whether it can be remedied at all times?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Petrovsky9000,

Have you tried disabling 3 additional screens and then by testing the application? If you need help of deactivation and activation of the monitors, you can use the following as a guide:
    http://www.Microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/Setup/hwandprograms/monitors.mspx

If you always lose the application when the window is maximized, try the following:

    1. With 1 active display, maximize the application.
    2. In the display properties window, set the resolution of the single screen for a step down from where it is now and apply the changes.
    3. Accept the new resolution, and now to see if your application is in the center of the screen.
    4. Now go ahead and set the resolution to what it was and and apply the changes.
    5. Make sure the application is always visible and maximized correctly. If so, go ahead and turn the other 3 views and see if everything works properly.
Here are a few steps that solved the problem for my own systems in the past. I hope this helps!

  • Windows Vista - stuck on logging off the screen

I have this same problem with Vista Home Premium that others have had.  When I tried to shut down the computer laptop last night, he is stuck at logging off-page - with the active circle always renewable.  After 20 minutes or so I was tired so close by using the power button.  This morning when I turned on the laptop, he went to the same page of disconnection. 3 hours later, it's still there!  My technical knowledge is, to say the least, "limited."  I tried to open safe restart mode and pressing F8, as suggested on other threads, but which didn't work - I can not go beyond the logging off the screen. How can I solve this?

I had the same problem... This method works.

Turn on the computer and when the screen shows recovery Windows press the space key.

You will be presented with 2 options - either to continue with system resume or to remove the Hibernation file and start with primer system - choose the second option - you're fixed!

When I opened an email in Windows Mail, the message opens partially off the screen.  I can, then drag or maximize, but then the same thing happens when I click to reply to the message.  I have Vista.  Does anyone know how to fix this?

  • Flys window off the screen to the right

I know that something like this was posted, but the answer doesn't seem to work for me so I'll try again.  I have a window open for example internet.  When I click the icon at the bottom of the screen, all I see is a small box of shooting off the screen to the right and when I click it back again this subject comes flying to the icon.  Nothing I've done seems to back open on the screen.  I crushed my right mouse clicked and was caught and pulled, but nothing comes back on my main screen.  I stop the program and reopened it always does the same thing, I rebooted my computer.  I looked everywhere for answers and nobody seems to be able to help me.  Maybe one of you can give me some advice.  It's a very frustrating situation.

Oh my God I kept looking for an answer and found something someone said in another post on the resolution of the screen and I understand what they were saying.  I went to my office right clicked (see that I am not a guru) and chose the resolution of the screen.  I had "to extend these screens" clicked so I clicked on "show the desktop only on 1" and it then, there was my missing icon. • Windows 7 does not open the windows in the taskbar. The content seems to be displayed off the screen

Windows 7 does not open the windows in the taskbar. The content seems to be displayed off the screen. It started after the uninstall of Registry Mechanic and PC Tools, but this cannot be bound. IE 9 seems to be particularly affected. So do not display all of the windows that show on the taskbar.

Use the Windows logo key & left arrow several times for each windows application through their positions until they appear on the screen.

This problem is normally reported after someone used an external monitor as the applications try to open in the same position they had when they were last open - so if there was an external monitor last time now disconnected, they will try to open it in the middle of nowhere.

I know not, or the other tools that you mention, but if they are registry cleaners then they could also affect other parts of your system.

  • File copy/delete dialog box is off the screen in a staggered multiple follow Setup

I'm on Windows 8 on a ThinkPad W520 with a 1920 x 1080 screen and a secondary antibody NEC LCD2070NX 1600 x 1200 display connected via DisplayPort. The NEC is positioned to the left of the ThinkPad and raised higher than the ThinkPad display; the bottom of the NEC is near the center of the left edge of the ThinkPad.
I put to the top of the poster in the Panel to take account of this arrangement:
If I have a window of the Explorer of files open in the secondary monitor on the left and use this window to copy or remove some large files or folders, the progress dialog box is not visible. It is currently displayed in the "man no of land" above the main monitor and the secondary screen.
The problem occurs when the secondary monitor is on the right, or above or below the primary. (I have tested some of these cases, but not completely). Also, this does not happen when the Explorer window is on the primary monitor. The problem does occur at all on Windows 7.
Here's a film that illustrates the problem. For each image, I copied a large directory on the network and took a screenshot to display side by side and move the secondary display up to about 120 pixels in the control panel every time. You can see how the copy dialog box follows the secondary monitor vertically, but her left side is pinned to the left edge of the main screen, so he ends up disappearing from the screen.
It is easy to see what is happening here: Explorer normally centers the dialog box of progression on the same screen as the Explorer window that opened the dialog box. This does not work as expected in the direction, but on the axis X to the left edge of the dialog box's get pinned to the left edge of the main screen.
As the corner at the top left of the primary monitor is always (0,0), it acts as if the dialog box was positioned like this pseudo-code:
    monitor = getWindowMonitor (feed)
    dialog.centerOnMonitor (monitor)
    If dialog.left< 0:="">
    Dialog.Left = 0
When the dialog box is off the screen, it's a bit disturbing, because it makes the impression that the Explorer window is locked. The only way I know to make visible the dialog box is with this exercise of the superpowers of keyboard shortcut:
    1. use Alt + space to open the system menu of the dialog box. The menu will open on the screen no matter where is the dialog box.
    2. Press m to move (or click on move).
    3. you will see a four-headed mouse cursor, just to fool you into thinking the mouse could do something now. It will not!
4 instead of this, you have to hit any key of the arrow, which begins the displacement of the dialog box.
    5. now you can use the mouse (or the puree on the arrow keys) to move the dialog on the screen.

    A bit of good news...

I just tested this on the latest version of Windows preview 10 technical, and it seems to be fixed.

  • Photoshop CC 2015 does not support the import of videos in my version of Windows

I have 8.1 Windows Pro installed on my PC and the trial version of Photoshop CC 2015 run but if I try to import and edit a video supposedly supported by the software I get the message "Could not complete your request because PS does not support the video in this version of Windows" edition of videos was one of the reasons I want to use Photoshop.  I can upload a video for editing in Adobe Premiere elements 13 then why he can't edit in Photoshop CC 2015

What is the video format?   CC 2015 will certainly support video editing point 8.1 of Windows, but not with all formats.  If you have a format that is not supported, then convert to MP4 with brake hand.   It is practically an essential for video editors anyway, as it may low size of the video completed without loss of quality.

    It's free, btw.

  • Are preferably looking to keep the focus of the timeline in place after the playhead to play off the screen

    Hi all
I think I used to have this setting put in place in a previous version of PP, but I can't remember where it was. I would like to be able to keep the focus of the timeline in place and leave the playhead to play off the screen. At the moment if I'm working on a section of the timeline, as he plays and the playhead leaves the window it will pop the update so that the playback head is located near the left side of the window and away from the section, I was working on.

Is there a setting to turn this off? I really prefer monitor me my position of the window. Thank you!
