Photosmart5524 transfer photos from a memory card

Hello.

How to transfer photos from a memory card to the computer, Photosmart5524 windows, 8.

Thank you.

smogboy.

smogboy,

I'm sorry that you have difficulties to transfer pictures from the printer to the computer.

(1.) the printer must be USB during transfer

2.) when it is connected with the USB cable, it must be able to access it through "My Computer" on your system

I hope this helps

  • OJ6480 am not able to import photos from the memory card inserted in the printer to laptop?

I can't import pictures from my memory inserted in my OJ6480 card.  I am connected with USB and nothing appears automatically after you insert card.  Also, I used the menu photo option and he doesn't want me to import.  Help, please!  Thank you.

    Hi cafahr,

I understand you are trying to print photos from a memory card.

I find the user manual for Officejet 6480 and found the following.

After taking pictures with your digital camera, you can print them immediately or save them on your computer. To save the pictures on your computer, remove the memory card from your digital camera and insert it into the slot for card memory on the device.

    To save your photos

NOTE: Use these instructions only when you use a network connection. If you are using a USB connection, then a dialog box appears automatically on the computer when you insert the memory card into the device.

    1. Insert a memory card into the suitable location on the device.
    2. press on the picture Menu.
    3. press the arrow keys and select Photo transfer and then press OK.
    4. press the arrow keys, and then select Yes.
    5. press the arrow keys and select transfer to computer, and then select the name
    of your computer.
6 follow the prompts on the screen on your computer to save the photos to your
    computer.

From what you described, the question is simple, the dialog box does not appear on the computer. What happens if you start it > computer or workstation? Do you see something here that looks like it could be the card into the printer?

Try to leave the printer and unplug the power cable (with the inserted memory card), leave the printer unplugged for about a minute and then plug it back. I want to see if this will push the communication to the computer.

Have you used this memory card in the printer before successfully? I ask because the problem may be the memory card or the memory card reader in the printer. Take a look at this link, memory card troubleshooting.

I hope it's useful. If the problem persists, please return with answers to the questions I asked, I'll gladly do some additional research and return with possible solutions. Please also let me know if you use a Mac or a WIndows OS.

  • BlackBerry smartphones transfer photos from the memory of the unit storm 9530 for computer

I've seen a few similar posts, but nothing worked for me.  I recently went on a trip and took more than 200 pictures on my Blackberry.  I need a simple way to transfer all of them to my computer because obviously send them one at a time, or moving them one at a time is not practical.

When I go to Options > memory, all the options are defined on the (card, Media Transfer Protocol Support) and Mass Storage Mode Support.

When I go to media > pictures > all pictures, I see all of my pictures.  When I go into photo files, it says the device memory.

When connected to my PC via the USB port, I try to pull up in Windows Explorer.  I see options for device MTP - device memory and device MTP - Media Card.  There are only empty folders in the device memory.  Multimedia card has nothing under the data and only my music files in the media.  Similar behavior when I pull up in Windows Media Player.

    Any suggestions?

If you use the Media Manager in the Office Manager are you able to copy the photos from the memory of the device to your computer

  • Transfer Photos from an SD card

I know 'how' to transfer photos from your computer to an SD card, but why aren't the pictures that have been transferred to the SD card displayed in the order that they were transferred?

I've transferred the photos to the SD card in a specific order, but they have been 'scrambled' when I saw on the digital camera, not that I transferred them or alphabetically by name of file on the computer.

Photos on the computer are displayed in alphabetical order, regardless of when each picture was transferred to the computer, but how the photos posted on a SD card?

I use a camera Kodak Easyshare and Windows XP, if that makes a difference.

If all goes well, someone knows what I mean.

Windows cannot really control it.  Looks like your camera is ignoring the alphabetical sorting of file name and possibly using another sorting system (maybe by the time stamp date change on the file?).

But unfortunately, the solution will lie entirely with the camera itself.

  • transfer photos from an sd card on icloud or dropbox on a trip

I'm looking for a reliable way to do the following, without lugging my computer on a + 2 weeks of vacation:

    • Upload photos from the SD and MicroSD card to my iPad.  Do NOT delete these photos from an SD card.
    • Have these photos then back-up for the cloud - iCloud or Dropbox would be OK, even though I prefer Dropbox (due to Rat Pack feature).
    • Then easily remove copies of the iPad (because otherwise I'll fill the disc).  I expect to take thousands of pictures... I don't want to have to select each of the 1000 + photos step by step to remove iPad tehm.
    • Be sure that these photos REMAIN in iCloud or Dropbox once they are removed from the iPad to 100%.

This would allow me to a) have my pictures saved on SD card AND save them in the cloud b) share photos while on the road and c) do not run out of space on the iPad.

I was in the Apple store today and TWO employees told me there is no way to do that today.  To remove images of the iPad, you must click on each image to select it before deleting.   Apple... it must be a user script which is VERY VERY common.  Please, I beg you! It is time to remedy.

If someone in the community has any workaround or the same backup solutions that work without using the iPad (is there a portable HD which will automatically copy what is on my SD card even)?  I greet you all useful information. During this time... I'm going to see if we can do on the tablet of my child.  :-(

    Thank you very much!

In your photos app, when you press to select, you can select the value of a whole day of pictures, you don't have to exploit each. It depends on the view.

What do you think should work. If you remove photos of your photos app they will be removed from your photos in iCloud, but dropbox is different.

Flickr can also be an option for you. They have a function of automatic download that should all download and should not remove

I would suggest experiement now. Download some and see if they remain.

How can I download pictures from a sandisk memory card

    Original title: with windows 8

    Hello npaddles,

Insert the Sandisk memory car in your location of memory card reader. Once inserted open Windows Explorer and click on the folder of Scandisk. It appears as a drive letter with something like "removable disc" displayed in the left pane of Windows Explorer.

Select the files you want to copy and then right-click on them and select copy. Now make a right click on the folder (on your hard drive) where you want to store the files, and in the drop-down menu, select Paste. The files should now appear in the new folder.
