  What kind of things you are trying to accomplish with your iPad 1?

  If you are looking for basic adjustments, sharpening, cropping, etc., and some effects minors & frames, then you can always try Photoshop Express... In other software, you could do much worse than programs like Nik Snapseed or Filterstorm Pro... I use both of these apps but PST now offers me options that none of them have-, more continuity with the native OS Photoshop itself...

  None of these other programs offer a "layers" option so if that is your need then I see a new iPad in your future...

  Even if you could make it run PST I think your iPad 1 processor and ram would stifle enough hard as soon as you tried to superimpose several layers...

• Why Photoshop Touch for Android permission want to disable my keylock?

  Yesterday, I was warned by my Android tablet that there is a manual update available for Photoshop Touch. I usually install these updates immediately, but this one gave me a break. Among the new permissions the app asked was this:

  TURN OFF THE KEY LOCK

  Allows the application to disable the locking of the keyboard and any associated password security. A legitimate example is the phone to turn off the keypad lock when you receive a phone call coming, then activating the keypad lock when the call is completed.

  It makes me nervous to say the least. Under normal circumstances, I would never setup an app that asked this authorization. However, since it is an application, I used for a while of a large company like Adobe, I am prepared to consider. But I'd like an explanation - why authorization is required?

  DISABLE the locking of the KEYBOARD was introduced for a feature that doesn't version PS Touch 1.3.

  Permission is not currently used by PS Touch.

• Photoshop CS5.1 demo Crash when opening the file

  I just downloaded last night. I went to try out it this morning, but it crashes when I try to open a file. I so can not open the software back until I get into the task manager and end photoshop processes running in the background. I'm running on Windows Vista.

  Well Yes you're crashing into your NVidia video card driver.

  Please update the driver for NVidia to (non-Microsoft) web site.

  And the process is the gel after losing because Microsoft "search for solution" has not finished, but for some unknown reason.

  Hey there,

  I searched and searched through the entire interweb, but almost no one seems to have never had such a problem, so I think it is the right place to ask and hope to be helped . Short version is: Photoshop CS5 (x 64) is constantly crashing when you change a layer style.

  Recently, I installed my CS5 Design Premium on a new laptop (Fujitsu Lifebook AH351) and I have serious problems with Photoshop CS5. On the first run, everything was fine, and he keep like this for a while. Now every time I try to edit a layer style Photoshop crashes immediately. I did not need to change anything, just open the layer style, press OK and Photoshop has disappeared. I can work around by resetting the preferences that works until the next reboot, no matter if I change anything on the settings or not. Tried this on the initial version of the PS and the last update (12.0.4). Once I have reset settings yet, I can work again on the layer styles. Any of you have a similar problem or an allusion to what I could look at?

  The Lifebook has of a decent feature which I think somehow the culprit in this case: it has an on-board graphics unit and a separate GPU (nVidia GForce GT 525 M) that can be added in on a program basis. Indeed, Photoshop recognizes and allows me to enable the OpenGL functions as well, so from there, it seems. The internal GPU cannot be disabled because connect you your monitors.

  WindowBlinds was probably to blame.  It's a bad app that changes the window settings and made generally bad things for the environment of the user interface to achieve a different look.

  There may be more options for things you can do (bad) to Windows, such as the screws of the metric of the display with the software from StarDock, simply because Windows is more popular - but if you don't about frivolous things with your system it can be as clean and steady work as a Mac system , if not better.  Mac have many of their own problems.

  Hi Mike,.

  The cause of the accident is intelocl64.dll which is the file to Intel graphics card drivers.

  Make sure that your graphics card drivers are updated.

  If this does not help, follow these steps:

  • Quit Photoshop
  • Press windows and keys r to open the run window
  • Type w and press enter
  • Open Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC2015.5\Adobe Photoshop CC2015.5 settings
  • Move the sniffer file on desktop and relaunch Photoshop
  • Check that it works fine now

  If this does not help, try to delete the file .lrdata from your catalog folder and rebuild the previews.

• HR 2015 crashes when you import a 420-page Word document

  I have a manual which has more than 400 pages, his style is really simple and unique to each page. Yet everytime I try to import it into Robohelp slows down and stay a long time, then stops working.

  I tried the same thing with the PDF version of the document, but it also hangs.

  Is this a general problem with Robohelp and long Word and PDF files or what exactly?

  HR 2015 has worked well when I imported a Word 63 page document, so I was wondering if it is possible to divide a document this size in several pieces and put them then with the same table of contents, and how can I do this effectively?

  It should not fail. I tried before to import the 500-page document, and it works fine. I met only error when I tried to import using our model. So, I copy everything to a new document and then I continue in import. Try to copy your content into another document, and then click Edit in HR to parse the file.

  the best way to understand what a transparent pixel is maybe to use the tool to clear and remove a few pixels.

  You get even if you create a document painting vacuum something in this regard.

  I also I have a problem with PhotoShop Touch on the iPad2 (iOS 5.01). I start the app on the iPad and it hangs right on the spalsh screen. I have also reset and restored the iPad and no joy.

  Please try uninstalling and reinstalling PS touch.

  When I'm editing images (jpg format) in the preview, the application crashes when saving the image. For my work, I need to add labels and arrows to photos that I take in the field.
