• Problem with the text tool.

  Hello

  I'm having trouble with the text tool in pse 8.

  When I type and I get to where I want to start a new line of text and press the Enter key, instead of starting a new line under the rest of the text as it is supposed to and always, before starting the new line of text directly on top of the text line previous. When I continue typing just starts the line of text overlapping. It's really annoying and I have no idea how to fix! It was working fine earlier today.

  I hope someone knows how to solve this problem.

  Try to reset the text tool by clicking on the small facing down

  arrow on the far left of the tool options bar and choose

• Photoshop Elements version 8.0 problem with the text tool

  I'm using Photoshop Elements version 8.0
  I can change the images, and do everything, except using the text tool,
  It starts up and displays on the screen as a line, but no letters appear on the document/photo. When send SMS, its blank, I googled for answers and found nothing.
  Tried to reset the installation has not fixed the problem. I tried changing paragrafs as the newer versions with the same problem, did not set the it.

  Please help me

  On the options of the text above on the left tool bar there is a small arrow. Click on that and reset tool.

  I am a bit newbie to Indesign, and I was just wondering if someone could help me. I have problems with the text tool.

  I worked on my first rare documents, (postcards on 1 simple page), but when I come back to add some more text using the text tool it does not create the usual type frame/box and the cursor will just directly on the upper left side of the document? I don't know that I have to do something wrong.

  My apologies if the answer is dead simple.

  You probably have a rectangle as the background on your page? When you click anywhere on the rectangle with the text tool, it converts your bulk text rectangle and the insertion point jumps to the upper left corner of the frame.

  It s a little annoying, but you can get rid of this feature of preferences, in the Type tab, there is a text check function tool converts frames for blocks of text (or something like that) just uncheck it... To change these rectangles accidentally converted to frames grapgic (select the rectangle and choose object > Content > graphic)

  If Don t you want to stop using this feature, you can also draw your block of text off the page, you type text and it moves the right position

  5 Mac Lightroom. Problem with the Radial tool. I use this tool a lot. I have to hit a key by accident because between photos, renowned lines disappeared and I don't know how to get back them. Without the lines of text scrolling here I can't rotate or develop the radial tool.

  Press H on the keyboard.

• Text changes when you click with the text tool before editing

  I have a big file and think that there not saved properly or something. I tried quiting and relaunch Photoshop, but this does not help. Editing the text of other Photoshop files normally works.

  As soon as I click on any text with the text tool, as if I'm going to change or style of the text, the text changes instantly. The content and style of the text shall be replaced as soon as the cursor is placed anywhere in the string.

  The really weird thing is the updated text is text that appears elsewhere on the page. If I click on another text that she is now to who will also get automatically replaced by another text on the page. And it goes on and on. It is impossible to edit or any text style unless I have create a new text.

  I think that the file has arranged miss references to items that becomes apparent that I am editing.

  A way to fix this?

  Hi people, working on a poster in Illustrator. Added the type of area, using the text tool. Now I would like to increase the size of a single line. I can't select or change any type with the text tool. I have moved into a new layer, registered, closed type Illustrator, restarted my Mac (OS X 10.7.4).) Looked in preferences, in which case there is a problem. No luck.

  Furthermore, I don't see two handles when selecting the tool more. Don't know if that is related.

• Problem with the text frames and photo...

  I use InDesign CS4 and design of a newsletter. My frames are not stated with the solid lines, but rather with weak points.   Not a problem at all (well, maybe a little).

  The x' are only the rectangles are created with the Rectangle frame tool, rather than with the Rectangle tool - or, indeed, with the text tool. X definition will disappear as soon as you click with the text tool inside. They must indicate the two different basic objects and can get a different default value object style applied.

  The usual way to draw a framework designated to receive the text is a drag with the text tool.

  The dotted lines can be a problem - which indicates the frames are created on a master page, rather than on the page you are working on. You can not click on type and in a setting which is located in a master page. Must be "freed" first (Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + Double-click, with the black arrow). There are arguments for and against defining managers text on master pages. You'll have to decide for yourself what to use.

• Problems with the Brush tool in Animate - chips of leaves or steps of the finished line.

  Noticed this problem with the Brush tool in Adobe animate - seems to leave a chip or stage of the race over each time that a line is drawn.

  Older versions of flash were perfect, no problems with the brush not tool at least.

  We have fixed this problem internally and the fix should be available with the next update to animate CC.

  Hi adobe community.

  I am using the trial version of adobe after effects, but I have one or two big problems with the software:

  1. If I use the puppet tool (I don't know English name) for the two points on the object the program closes!

  2. it is impossible download this plugin: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe after effects CC 2015\Support (Media Core plug-ins)\Common\ImporterWindowsMedia.apm Files\

  Try CC 2014 and see if the problem persists.

  Try CC 2014 will help us see if the problem is in the latest version of AE or on your system in General.

  I have problems with the puppet tool on my Windows 7 CC 2015 machine running.

  If there is a problem with CC 2015, use CC 2014 for a little while. There is a coming update at the end of this month which aims to fix a LOT of bugs.

  I have suddenly problems with the radial tool and the tool filter degraded.  They are turning to my red while selection that the assets and not with the results of the any adjustments.  It is a new issue and out now where

  OK, Bob. This give a try.

  First, open a new file and make sure the background is white, not on Transparent that I suspect you have currently defined.

  

  Then, type your copy. Your layers panel will then look like the top of this picture...:

  

  and when you drag the text on the image layer, it will look like the lower part of the sample above.

  You can then position the text layer with the tool move

  My PC crashes sometimes when I use the crop tool in LR6. It seems fairly random, and I never had this problem in LR5.

  I discovered that, although the resolution of the image is of no consequence when the sizing of the images in pixel dimensions, it is always important if you decide to add information of copyright with the text tool.

  for example, I received pictures of several people, all sizes of 1024 pixels in width, but I wanted to add their names to the front of the images before putting the images in a slideshow.  I quickly discovered that, even if the images are identical pixel seen, applied names vary in size according to the resolution of the image.

  Because different brands of cameras assign a different resolution to the images taken with this camera, I needed to change the resolution of images to be all the same before I could add the names appearing in the same size.

  It was a surprise for me.

  I think we are saying the same thing.

  "Now, Type is expressed in points and points are defined as 72 points per inch for output format."

  This is the information that I needed.

  When people send me images that are all in 1024 x 768 in size in pixels (I'll stop using the word 'size') the size of the font that I choose to use appears differently on these images, depending on their output resolution.

  There is no way to avoid having to adjust the resolution of output of these images, if I want to have text added (via the text tool) that appears the same size on all images.

  Now, I can explain why this is happening.  I hope this is helpful to others reading this.
