Cannot with any combination of clicks, buttons etc., successfully insert an address in the Contacts/address book pane in the TO: field in an e-mail message. I need to open the contact, copy and paste the email address in the TO: field. Am I missing a setting?

  How do fill you your address book? If it was imported, possibly via the CSV file, then it may have given in inappropriate areas. It seems pretty common to be registered when importing e-mail addresses and nicknames, and Thunderbird don't look for email addresses.

  I assume you have tried typing and seized semiautomatic and also F9 and the Contacts Sidebar? You are trying to boot from an open address book?

• Problems when creating extension using pim contact webworks API

  I need to create an extension that use webworks APIs to get all contact data as well as launch the contact selector and must obtain the name of the contact, numbers and Base 64 of contact image chain.

  Now, I have a few quesries below:

  1. I tried to reach my api requirement with webworks. For this, I did changes in the config.xml file.

  and able to access the API of pim.contact placed here: C:\Program Research In Motion\BlackBerry 10 WebWorks SDK 1.0.4.11\Framework\ext\pim.contacts

  But when I tried to get all contacts by using the getContactAccounts() method, it gives me two accounts simcontacts and LocalContacts and their identity papers are respectively 2 and 19.

  I found that I can get the list of contacts using the example of the contacts. but this is to limit the length to 20.

  I checked and there seems to be a problem with the API that has been fixed for version Gold SDK. Here you can find a similar position:

  It seems that it was default 0, which gave 20 results, as opposed to-1, the expected default value.

  For now, if you simply pass a high value for limit, which should get the contacts (i.e. 1000). I know that's not ideal, but a workaround for now.

  SAB, in this moment, it is not possible to change the address fields. Currently, the address fields are determined by the selection of countries.

  When create you a new message from the drop-down list displaying all possible addresses appear immediately, but there is up to a second 20 expect the selected address appear in the address field.

  I restarted mode without failure, but the problem persists.

  Hi robmm76. I looked at the link you provided. It seems that the reason why AutoFill does not work for the address field is because of the way this field has been programmed on the site. It has been programmed to make type you part of your address and click on the right pair and it would then fill in city, State and zip code. If this field is just a special case.

• Address field is red - a color that is difficult for me to see. Is it possible to use the configuration editor to change the color.

  Apparently a bug in Thunderbird is changing the "To" address to the Red even if the recipient is in my address book. The address is displayed when I start typing the first few letters of the recipient, but the text turns red which is difficult for me to see. I want to continue to enter addresses that I always (first letter type or two) would be the simplest solution to change the color from red to something easier for me to read. I looked in the configuration editor but can't seem to find a key that is appropriate for the address field. Can anyone provide assistance?

  I had this problem this morning too - after briefly of the Internet Scouting I found the only current solution is to disable the "include the Suggestions of Safari" under Search tab in the preferences.

  I watched this and it seems that it is perhaps something to do with privacy between contacts and pages, but in the security and privacy, there is no no application next to the contacts
