Photosmart 3310: photosmart 3310 windows 10 - printer not found

I bought a new computer (Lenovo: 30) and immediately updated for Windows 8.1 to 10. I ran the Print and Scan doctor who has downloaded the latest version of the software, HP Photosmart and Officejet full feature software and drivers - Full_Webpack - 140.0.408 - AIO_CDA_FSW_Full_Win_WW_140_408-5-5 and then installed.

If I use a USB cable, cable network or WiFi connection, the installer of HP does not see the printer. This is true even when I type the IP address.

If I run the doctor print and scan, it does not see the printer the first time. Only once it has been turned off, then on again it to see. He ends by suggesting that I down load the software for the printer.

I find printing methods, but I can't scan documents which I do often.

I uninstalled and reinstalled several times softeware. I have turner off the firewall scanner and McAfee in real time, as suggested by some post that this could be the problem.

I can see the printer in the file Explorer > network window and get its network name, I can access the printer using a web browser and IP address. I can see it, the PC can see it, however, the HP installer never sees.

Your help would be appreciated.

  • I'm more able to print messages from Thunderbird. By clicking on the "print" key does nothing. Clicking on give the preview before printing a printer not found error message.

    I have recently installed Windows 10 on my machine (upgrade to 8.1)
    The "print" button does absolutely NOTHING. A printer NOT FOUND of error occurs when I try to get a preview of the message.

    -Go to System Preferences > print & Scan
    -Right (or control) click in the rectangle listing your printers and select Reset Printing System.
    WARNING - This will remove ALL your printers!

    I have a HP Envy 5535. I've only been able to scan with it once. I scanned 22 documents, after HP Scan Doc 4.4 running. Every time the scanning HP Doc says everything is OK, but as soon as I try to do an analysis of test, I get the error message "printer not found." I also tried this scanner with my McAfee virus firewall off the coast, and it still does not work. I have also identified it on McAfee as part of my network.

    I'm sorry that you can not scan with your HP Envy 5535, but I'm happy to help you!

    To get help, I'll need to know:

    1. If you use Windows or operating system Mac and the version number. To find the exact version, visit this link. Whatsmyos.
    2. If the printer is connected, wireless, or USB.
    3. If the printer is capable of making copies of itself.
    4. If the power cable is connected to a surge protector, or directly to a wall outlet. Questions when it is connected to an uninterruptible power supply/Strip/surge protector power. This is true for printers and ink jet.

    In the meantime, please try go through this guide to scanning. A "the computer is not responding" error message during scanning.

  • Printer, printing - printer not found / not lit

    Since there are two days that I had not a printing problem now I am unable to print from my computer which is only 5 months running windows 7.  The printer is a HP jet 8500 new brought 2 months ago wireless desktop.  The test of printer prints all the correct information. Computer says printer not found.  I uninstalled and re installed several times.  Have made the most of all the steps to find a solution, including troubleshooting.  with the last telling me that the printer is not turned on. I did a restoration of systems for several days back and it still does not solve anything.

    I ran before him fix it download and tried again with the same
    answer that the printer is not on.  The printer is turned on and all the other features of the printer to work IE: fax, web and copy.

    I ran an 'r' on my new motherboard used, running the same HARD drive and now I guess he thinks that there is a printer somewhere and so... whenever I start the computer I get the pop up bubble looking for material, said OS os BIOS "find printer" and then "no printer not found" I mean it's just a hassle evry time having these "threaten to performance" If you want topics with my XP Pro SP3, basically I just use IE and working relationships.     You can access this way startup programs...

    Start button > in the search box, type msconfig > Enter > click on Startup tab. Here's your startup programs.
    To disable, uncheck the box in front

    To activate... check the box opposite.

    RE: Windows Defender cannot be found.

    If you have the following AV, antivirus, programs installed, close your Windows Defender. Purpose of these AVs have their own advocates. 2 defenders on the same machine will create conflicts.
    Bottom line: it's ok. It's normal.

    AVG
    Microsoft Security Essentials

    If you don't have AV programs above, here's how to restart Windows Defender:

    Start button > in the search box, typeServices > press the Enter key > scroll to find Windows Defender, click on it >...

    I used to have a photosmart HP and it worked fine, but after a period of non-use, it is not found by my computer.     I want to help you get your mac and Samsung to see your replacement printer. On the front screen of the printer please press the wireless icon. There are 4 icons in the upper part, the wireless is the second from the left. In the Menu arrow until settings wireless advanced. I would like to disable IPV6, arrow down to IPV6, and then select OFF.

    I saw the IPV6 interferes with the Hello Protocol several times, often time turning off this feature will solve the problem and allow the Mac to see the printer on the network. Once IPV6 is disabled try to add the printer again.

    If the problem persists, we will try to do a cycle of power supply, computer and printer.

  • HP Deskjet 3050 (J610a) won't scan - printer not found

    The problem was that I had installed the drivers of BASE and not the FULL software.

    Silly me!

    But it could help other users in the future. Uninstall, and then download and install the FULL software and everything should work fine.

    When asked to windows update in Control Panel and then it indicates that the 4 "application not found" security updates keep being loaded whenever I turn computer and forces another install when I stopped 0x8000706BE error code.  The security updates that keep relocation are KB2633880; KB2656352; KB2572073; and KB25188864.

    I'm not high on the list of the "computing", so don't understand is not complex responses.

    When a scanner is out an image/file all in black, this usually indicates a hardware problem. If the printer is new you can bring back to the store and exchange it.
